121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Criminals got balls because no COP or law to tackle them on: November 06, 2019, 09:26:57 AM
We need that regulation badly, with regulation every new project developers must go through verifications and this can actually create FEAR in dubious developer's mind, scammers need to go, how far can we safe ourselves with research when scammers are getting more smarter? there will come a time when our research won't be able to safe us

Agree that cryptocurrency requires government regulation because if there is no penalty for scammers, there will continue to be fraud on behalf of the sale of tokens. With regulation, investor confidence will increase and the public will be interested in investing
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Centrality" for decentralization? on: November 05, 2019, 10:36:53 AM

Heard of the project "Centrality" from NZ? They have a decent team and website (https://centrality.ai/).

But isn't it weird to call yourself centrality if blockchain is all about achieving decentralization?

Bad marketing Smiley and on that note: can someone explain to me why this project is supposed to be useful, given that we already have Ethereum and other Dapp blockchains?

Never heard of a centrality project but if the project originated from NZ, in my opinion it would be interesting. NZ regulations are quite strict and if a project sells on behalf of a company with a home base in NZ that means the company is legit. Maybe the marketing isn't good enough so many people haven't heard about this project
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 05, 2019, 10:32:24 AM
This is the reality nowadays, but I don't know if you agree or not.

As what I have observed since last year, lots of ICO investors are more excited and making some noise when a crypto startup announced that they will be listed in some exchanges.

I have browsed a lot of Telegram groups coming from various ICOs, IEOs and other forms of token sales. When they announce their partnership with a "XXX" company or they have launched their v2.0 of their product, it seems that the community are kind of less impressed and not excited about that.

Last year, there's an ICO where until now, they haven't listed in an exchange as they focused more on product development. It's like almost 2 years and they haven't listed their token yet in exchanges but they only give us a quarterly report on what they're doing with the product. It results for most investors to become impatient and demand their money back or getting listed to exchanges at least.

This is what I've been observing for now, the behavior of most investors who are expecting their returns or gains after the ICO is complete. What do you say guys? Agree with this or not?

In my opinion, large exchangers will be in demand by investors because they provide large liquidity making it easier for them to carry out buying and selling transactions. Coins that are listed in large exchangers for investors will look legit because it is not easy listing in large exchangers because it is through strict verification
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: November 05, 2019, 10:28:12 AM
There are many promising altcoins in the market today. Its best if you di your own research and invest into an altcoin you believe in; that way, you can be responsible for the decision you made and optimistic that you made the right decision. Keep BTC and ETH close though. They've been performing very well since the start of it all.

Agree that we have to do some research before deciding to invest in altcoin. I think the good altcoin collected is altcoin which is in the top 50 because it has a large daily transaction and one of my favorites is Tron
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: November 01, 2019, 01:15:37 AM
All the talks this week are all about China launching its own coin, they can easily do that because China's main man Xi Jinping is the one who wants China to create one, while Facebook's Libra coin is having a hard time to convince the Congress to let them launch Libra Coin,

It's different between the two coins, one will launch easily while the other is having a hard time with the regulator
On a positive note, I think China's plan will be considered of those who are opposing Facebook plans to launch their coin but of course, it
will be highly regulated compared to China's coin who will be under the supervision of China's Central bank.

What's your thought on this?

China has a different political system from America so that the Chinese government is more free to carry out movements in any field. Libra as a company in America must comply with American regulations and this makes Libra coin not as fast as the Chinese government in launching coins
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between altcoin and bitcoin ?? on: November 01, 2019, 01:12:08 AM
I am a Newbie member, and my knowledge about this is still very low
What is the difference between Bitcoin and altcoin in more detail Huh
thanks admin

Coins other than bitcoin are called altcoin because bitcoin is the main currency in the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin is the first choice because bitcoin is a pioneer in the field of cryptocurrency besides bitcoin is a coin that has the largest market cap value
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: November 01, 2019, 01:08:47 AM
yes the fact is like that, in this crypto industry there is no full guarantee for you. Even in traditional investment, nothing guarantees you profit. There will be no certainty in future income, and if a project claims their tokens will become more and more expensive over time, it is very likely that they are lying. Of course, that does not mean that they are wrong, however, ensuring that everyone in the inevitable benefit is not responsible, to say the least. If you see a project that claims that your profits will grow tenfold in just six months, it's far more likely to be a good old Ponzi scheme than it really is, as seen in BitConnect.
So, no matter how this promise actually looks, if you see that the project offers you sky-high profits for literally no effort, it probably means that they want to make that profit out of you.

I agree that we should not be tempted by the big bonus that will be given. Large bonuses can also result in prices falling when the initial listing and not also guarantee projects that provide large bonuses are legitimate projects
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: October 31, 2019, 10:04:25 AM
Think it's 50/50. What about you?
100% altcoin season will come. Altcoin holders are too much to expect for nothing. In other words, it is impossible for the whole market to be the only BTC, we just need to give it some time to recover, then the altcoins will grow. In the next days BTC will increase due to halving and this increase will have an impact on altcoins or more quickly.

For people who don't have patience, they will sell their altcoins cheaply but I think altseason will still come and just wait for time. The current condition might be an opportunity to buy solid altcoin at a cheap price and hold it for the long term
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 31, 2019, 10:00:42 AM
What you think more profit, participate in IEO or wait after IEO and buy the token from exchanges?
It is undeniable that IEO currently provides more benefits than ICO. I myself have not heard about the benefits of ICO for 1 year. where people actually complain about the huge losses from ICO investments. so IEO is definitely better than ICO. try investing in Binance when there is an IEO. first I got a big advantage on IEO Binance

In my opinion, not all IEOs are profitable. IEO which comes from several small exchangers sometimes brings losses for investors. IEO is indeed a good thing because it can reduce scams in the cryptocurrency market, but you should participate in IEO organized by large exchangers
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't let Margin Trading make you poor! on: October 31, 2019, 09:57:16 AM
So Binance introduced margin trading up to x125! Great for some, horrible for most. Why? Because this is an open market and people without experience can actually go ahead and borrow Bitcoin without knowing half of what's going on.

For that reason, I wrote an article to give a good introduction to margin trading, Bitcoin lending, as well as Bitcoin borrowing (if you wanna make some passive income). It's by no means that the best post on the topic, but it does give a really good overview.

You can read it here and decide if going down the margin road is the best thing you can do: https://paybis.com/blog/bitcoin-lending/

Margin trading, for some traders who have experienced using it might be profitable but for traders who have no experience, this will make the losses suffered even greater. Margin provides an opportunity to trade with little funds but big results but the risk is greater. For short-term traders, this is profitable.

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: stick to the same option or switch to another option? on: October 01, 2019, 01:32:09 PM
Is crypto included in the ponzi scheme to get rich quickly?
in most cases I have observed why people rush to get short profits, this is not a good way. I mean the decisions they make are not based on common sense.

This is not what you think, if you think that crypto can become rich overnight, you don't need to bother avoiding investment risks. You only need to focus on crypto investments that you think can make you rich.

but unfortunately the market says it's different, there is no way to get quick profits & all you have to do is how you can survive in this market. between a fixed choice with the same option or switch with another option.

I don't think there is anything wrong with quick profit because basically we at crypto are looking for profit. Indeed investing in the long run is a good choice but seeing sometimes extreme price changes, I think securing profit is a safe choice
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: October 01, 2019, 01:28:59 PM
First do not put all that money in one coin. Don’t pick up an ICO, because of 90% of all startups fail. Don’t pick up an utility token which are mostly designed to pay tiny fees, because of this reason they are sharply overvalued. I always make safe investment and put my money in the most safer coin. Bitcoin is the most reliable and safe coin, put 50% of that money there. after that, I would pick up ones that target mass adoption and have a credible plans to get and won't disappear in the coming years. here would be a lot of options, but i can tell you what I purchased after researching a lot. I put my money into Monero, Ripple, ETH and IOTA. finally do your research, look around and buy what you believe in.

It's not recommended to put all the eggs we have in one basket. Too risky because if the price falls, the value of our portfolio will burn. The current choice that in my opinion is safe is a coin that is in the top 50 because it has liquidity and a large daily transaction volume
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find scam coins on: October 01, 2019, 01:25:00 PM
Blame the investors. They do not want to learn,,, say to them about profit and potential and they already have $$ signs in their eyes. You do not need to find scam coins. Assume they are all scams. It is the non-scam coin that is incredibly difficult to find,,, and those who can find it will not be shilling about it for sure.
Not really hard for me if you are just not lazy to do some research about the project before investing and not just invest because they show you digits that you can earn.

It is important that when you invest in a project you trust it 100% because if not then you have a doubt about that project and you will only have a doubt because you see something wrong about the project then just ignore it.

"its better to waste time on researching than to waste money on a scam project."

It's better to do research before investing. If we don't want to do research, more we invest in tokens or coins that have already been traded on the market and in my opinion this is one of the safe choices as long as we invest in coins that already have a product.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the future ?? on: October 01, 2019, 01:21:32 PM
I don't think bitcoin will die, but also I am not 100% sure it is the future. I think it will be used for large payments, it's a slow, heavy online gold. I think something else will be used for normal payments unless lightening is somehow amazing.
I agree, Bitcoin will become the gold of the cryptocurrency market but it will never become a means of payment. Bitcoin is too slow and transaction fees are too high, the future needs a reputable, stable and fast currency.

Agree, it's hard to make bitcoin a currency because there are so few total supplies. I think that in the future bitcoin will become a digital asset like gold because with the price being more expensive, people will prefer to invest in bitcoin because of its practicality and also its security
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: September 30, 2019, 08:21:31 AM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

You are very correct, on a closer look, the high spread of scammers into the ICO project does not only affects the bounty hunters but the investors alike.
I no longer appreciate my high balance on the spreadsheet until I exchange it, some project will give you high balance with no where to sell the coin.

Having lots of coins or tokens is indeed not necessarily of great value because the price of tokens continues to fall. Many bounty hunters are disappointed with token prices below ICO or IEO prices because in addition to harming investors, bounty hunters also feel cheated by prices that do not match expectations
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin price recovery on: September 30, 2019, 08:18:15 AM
The title says it all — altcoin price recovery is underway. Personally, i would be satisfied if prices go back to where they were a few days ago, but a rally that would take them higher wouldn't hurt, either.

What are your thoughts and expectations?

https://coinmarketcap.com/

As I see altcoins are not in the recovery stage right now, if they do rise it's obvious that they are just a short-term pump to attract investors, but if you look at potential altcoins like Eos, Eth, Neo, Xem, Trx, Waves, ETC are still in the red stage so it is best to do so now to select potential coins that have fallen in price right now and hold them up until their market price rises again.

If we look at the value of market cap and also the dominance of bitcoin, in my opinion altseason is still not going to happen in the near future. But there is also a chance the altseason will occur because of the dominance of bitcoin which is already above 60% and I think the dominance of bitcoin will continue to fall because the market is not possible to depend on only one coin that is bitcoin
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A quick disturbing question on: September 30, 2019, 08:11:54 AM
Hi fellas i am back again to throw a question at you all, this time i want to know exactly what will happen to coins and tokens that are listed on exchanges with no volume or too low volume after market start recovering, or if altcoins start surging in value, will these exchanges automatically have volumes due to the market surge or they will stay the same Huh?thanks

Usually coins listed on small exchangers do not have large transaction volumes but if the project is good and has a product, I think it will have a chance to increase the price. There are several examples where a good project starts from a small exchanger and gets a free listing on a large exchanger because it has a large community
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Altcoins can get you Rekt on: September 30, 2019, 08:07:31 AM
But other side holding altcoin could take many profit with pump price, many altcoin could raised more than 100% after one year listing on exchange market. Many altcoin have success with keep holding in long time.

Depending on the altcoin, if altcoin has a good product and is also traded in large exchangers, I think it's reasonable because of the large liquidity. Many altcoins die because they don't have a product or are left by the developer team
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 29, 2019, 01:32:27 AM
one of the most shaddy of fraud ico project is ico profiles of linkedIn profiles wont match and nt real that itself proves it is something suspicious
analyzing social media and team profiles is the most effective way to find out whether the development team is fake or not. Usually fraudsters use new accounts with minimal activity, or other people's accounts that have nothing to do with the project they are making.
I also strongly agree with OP's presentation. Although not a necessity, transparency is needed by investors and supporting participants to know the project more deeply. If those questions bother them, even get banned, something must be wrong.
