101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: September 02, 2020, 06:20:07 AM
Yes, i think the success cryptocurrency surely takes some times to grow, why ? because that is what we call natural growth.
The coin that have high value shortly after its creation usually because hype only and the price will falling later.

most of project has the same goal now. sale, listed in the market, dump the price, abandoned the project, make a new one and do the same thing again with different team and identity. that's why some projects are called scam by most of investors. its price always falling after listed on the market. also, some of the projects really use the hype to scam some investors.
It is like building a foundation, just like what you have said if a coin have high value after its been out in the market it usually falls down quick, top cryptocurrency now goes through a roller coaster ride in terms of its price so i could say they really have built its foundation and that's why it is in the top cryptos now but trusting coins now is different than before because just like your example there they just make a project and after that they just repeat it, back in the days we dont have much projects as much as now so they really trusted some of the coins back then even if its price is low.

I agree that it takes a long time to build a product as well as a brand. If investors see the potential of a project, I think they will be willing to hold it in the long term. But many are impatient, so they sell their tokens or coins when the price is still cheap and miss the potential. Indeed there are many whose projects have stalled but if we look at the projects carefully, I think we will find potential projects
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: August 31, 2020, 08:15:57 AM
Maybe now is the right time for new potential projects to emerge but the world is still overshadowed by the economic crisis due to the covid pandemic. To choose a new project, you need vigilance and need in-depth analysis so you don't get caught up in a scam project. WFH may be the best alternative at the moment but not everyone can afford to work from home and most importantly maintain health protocols
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI on: August 31, 2020, 08:12:37 AM
Just an advice from me to you, do not invest in new YFI copycats popping up on daily basis due to the huge success of YFI. We all saw the surge with YFI price currently above 22,000$ which surpasses BTC price right now. This is causing a lot of FOMO and scammers are taking advantage to launch their own scam coins (YFI copycats). Examples are YFIE, YFIS which launched even without website or team information, yet people still FOMO to buy. Be careful please, just a peaceful advise.

With the skyrocketing price of YFI, many projects are copied and I agree we need to be careful. If you want to invest in YFI, it's better not to buy copycats because they are prone to pump and dumps.

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 20, 2019, 12:22:49 PM
I believe that now that the market is fluctuating, we should not panic. Bitcoin and alrcoin take a long time to stabilize and grow. This is a good time for us to buy altcoins because their prices are still very cheap. We should focus on altcoins in the top 50. I believe that holding these altcoins in the long run will bring us a lot of profits.
I also think so, but there are many altcoins that i hold are in the 200-300 coinmarketcap rank. Just waiting for the time until i get a lot of profit from the altcoin and hope that in 2020 altcoin will make a comeback like 2017

In my opinion, it's hard to repeat the 2017 moment even though it could have happened. I don't think we need to worry about the tokens or coins we hold, as long as the developer team is still actively communicating with investors and providing product developments, the coins still have a chance to rise in price
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 12:19:04 PM
In my opinion, HODL only applies when our investment price is below the purchase price so that we do not lose when selling it. Setting a target price is one way to avoid greed because HODLing a coin might not be forever and we should sell it when the price is in accordance with our target
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins will give in excess of profit in a growing market? on: November 20, 2019, 12:15:31 PM
Guys, let's try to figure out which altcoins can give a huge% growth when the entire cryptocurrency market flies to the moon. I have a friend who bought xem when it cost very very little and earned more than $ 100K on growth, I think that now there will be such coins that our pockets can make rich, you just need to know which projects have a chance, so let's offer each other options Smiley

It is difficult to predict which altcoin is able to provide large profits when the market conditions are not good. But I think there are some pretty good and prospective altcoins like EOS or Litecoin. Besides being traded in large exchangers, both coins have a large community
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 20, 2019, 12:10:28 PM
New upcoming projects are targeting 2020 either for good market season or because of the upcoming bitcoin halving, they want to avoid loses that is plaguing crypto space at all cost, even good projects of this year had hard time gathering needed fund and the lucky ones managed to reach softcap, what do you think about year 2020? will it be a very good year for IEO and bounty hunters?

I hope that 2020 is different and better compared to the previous year. With the halving moment of bitcoin in 2020, I hope the price of bitcoin can rise above $ 10k. With the rising price of bitcoin, it is hoped that investor confidence will recover and affect altcoin
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top Crypto for 2020 on: November 19, 2019, 12:55:14 PM
Well!! Did you know? 2019 is coming to an end, the cryptocurrency market is booming really well in the crypto space, as day by day the crypto is performing really well in the crypto space.

Several crypto experts predict that bitcoin will go up in the upcoming years and other cryptos like ripple, litecoin, ethereum and one of the top crypto for 2020 to invest.

What's your take on top crypto for 2020?

For 2020, I think the price of Bitcoin will increase. This was triggered by the halving which will occur next year. In addition, many experts predict that 2020 is a year of economic crisis so that there may be many investors who divert their investment into the cryptocurrency market
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 19, 2019, 12:52:04 PM
In the cryptocurrency market, there are more than 4000 types of crypto including bitcoin or altcoin. Among the many projects, it is not surprising if there are projects that are scam or die but not all coins die or scam. Examples are Bitcoin or ethreum, coins that have the largest market cap value and have also begun to be recognized as digital assets
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 19, 2019, 12:47:39 PM
A new record has been set with over 6,000 Bitcoin ATMs installed worldwide. Everyday, cryptocurrency achieves a unique milestone which further puts it in position for global adoption which is inevitable.
That was another milestone of the cryptocurrency adoption and development! in my country there was only 2 operational cryptocurrency ATM's today one in a hotel and other one was in a Bank headquarters, But there's a lot of store that offering OTC transactions nationwide, I must say that our government recognize cryptocurrency as another revolutionized form of financial system that can drive financial inclusion in my country. I also believe that cryptocurrency can change our whooping $29.1 Billion dollars overseas remittance industry.

As far as I know there is no Bitcoin ATM in my country and in my opinion your government is quite responsive to the development of cryptocurrency. By granting permission for a Bitcoin ATM, this means that the country provides alternatives to its citizens to invest or make transactions as they wish
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is more scary... on: November 13, 2019, 06:30:32 AM
I am also afraid that the price will experience a dump, because I have lost as much as 75% of assets and took a long time to recover. I also will not buy altcoin if the price is above

All coins must have been dumped, but some have risen and the price has recovered and some have been unable to get up and recover. Even though a token is dumped in the market which causes the price to fall, if the developer team is committed to continuing to produce good products, I think investors will still be interested and believe because the coins are not manipulating
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: November 13, 2019, 06:27:02 AM
Are coins and tokens that have good value like 0.02 or even 0.2cent on exchanges with no volume the same bad news as coins that haven't made it to an exchange yet? what do you guys have to say about this? i am currently holding two different tokens with good value but no trading volume, any hope for such projects?
Volume = liquidity, the lack of volume means nobody actually cares about that coin and big investors cant even get a big position of it or sell their positions, because it can cause a disaster. So youre right - low volume = dead coin.

Yes this is what's happening with most of the ICOs who prefer small or cheap exchanges and they meet there end this way. They initially hold bounty hunter's token then post investors and developers dump their token they distribute their token to bounty hunters with no volume which means dead token.  That's why we need to check the liquidity of the project before joining it and also enquire about possible exchanges before investing.

I think this is not about small or big exchanges, only very small ammount of the projects lists on big exchanges. Kucoin or Bittrex for example are good exchanges, but some coins there have very low liquidity, that means 0 interest from the people, that is very important.

Agree, it's about investor interest in investing in a coin or token. Coins or tokens that do not have active transactions on the market, it can be said that the coins die even though the coins are listed on large exchangers. Listing at a large exchanger does not guarantee the project is good, but at least the large exchanger has verified it first and the price will depend on the interests and trust of investors
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Airforce is using blockchain on: November 13, 2019, 06:21:39 AM
This is a welcomed development.  I believe several other institutions will adopt it in the future when they are able to really understand the beauty that lies in using this technology
A lot of companies and organizations are beginning to put more effort in their blockchain technology right now as they see that this is the new age we are in and how the use of blockchain technology has facilitated the growth of majority of people that has applied it, so it is indeed a welcome development that these type of strong organizations are beginning to also adopt it, bit what I would like to see the most is the adoption of one single currency.

It will be the best thing that will happen if they can all embrace the use of bitcoin as one major currency of the world, because as you see them getting involved in blockchain technology now, the only thing that I have been seeing everywhere here and there is many of them trying to create their own currency too.

I think blockchain technology will continue to develop if more and more institutions or companies use it. Blockchain technology has proven to be a safe technology for storing data and I think people will slowly begin to recognize cryptocurrency. If more and more people are familiar with crypto, the adoption process will be faster
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red trust accounts wearing signature..... on: November 12, 2019, 12:11:17 PM
Presently i detect that few bounties still allow red trust accounts to wear their signatures, i think this means the bounty project is been managed by bad bounty manager or what do you think? for example E3T bounty allows red trust account, is this normal ?

Allowing a red trust member to participate in a bounty campaign doesn't mean the manager is bad. The Bounty manager only runs according to the instructions from the developer team and I think as long as this forum allows, I don't think this is a problem
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypton - next altcoin with a great potential on: November 12, 2019, 12:07:32 PM
This is not the first time that am hearing about unknown projects being promoted as the next coin with the greatest potential by people like you. This is a space where nothing is constant and even if the project is innovative as you want us to believe, there are still many things that can happen and delay its progress and acceptance. Anyway, you will do more by dropping the link to the project website so that everyone of us we have the opportunity to do personal research over the project.

Agree, it takes time to verify that what they are saying right now is true. What makes many new projects fail is that the developer team isn't solid in producing the product. A good new project will certainly be in demand by the market and to prove this, it takes a long time
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: November 12, 2019, 12:03:49 PM
I'd like to discuss DEX exchanges and its variety.
There are many of it, and top-lists of top DEX exchanges are appearing often as well (here's an example for 2019). After reading one of the latest articles about it, I started to think -- there's too much info and not all of it is trustworthy. Reading reviews, comparing fees... I'd like to know which DEX platform you use and how did you make a decision about it?
Could you tell if you stick to one particular platform or use several of them? What criteria did you rely on?

For DEX exchangers, in my opinion the easiest and most safe to use are IDEX and DEX Binance. Binance DEX is a new exchanger but already has large transactions and has attracted many projects to use the BNB network.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: November 12, 2019, 12:00:45 PM
if you have a small capital then I think you can invest in altcoin which has a value that is still cheap but has very good potential to be able to benefit from rising prices and make sure you understand everything requires a process that means you have to be able to apply the long term to be able to get a lot of profit on EOS and LINK which in my opinion still have good potential with little investment capital.

Agree, there are currently many altcoins whose prices are quite cheap and 80% of the highest price. Altcoin that has been traded in my opinion is safer as an investment because it has liquidity and also those in the top 10 are traded in large exchangers
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat-to-crypto - what's with the fees? on: November 06, 2019, 09:34:37 AM
I often trade crypto using fiat money or vice versa. In my country, there are local exchangers who provide transactions using local currency and deposit directly from a bank account without using a credit card. For personal data, I think that every exchanger is bound by regulations and they cannot carelessly spread information about their customers
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: November 06, 2019, 09:31:04 AM
I have seen many exchanges have launched their own token like Binance with BNB, Idex with IDEX, Hotbit with HTB, Yobit with YO etc. where exchanges use their own tokens as another way to pay fees to support token. In addition to it, different strategies are used to create a hype like decrease in supply etc.
But if an exchange goes through a hard period of time and shuts downs then ultimately that token will come to its end because there is no community other than that exchange supporting the token simply because it has no usage outside the exchange.
According to me exchanges should promote the usage of their coins/tokens outside the exchange to build a community in support of it. If your community consists of huge individual entities who believe you then a great community can be formed. Otherwise lack of applications would lead these things to disaster.

Most native tokens are used to discount transaction fees. As far as I know, only BNB Coin launched DEX and this has attracted a lot of tokens to switch to using the BNB Coin network.
