781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why shouldn’t we be concerned? on: June 04, 2018, 09:50:57 AM
Why shouldn’t we be concerned? Seems like everyone on here is extremely confident will see a bounce back to the December highs and then surpass them, but this dip/crash is now 5 months long. So I’m curious as to why so many of you are confident?

Cryptomarket still not mature yet and thats why market always high fluctuation. I am confident on cryptomarket because right now investment bank like goldman sachs start to confident on crypto market too.
782  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - Can it boost or break a countries economy? on: June 04, 2018, 09:47:18 AM
Most countries are in full control of their own monetary policies and financial systems. If a alternative currency is introduced, would this improve or reduce the efficiency of a country?

Will this remove their control or would it be just another payment option, like PayPal?

Why are governments so scared of Bitcoin, if they can regulate it's use. The first defensive tool seem to be banning the technology, which in my opinion should be the last resort. Should they not analyse the threat based on proper research and public participation. < like they did in Canada > and then make harsh decisions like this?

Why are they ignoring the advantages that this technology might bring and implement extreme precautions as a primary action?

Is Bitcoin really such a big threat to them or are they just misinformed on purpose? < influenced externally by people with hidden agendas >

Let's discuss this please.

Many government and central banks ban bitcoin because they can not control bitcoin supply. As we know that central banks control the money supply and creating inflation. If bitcoin monetary system implemented, I am believe inflation on the country can reduced because central banks can not print money like they want and creating healthy growth
783  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin become a long-term trusted store of value? on: June 04, 2018, 09:44:16 AM
Whether one should invest in bitcoin or not depends on whether you think Bitcoin will become a long-term trusted store of value.
If it does become a long-term trusted store of value, BTC should trade around $2,000,000 a coin (depending on how many coins are lost and are actually in circulation). That is over 100x the price of where BTC is today.
If BTC does not become a long-term trusted store of value, its likely price will be close to zero (unless it becomes a "cool" collectible... which is a possibility).
So if you think BTC has a 10% chance of becoming a long-term trusted store of value, it is a good investment with a nice expected return. It is still very risky but professional investors should invest some small portion of their portfolio in this case.

Bitcoin is long term investment and thats is one reasong bitcoin price reach $19k months ago. Many analysis from reputable investment firm predicting that bitcoin price can reach $25k end this year and reach $250k on 2023. Hope that prediction happen because will bring cryptomarket more mature and bigger
784  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: June 04, 2018, 09:41:11 AM
The reason many peoples hold bitcoin even the price drop is becasue bitcoin is long term investment. I am believe that bitcoin or cryptocurrency need time years before the market more mature and bigger. I am believe when market more mature, bitcoin will rising the price and reach like many analysis predicted
785  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: June 04, 2018, 09:38:12 AM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/2018-mature-crypto-market-will-draw-more-investment-see-less-volatility-analyst-says

Obviously as an investor you understand there are risks but out of all the exchanges out there, i can think of 2-3 that I would personally trust with my money and in my case we are only talking about thousands, imagine a big player with millions using etherdelta or some other retarded exchange, no way that will ever happen. Even big exchanges like bittrex, not long ago, they fucked up and made everyone wait months and months to get your account enabled or verified. Why would any big player invest in crypto when the risk is so huge, there is literally zero safety, any exchange can run away with your money and you can barely do anything.

Goldman sachs is reputable financial instititution and they just bought poloniex, one of biggest exchanger. I think big investor will start step by step in crypto market and when regulation from government ready, they will flooding their capital in cryptomarket
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: June 01, 2018, 06:25:50 AM
I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!

I think I am believe on that ICO rating. They gave rating must be because they already studied about that ICO and the project and learning about whitepapers. Maybe some overated on rating and some dont but its needed to guide us to pick good ICO
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: June 01, 2018, 06:22:54 AM
There is no reason to panic. This is a normal correction after rapid growth. Most importantly dont sell during this period. But we can buy some promising altcoins at low prices.

Indeed, we should not panic in market drop like what happen right now. Market always volatile with high fluctuation and its normal. Positive way is we can buying some altcoin with lower price.
Market will always recover and i am believe that cryptocurrency market will be bigger in the future because investment banks start to interesting on cryptomarket
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: June 01, 2018, 06:19:20 AM
People always greed.
Yes, I am one of them.
Recently, i lost some of my bitcon because i want more instead of holding bitcoin. so i buy altcoin but not top 10 altcoin.
Would you like to share your experience?
Beside, i know that airdrop is good way to gain profit.
What do you think DeepOnion airdrop? It seems that they got a very good community.

Its happen to me too and i am believe that happen on others. I am investing my money on some altcoin because i think the movement more profitable than bitcoin but that altcoin wont rise the price, so i am better cutting my loss
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunting - work or a hobby? on: June 01, 2018, 06:13:42 AM
We can make money from bounty campaign and i think that can be called work. Join in bounty campaign and do it like a job is good option because we can earn free token/coin. In cryptocurrency world, many opportunity we can reach and earn some extra money
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: May 31, 2018, 12:11:23 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

I think many altcoin have potential in the future. Indeed many altcoin not continue their project but many project continue faster and developing new feature. Like waves, right now waves developing that they can use smart contract
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: May 31, 2018, 12:02:35 PM
Since most of the alt coins are traded with BTC or ETH. SO I think altcoins prie are dependent on the price of this two.
What is your opinion please share.

I think many altcoin depending on Bitcoin price. As we know that altcoin price based on bitcoin satoshi and thats why altcoin price depending on bitcoin versus US dollar. If bitcoin price going up, that bring altcoin price increasing too
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS at $36 by the end of July on: May 31, 2018, 11:59:24 AM
I think that can be happen. EOS already start their mainnet and thats make EOS have their own blockchain. Anything can happen in cryptocurrency market and I think its good investment if we have some EOS coin and many prediction by McAfee happen
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can market go down now? on: May 29, 2018, 03:18:16 AM
Hey what do you think, can scenario of January repeat? I mean can everything suddenly fall again?

It happen now. Mostly crypto in market down the price. Its hard to see but anything can happen in any market. The bright side is we can buy good coin/token with lower price and gain some profits when market recovery
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to ignore scam icos ? on: May 29, 2018, 03:15:13 AM
icos are good way to invest but there so many scam as well how to recognise the scam icos ?

I think its hard to identify ICO scam or not. We know scam after end sale. If we want to identify scam ICO we can reading on their whitepaper or tracking their team but acctually its hard to do. Better join on ICO that have advisor already know in cryptocurrency market
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: May 28, 2018, 09:30:37 AM
Mostly I hold the coin. If we already join on bounty program, we must know that token/coin is good coin/token. I am better hold the reward as i hold coin that i buy with my own money
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo to surpass Eth on: May 28, 2018, 09:28:55 AM
Everyone keeps saying that neo will surpass eth.. how come then the price hasn't even gone over $100 :/

NEO price once over $100 before drop below it again. NEO is good and solid coin and maybe can surpass ethereum but i think to surpass ethereum it will take a long time and not in short time because ethereum used more platform than NEO
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can somebody steal your btc? on: May 28, 2018, 09:20:10 AM
Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

I think stealing can be happen but the most important thing we can do is keep our private key safe and not share it to anyone. I think its hard to steal our coin if we not share our private key because the server do not keeping back up
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bed news of Bitcoin on: May 28, 2018, 09:15:24 AM
I think old financial institution do not like bitcoin because bitcoin disrupting their bussiness. Imagine that bitcoin reducing transaction cost as currency and can be a good investment in the same time.
Warren Buffett have a banks bussiness and bitcoin will disrupting his investment and i think thats why the issuing that statement
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: May 28, 2018, 09:12:42 AM
not they do not believe. everyone who knows bitcoin with great results. they believe in bitcoin including the government. In my opinion. the government did not announce the existence of bitcoin. because there are rules that must be considered by a country.

Government will treat bitcoin as investment not as currency. Government wont issuing regulation about bitcoin as currency because they can not control the supply. With controlling the supply, government wish they can control the price
800  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin now the biggest bubble of all time? on: May 27, 2018, 07:50:56 AM
I dont believe that bitcoin is a buble. Bitcoin different with tulip mania buble because bitcoin have limited supply. Tulip mania can be worth because the emotion on market but not on bitcoin.
