161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, 50% POS Active on: November 01, 2014, 08:51:39 AM
Hi Diamondcoin Devs, cryptonit, popshot, Diamondcoin.

Been with Diamondcoin for quite a while now and things look like there going well again. Thanks to the team for all the efforts.
I hope things keep growing with this coin.

Another coin I follow is Supercoin, and they are after a new developer the original and current developer wants to hand over the coin to another developer who has proven experience. And is willing to hand over the code.

I consider that the developers here for Diamondcoin are very capable people. You have proven to be innovative, and been able to cope with problems that have come up with diamondcoin.
I think this would be a great opportunity for yourselves to take over Supercoin I believe you would move it in a good direction.
I think Supercoin along with Diamondcoin are complimentary for you because of their diversity. Having different coins to fulfill different purposes.

As far as I have seen many were worried that Supercoin was not all that it claimed to be at first.
But over the course of time it has proven to be a very good and stable coin.
It has very fast transfer speed and is a unique anonymous coin.

Supercoins technology works very well as it is. It forms a good base to build on to be used for real world use.
I think that developing both coins would create great cross promotional and marketing possibilities, creating a wider marketing base that will help create much more interest in both Diamond and Supercoin.

What do you guys think?

Only concerns I have is that who will be capable of understanding the coding and work on this coin. There would need to be someone or a group of very capable people to take the task over from the Developer. Who are able to do this?

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Unique Most Advanced Anonymous Trustless Multisig Technology on: September 26, 2014, 06:01:52 AM

The Dev's have gone. I have my doubts that they even read the posts here, or even if they can read English.

It's all seems a waste now.

This coin had the potential to be trading with massive price gains, and superior usability possibilities.

Is what doesn't fit is that the developers probably could of been well on their way to making themselves millionaires. They already have done alot of work. Why stop now?
None of this makes sense. There throwing it all away.

Now this thread is like a broken repetitive record. Becoming a waste of time.

KEEP PUSHING guys! Maybe dev will answer for all Your questions...

You shouldn't have to push for the dev to answer anything.

The reason I have asked this question below is for the simple reason - What happens if say the pizza guy down the road likes the sound of accepting supercoin?
He has little tech ability and wants a simple way of accepting payment what would he do?

The question is -

Using supercoin in the real world is fundamental to its existence.

Can someone please explain to me -
If someone had a business and wanted to implement accepting supercoin as a payment

method, how would it be done?

Or if it can't be done yet -  What plans are there for this to be done?

Thank you.
Looking forward to a reply.

And is what I am leading to is that there should be easy to follow instructions on the supercoin website that the pizza guy or anyone can follow to set up accepting payment.

@fuze0000 - It's good that PHIRECORE is accepting supercoin but they look like a computer tech place that can understand what to do.
@gnarl - coinpayments.net sounds good but I don't understand how they work yet.

Is all I'm saying is there should be easy to follow instructions, that is easily accessible, very easy to implement whatever the method.
If new software needs to be developed that will allow accepting supercoin supereasy, then put it on the todo list.

I am glad the community is taking interest in this simple but fundamental question.
Having this in place will create a more solid foundation that will allow for far greater growth.

Good morning to all.

What's today on the "menu"?

Where do we start from?

Hi Grgechkapitalac,

Well I'm waiting for an answer to this question below. And I think gnarl and michaelsss would like to know an answer. Xtent may also be interested.
And if there is anyone else out there that would like to know please come forward.
It's only a simple question that isn't hard at all to answer.

The major problem is that the developer/developers are gone. They must be seeing what has been happening but they haven't done anything.
Whatever work is done by others to advance this coin, they need to be in good contact with the developers.
This behavior by the developers is very strange to say the least. Why don't they start to organize the way forward?

169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 16, 2014, 03:46:29 AM

supercointeam can you please leave this forum and detach yourself from any management of this coin.
Your posts have no value and is worse than any kind of fud because of your position as a leader.
If you want to be apart of the group under a non leadership name that's fine. But please discontinue your role as team leader.
Everyone of your posts are harming the coin.

Common sense has to question if he is driving the price down on purpose, because its hard to imagine anyone being so ignorant as to continue doing things the way he is. Whether on purpose or not, the community should demand that supercointeam leaves his position and is replaced by someone who is far more capable and able to lead this coin.

For anyone who maybe confused as to what the problem is, consider what has occurred over the resent period of time.

Its simply strong leadership with the ability to communicate.
Its not what people are asking for, Its his inability to reply, in any kind of meaningful, cohesive way.
Any new thing like this needs support, and there is simply no support.

The technical attributes to this coin are amazing, but there is no support or leadership.

I think it's pointless to go ahead with anything until this problem is fixed.

170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 15, 2014, 06:40:35 AM

After reading the first post in ages from supercointeam you are again proving that you have no idea what you are doing.

Your repetitive inability to understand anything put to you is mind numbing. You seem to be completely detached from reality.

supercointeam has said -
"It's hard to deal with a community super focused on market prices than product potentials. It's your job to learn and sell this product others not dev team only! We give you priceless unique altcoin that you can proud of. Don't listen those uncertainty sellers."

My answer -
Its  mostly your job and its your job to get a team together to do this. If your not setting an example and leading the way as a leader why should anyone else bother?

Product potentials is most important and you are not providing anything, and you have ignored other peoples request for what is occurring in this area, me being one of them.
( One of my considerations was, - what software is available that is being developed, or still needs to be developed that would enable merchants to accept supercoin, as this is fundemental for use of supercoin, this coin has to be integrated into real world use ).

supercointeam has said -
"you can help by donating to the Supercoin donation wallet in OP... we did before very successful promo actions we can learn how to promo and win."

My answer -
Your endless requests for donations is really annoying and ridiculous in light of what is currently being discussed here.
However,
If you showed proper leadership.
If you gave proper responses that was relevant to what is being asked.
If you was moving forward with a good cohesive plan and building a good core team.
Then people would want to help. but asking people to donate in this current climate is absurd madness.

supercointeam has said -
"We can have a better community and win."

My answer -
Just in case you haven't noticed the community is crumbling around you. If you had been doing your job properly you would have an amazing community. Many good people have turned on you that would be helping you because of your inability to act as a responsible leader. You have placed yourself in a leadership position and you are not even close to performing this task.

Sorry supercointeam but I don't know why you have "team" attached to your title. Or "supercoin" for that matter, because you have not shown that you are a team leader of supercoin.

There is just NO TRUST in supercointeam to be a team leader. Sorry supercointeam but you need help, and you need alot of it. If you can't accept this and organize it get out now.

PLEASE SUPERCOIN DEV, I hate to talk negatively about anyone but can you please replace supercointeam as he really doesn't have a clue what he is doing. Much of your hard work is going to waste because of him. And/Or get people on board to help him. I cannot rely on him, and this community cannot rely on him. He has become the single most destructive part of this coin.

You yourself should be more active with the community to show leadership which will create confidence. If you are limited in time get a team that can, and at least show up from time to time to be part of it all.

Sorry about this post but some things need to be said. If I didn't see the potential I wouldn't care. If I didn't care I wouldn't be here.

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 13, 2014, 11:17:20 AM
Supercointeam and Supercoindev,

I think that you are good coders and are probably very competent in that area of expertise. Good on you, and well done for that.

Other than that, I don't think you have an idea what you are doing.
You don't answer peoples questions in a cohesive way. It's not that you have to agree with them, your just sounding like someone that hasn't been around and hasn't a clue how to deal with people and can't create confidence in yourself and are really bad business people, and your communication skills are miserable.

I don't see any proof that you are actually doing anything for the coin at the moment unless you are doing something in secret.

You think your tech will do everything for you now, and you are arrogant to people who have supported you.

This coin means nothing without trust in yourselves and you are not showing it in anyway.

There is no buying support for this coin anymore, and if things go on the current path this coin soon won't exist.

Sorry but this is what I am seeing at the moment, and I hope you have a good look at yourselves. I'm seeing no growth in the core team, development in expansion in getting the coin actually used.

I only wish you could prove me wrong, but sensibility from watching past history would suggest that you won't be able to.
I have no confidence that you will be even able to answer this post in any kind of meaningful way, that will have any kind of relevance to what I am saying.

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 13, 2014, 10:00:14 AM
Supercointeam or Supercoindev,

I would like to know whether there are programs for merchants to use, or being developed, so that they can accept supercoin easily as a payment method and/or an easy conversion to bitcoin so that this coin can be used in the real world and gain adoption?
One of the main points of having a cryptocurrency is to use it as a means of exchange, and used in as many places as possible.
What is being done about the expansion and adoption of Supercoin?

173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 11, 2014, 01:26:13 PM
Check out @PHIRECORE's Tweet: https://twitter.com/PHIRECORE/status/510045288955150336  Supercointeam & SupercoinDev have been requested to contact CryptoCobain & Kristov Atlas over Twitter so we all know they made a real attempt to prove to the world they're the best and the most skilled cryptocurrency Devs around.  I would suggest they use #supercoin in a public tweet when contacting them so we all know they made a serious effort.

It's pretty important to note that CryptoCobain & Kristov Atlas are WAITING FOR SUPERCOIN TEAM TO CONTECT THEM!.
They will not contact us! I got the feeling that the Super Team is waiting for the guys to get in contact, that probably will not happen. We want sth from them so please contact them asap! Thx Smiley

It seems that supercoin team are quite often waiting for something to happen, and not making things happen themselves.
This supercointeam needs to be a cohesive team of people working together for the betterment of this coin in as many ways as possible. Comes across as one person though.
And this causes to much pressure on a single person if there is a minimal team.
A core team should grow with selected people to enhance the scope of supercoin, with quick development on any key issues.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 10, 2014, 02:03:50 PM

Supercointeam and dev, you really have to listen to the community and create the trust that is needed to make this a success.
Don't wait or you risk that yourselves and this coin will be left behind.
Now things are stable things need to be moved forward, trust as well as continued development.

175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 09, 2014, 05:48:34 AM
Well I got 1/2 of it back. I sent 20k to mintpal and it was there a week later. But I still had over 20k in  "generated and not accepted". Its gone, I dont want to spend anymore time on it. Last thing I want to do is get a bad name in the community, because I have VERY high integrity and honor, my reputation in the community is worth more than anything. So ill call it a loss and move on. Just wanted to warn others and ruin superteams day.

Vagasguy, sorry about your lose of coins, I think I remember you said you sent them to the exchange when you saw that problems were occurring.
This unfortunately from what I have learned is the worst time to send any coins, when things are vulnerable.
Try and make sure you get a definitive answer from the exchange about the transaction as the problem may be with them, before you give up on the coins you lost. Sometimes they can be frustrating to deal with and can take to long to resolve issues.
When people first was expressing problems they were having with suppercoin I stopped using my wallet. I learned this from problems with other coins, I suppose we all learn from past problems whats best and incorporate it into what we do.
Having the coins in your wallet is the most secure, and having them on an exchange is least secure, and backing up from time to time is always helpful. In this instance one of my earlier back up wallets worked better than my latest backup. I'm not technically into this but just try to learn as I go. Mistakes happen. It is high risk stuff.
It was good to here you were into this coin being from Vagas I thought could only help increase the awareness of the coin. I hope you stay on board.

I just informed & alerted again cryptsy about upgrade and asked if anything else we can do. We dont know much from them yet.

Unfortunately cryptsy take ages to sort out problems, not long ago I had to wait 3 weeks for some coins I sent there for another coin.
They really are pathetically slow although they have always sorted the problems out.

I can finally report that I have been able to use the supersend successfully.
Sent a few coins to bittrex, it withdrew double coins plus fee, half of coins returned very quickly then in about 1 min coins received at bittrex.

I had trouble in the past. I think it was because I didn't fully open the wallet. You have to open it and untick the box which says for minting only.
I don't recall this was explained in the instructions. This should be made clear so people know what to do. Also it would be good that supersend could be performed without opening the wallet. Can this be incorporated into a later wallet?

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 06, 2014, 01:33:18 PM
Looks like i have my SUPER back and my wallet is staking again Smiley

I did use an old wallet.dat (2 months old) and that one works!

Newer wallet.dat's (back-up's) didn't...

Thanks for the advice and i hope others will get their SUPER back too!

Ps. don't forget to make back-up's frequently  Smiley

An older backup wallet worked best for me to.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] Mandatory Upgrade V.3.1.1 or V.1.6.1 on: September 05, 2014, 12:56:12 PM
So, i`ve just tried to send with SuperSend ticked, some supercoin between 2 wallets I got, after I hit send, green S is turning to yellow S for about 1 or 2 min, then it`s turning to green S again, but nothing is sent or recieve, nothing happens.

Though, I`ve tried exactly the same thing with mammoth coin and everything worked smoothly.

Why is that?

Can you post here what is in the .log file about that transaction so the devs can check when they will be online.

open with text editor like PsPad or similar one debug.log file in your appdata/supercoin folder

The problem was solved. The coins arrived to destination, it took a little longer than mamm, but that doesn`t bother me!
Thanks anyway, exemplaar for trying to help me! :*

edit: I was wrong! the coins that arrived are the coins wich i sent without supersend, after i`ve tried and didn`t worked with supersend.
So i`ve tried again to send with supersend, and i got the same result, nothing happens!
I`ve installed pspad and opened the debug.log file, but i don`t know what to copy/paste here so the devs can check. Will you be so kind to tell me please? thx

I have also had the same problem, I haven't tried recently because of all the problems, but soon I will try again, but up till now I have never been able to use supersend, the way you have described it is exactly what has occurred when I have tried. I know most others have used it successfully. I don't know yet what the problem is.

Shouldn't the developers be here personally sorting this out?
