Hello to all,
First I just like to say that I think Supercoin is a great coin with enormous potential. I am hoping to such an extent that all the trading done now will just look like a flat line on a future trading graph.
The combination of speed and anonymity is I think essential for use in the real world where people will choose over other coins as a means of transfer.
Security, Anonymity and Speed (S.A.S) are important things for a coins developers to aspire to create within the framework of a monetary transfer system. And having the anonymity feature decentralized like the coins are themselves decentralized is of major importance and needed as part of the make up of such a system. Speed is also just such an important requirement. Supercoin looks to be bringing all these things to the table as part of the phase II release.
Now forgetting about the technical side of Supercoin for a moment, I also think, This whole connection with Mammothcoin seems like a needless thing and I believe doesn't enhance Suppercoins cause but causes problems. I think Mammothcoin is also a ridiculous name for monetary value and connection just to the name is enough to cause problems for Supercoin. Especially with the connection within the development phase.
Anyway, this is just what I think. My 2 cents worth so to speak.

Withdrew .1 DMD from Crypsy to my wallet it went fine. Four minutes later I withdrew 200 DMD from Cryptsy and it did not hit my wallet. Cryptsy is using different wallets on different block chain or something fishy is going on.

I would agree with you, as I have sent 4 small test transactions to cryptsy one each day and nothing has turned up in my diamond account with them. They seem to be very slow to get on top of this problem. There is no outgoing information from them about what they are doing. We need continuous updates about what they are doing, or maybe they have done nothing, how do we know?

Does anyone know whats happening with cryptsy and if coins can be deposited or withdrawn from there?

Hello cryptonit,
My wallet is still staying synced with no problems but coins that I sent still haven't arrived at cryptsy. What can be done? Should I generate a new address there and try again? Please explain what needs to be done.
cryptsy does the only right thing at this moment they dont sync their exchange with their wallet until everything is sorted so ur coins there but not visible at exchange The second lot of coins I sent had no confirmations and a question mark. And now my wallet seems frozen as it opens fine and has many connections but does nothing.

The second deposit that I made which was only a while ago has no confirmations and a question mark. So what does this all mean?
|
|
|
Cryptsy withdrawals work. I've just checked it. I haven't checked deposits, but Cryptsy informs that : Deposits will continue to post for the old addresses, but you should generate a new address for faster deposit processing. This might have something to do with slow processing time. With old address and new address the diamond coins are still not depositing into cryptsy. There still seems to be a problem with them.

Hello, anyone that can help
After downloading the blockchain+data file and replacing relevant files and restarting the wallet it seems to be in sinc and working fine. However I tried sending a few coins to cryptsy as a test and they are not getting there, the wallet says over 50 confirmations but no coins at cryptsy. Does anyone know what is happening, why the coins aren't making it to cryptsy?
check if transaction id is visible here http://diamond.danbo.bg:2750/chain/Diamondif not u are on wrong chain please update us if coins arrived a cryptsy so its ckear they on right chain too I checked the transaction id and found a match. It was there with the amount of coins I sent. The coins still haven't turned up at cryptsy with over 150 confirmations on my wallet. Nobody should be trying to send money into Cryptsy right now. There was previous claims by cryptonit that cryptsy was on danbi's chain, but as you've noticed, they are not. In your case, your money will show up when Cryptsy gets on danbi's chain. Maybe it already has? But in any case Cryptsy is not going to be happy when they learn the bug is not fixed yet. Is someone contacting cryptsy and sorting things out with them so people can start using the exchange again?

So do we download the blockchain+data file from OP, and replace?
If you are on the wrong fork... YES. I can't even open the wallet with the "Assertion failed" error. Does that mean i'm on the wrong fork?

I'm getting this error upon closing and restarting diamondd now. Maybe this has something to do with the chain fork. Is this the place to go for tech support? diamondd: kernel.cpp:410: unsigned int GetStakeModifierChecksum(const CBlockIndex*): Assertion `pindex->pprev || pindex->GetBlockHash() == (!fTestNet ? hashGenesisBlock : hashGenesisBlockTestNet)' failed.
Can someone please help. I opened my wallet earlier today without any problems. A little while ago I opened wallet and it would not sinc. I closed and re-opened the wallet and I now have the same problem as above that jhed had. I have the latest wallet and all was good till half an hour ago. What can I do to fix the problem? Thanks

Hi Dev's and Everyone,
Just like to say that diamond is looking good after much work by the Dev's.
Once the coin is established and working the way it is intended then things need to be addressed with respect to its usability. It has to be easily transferable for goods and services for it to be any kind of serious coin. Or at least have the software to make it instantly transferable at the point of sale for the most accepted coin at the time, (bitcoin at this point in time) to be able to access the greatest market share.
Without it being able to be widely usable for its intended purpose then its just numbers floating from place to place.
Kind Regards.

About the new wallet.
1- If we download and start the new wallet will the re-syncing be automatic and write over the relevant files?
2- If we use the Blockchain download data, do we just delete that existing same file and replace with download file?
Thanks
u need to remove old blockchain file and resync from network or overwrite with blockchain we provide as download so 1 NO 2 YES Thanks I have downloaded the file, the second one "mega.co.nz" downloaded is quite fast. I find it contains 4 seperate files, so I will delete those matching existing files and replace with the new ones. Thanks again.

Another question Can another wallet of a different coin be open at same time as diamond wallet, also can another wallet of a different coin be minting at the same time.
if u look my sig u see im mostly investor in pos coins and once a week i have my mint day and open them all at same time and enjoy watch incoming minting transactions and leave em running until mint message frequency reduces so short answer yes u can have multiple wallets open for minting on same pc but not multiple wallets of the same coin...... (which make no sence (advantage) at diamond POS implementation anyway) Great, thanks for the help cryptonit.

Takes around 3 1/2 to 4 hours for them to get the green tick..
200 confirms should be around 200 minutes...... I haven't been measuring the time exactly to the minute so yer probably like your saying around 200 minutes. I have started minting, and have a question. Minting seems to be going well, although takes quite awhile. Does it matter to turn off wallet during minting? Will it effect the minting coins or anything else? I will probably have to turn computer off before coins finish minting. Will this cause any problems?
Thanks for advice.
with finish minting u mean until a minted block mature with 200 confirms? u dont need to keep wallet open for that confirms done by the network ur wallet is not involved in that Hi cryptonit Yes, the time while it is going through the confirmation process, as it can take a few hours to go through all the confirmations. Well thats good at least I can open and close it without any problems. I can report that minting is going well. I have had 4 lots confirmed and 1 "?"unconfirmed. Takes around 3 1/2 to 4 hours for them to get the green tick.. Thanks for the help
