381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 16, 2014, 07:16:34 PM
and all this talk about manipulation when someone is dumping in 500 batches while everyone else is expecting a bubble is...manipulative.

 Cheesy

I really don't know if everybody is still expecting a bubble... Many have written the bubble off, but maybe not enough people for the bubble to actually begin - remember, a bubble only happens when a lot of people don't expect it to occur anymore!
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dealing with higher BTC volume/value on: July 16, 2014, 07:15:05 PM
Well there are many people that deal with those numbers even today and they find a way. Interestingly, people seem to care less about their money when they got it through speculation and didn't actually 'do' anything for it. So maybe you won't even mind Tongue
But hey, just keep your stash safe in a paper wallet and transact smaller sums that won't affect your life if you lose them!
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 16, 2014, 07:12:15 PM
bitcoinity just did the odd thing on my machine where the depth graph on the ask side remains flat for a rather big period before showing some action. I was pretty puzzled but reloaded fast enough before starting to ponder about who is possibly manipulating the market at the moment Tongue
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My $11k bitcoin odyssey on: July 16, 2014, 07:07:52 PM
Think of the positive sides: You've hopefully got a decent life and people who care about you! Yeah, it's quite a lot of money but believe me, there are people who are far worse off than you!
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 311023 the biggest block ever found? on: July 16, 2014, 07:00:17 PM
There are a lot of blocks that became orphaned around that block. Did something strange happen today? I'm trying to figure out the reason but can't seem to really wrap my head around it.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and spending habits on: July 16, 2014, 06:56:15 PM
That's an interesting strategy. Until now I've only heard of people who try to pay everything with bitcoin and instantly 'refill' their stash by buying the respective amount of bitcoin afterwards. Your idea definitely is more aggressive! Kudos!
387  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 15, 2014, 09:29:15 AM
I just enrolled a day ago but only now changed my signature (logged in at home), I haven't made a post yet, now I hope Stunna doesn't think I didn't update the signature  Cheesy So, just for the record, 233 posts and the signature is correct. Please, someone confirm these statements  Grin

You can put in post count 233 for your records to keep track of it for the next month unless your going for 50 by Thursday
but I looked at yours quickly and its fine as long as you filled in the forum etc.

My only worry was that I only put up the legitimate signature after I enrolled via the google docs form. But definitely before I started posting posts for the signature campaign itself Smiley So practically no harm done. Thanks for your opinion  Smiley

389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin wallets be trusted? on: July 13, 2014, 08:14:03 PM
Online wallets may be unsafe, yes. If you don't possess the private key for your bitcoin's addresses, you basically don't own them. All you've got is an IOU...

Please no relaunch.
There will always be whiners who didnt start with the correct pool. I started @ cryptopool.eu only 3 minutes ago and you don't hear me cry.
Just mine like regular people, youll earn the same in one-two hour(s) that you would've made mining 2 or 3 blocks at start.
+ Relaunches kill coin credibility. Just lets find outwhat pool jumped the gun and boycot it for months to come.

It will probably be worst if you relaunch

Also, is last payout 200%? According to your transaction tab it seems so.
