BTC is only 50x my entry price (about 3 years ago). Like now, that was a major bottom. Should I buy more? Thoughts?

Yes but what does this have to do with Bitcoin. I seriously hope you don't believe that these people then would move to Bitcoin or something.
The question was merely what would be the most bullish for Bitcoin. I believe the collapse of the Greek economy would most definitely be that. I would expect some to move (some of) their money to Bitcoin but the majority movement would be speculators as it was with Cyprus. I never seen any evidence that Cyprus was the reason for Bitcoin to go up even 1 dollar. And nobody in Greece is stupid enough to put their money in a highly volatile hard to use currency that has been going down for a year. Anybody who ever has, or is saying that Cyprus was the cause for the April run up, feel free disregard their opinions in the future and/or laugh in their face. Ill elaborate if anyone needs an explanation. Tldr though; its complete bullshit |

Most religious people don't have the courage that there are things they can't not yet or never understand (lack of knowledge and intelligence). It is easier to rely on an almighty entity. Some, not most. Its more complex than that. And Ill add that Fundamentalist beliefs that you referring to are in the extreme minority and more of a recent phenomena. Bitcoin and stock market are both nose diving today. I guess no more early retirement for me. Given my bitcoin losses this week, it seems that the Lord wishes for me to die with my work boots on.

Yes, because when 90% someone's wealth is allocated in a single asset, its a mistake to divest it to spread the exposure. You are an invest genious, more so than zuckerburg/Jobs and countless others who have been doing the same thing for millenia. So many high profile attacks these past few weeks involving Sony, and outages with Xbox Live, etc.
People hear bitcoin and "digital" currency. Having a website go down for a few hours is one thing... but nobody is going to be crazy enough to entrust the protocol to their savings. And the fact that value has been dropping all year doesn't help.
It's really incredible that we're still over $300 at this point. It's not going to last for long.
