61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any use for failed cryptos? on: June 12, 2020, 11:47:51 PM
Any use for coins/tokens of defunct projects like Synereo/Hyperspace (AMP) and others?

The only thing you can do with failed coins and project is to learn not repeating the same mistakes for both projects and investors.
There was a service called coinjanitor that promised buying dead coins but the irony is the project itself has gone dead.
The best thing is to move on and forget what is already lost.

They did not succeed themselves because what's the use of buying dead coins/tokens in the first place? They are just accumulating crap coins/tokens and wasting their resources for something that are not revivable. What you can do is really move on and learn from your mistakes of buying coins without potential in the market.
They could have done that, perhaps because they feel they will be able to sell those coins/tokens at higher prices in future, in case they later revive. Some coins actually cam back renewed, refreshed and stronger, but the majority are forever dead. Continuing with a project like that is not certain. In fact, they can easily run bankrupt, because it is all about taking very high risk.

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: May 23, 2020, 09:37:03 PM
I stay in a place where most do not understand what cryptocurrency is. So it is never a popular thing to be used. The only thing i do mostly is send the BTC or ETH to friends who might need it for online shopping. I do not do that, because I have personally not be exposed to it, but i wish that cryptocurrency could be legalized by governments, so that many could use it freely without any restriction.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it , it's the end of cryptos on: May 22, 2020, 11:59:54 PM
But fortunately your prediction goes wrong. Moreover can't see any possibilities, that would be the reason behind the end of Crypto market. Btc is $9.2k & eth is around $200. Rather possible to pump more as btc halving is done and eth 2.0 is coming soon this year
Yes indeed it seems many prediction goes wrong, for that reason l can not believe any prediction. l prefer to realize the event of the market only myself. It is also good to hear something thing about the market, but only hear not others. l mean we must try seeing what happens, as you above mentioned BTC is between 9-10k and ETH is just above $200. It doesn't seen that they will get down, maybe get higher than expected.

I feel i do not agree to that. Even if BTC halving is over, that does not mean that there will not be any fall. In fact, expect to see more fall before the next bullring. If the market does not fall, it will not rise.
The reason you have to prepare for it is that, if it happens it will not meet you unawares.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is a good exchange but don't expect forever surge on: May 22, 2020, 11:53:33 PM
I notice that some coins that held their IEO in Binance are good when they are starting out but as time goes by they fade away, this is one of the risks be sure you are following the development of the coins you've invested, some of them lose steam after having a good start, you cannot blame but yourself if you fail to sell before it crashes.

Most of the IEOs in the crypto space, not only on Binance launchpad, but also on other begged exchanges, they do not always remain the same. Around the period of the IEO, their prices usually surge and they would have ATH at that time, but after some time, they would fall. The good thing about them is usually that they do not fall back to the IEO price, which is unlike other shit or smaller exchanges.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad plan? on: May 16, 2020, 03:17:27 PM
Everyone wanted from bitcoin, have a big pump But unfortunately it dumped again after halving. so it's different to predict about it.now support is at around $8k & resistance is at around $10300. So it will be okey to buy if btc cross at around $10500  Roll Eyes
Its too risky to buy on a breakout especially if its just a false alarm, well better to have it now than to wait for that moment. OP planned to buy back on a price of $9, if you did this then you still earn money from it but if you do bought on a level of $5k on its recent big dump, then you already made big money and that’s a good result of buying cheaper bitcoin and sold it once you see a good pump.

The only possible price to see Bitcoin fall back to is $8000 or it stagnates at $9000 before the real pump. Either of the two, I am optimistic that no matter where it could be now, in the long run, it will pump more, which is also feasible this year.
I actually made the mistake of buying when the price was very low, because there were lots of FUD then, that it will fall more.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump or HODL these coins? on: May 16, 2020, 03:09:25 PM
Very nice list of coins you own, your portfolio is really large and I see that you take it seriously with cryptocurrencies. Currently, the situation is shortly after the halving of bitcoin and I am also waiting for a higher rise in prices in the market.
The coins I would keep are: Gulden, LBRY Credits, Ethereum Classic, Doge coin and Digibyte. I leave the other coins to your decision. In conclusion, if the crazy growth of bitcoin comes again, all cryptocurrencies will go up with the price.

Thats the problem, the crazy growth of bitcoin like you said is like btc is monopolising the whole crypto market to itself, except for maybe ether and ripple meaning 99% of altcoins dont follow bitcoin price chart pattern. You sure alts will have go up with price with btc?

They do and that is why the dominance of bitcoin is high. There will only, be a reduction when the altseason comes, but who knows if it will come or altcoins will continue to be under the influence of Bitcoin. Despite this, altcoins are still very profitable. Those who risk it can testify to the fact that altcoins can be more profitable, except for the fact that the risk is more on the new ones, which sometimes are not advisable, yet, there are better ones among them.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchanges worth my money???? on: May 16, 2020, 03:01:49 PM
I remember, last year BCNEX was a new platform that was predicted to be big in the future and many people started buying tokens from the platform, even one of my friends bought a bcnx token for around $ 1,000 but apparently until now the platform looked scam. so if the possibility of a 99% scam why do you still want to invest in a new platform? better investment in a well-known platform token

Do not remind me of this platform again.
It does not look like it's a scam exchange, but an outright scam exchange. I could remember there was a lot of hype when they were making sales, many invested in it and all of a sudden, they disappeared.
They started by denying people of their withdrawal and gradually, everything looked like a dream. Till date, the exchnage site is still opening and when you attempt your withdrawal, it will be on pending.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is bitcoin black? on: May 15, 2020, 09:13:08 PM
does anyone have any idea about this thing? then help me to find out more about it
On checking the CoinMarketCap site, I discovered three is nothing of such. I think I have read about it before, but what I know is that it is another total shitcoin.
It has been in the crypto space for quite some time now, without any meaningful development and I believe it is already dead.
perhaps it is still existing, it will not be advisable to invest in it.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe to join campaign does not mean rewarding campaign on: May 15, 2020, 09:05:18 PM

We do need element of luck while doing researches, but it is possible to analyse well to be honest, if you can dyor , check through whitepapers thoroughly for key words relating to bounty rewards etc. you will avoid alot of story projects.

It is much better to do research than not to attempt it and depend on luck unlike what @Jonyshake71 suggest The only clause to that is if one does not know what to check to be sure that's project bounty is genuine, then going for random and just engaging in everything one sees might be another option. Notwithsatnding, i still feel that research is of utmost importance.

Both security checks (Fingerprint and 2FA) are fine and have been working, but security experts have discovered that 2FA can be bridged, but I do not know the means through which it can be bridged. However, they have also made up to 5FA, to authenticate the security system and to strengthen it.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bests bounty campaigns in the Altcoin section to join right now. on: May 14, 2020, 09:11:21 PM
EVerything I have seen so fart here is just based on personal opinion. One person comes here to say A is good and another one comes here to disprove it and mention what he feels is good. Since we already have some other threads that have started a similar topic like this, I just feel the thread to threads should be continued., instead of, making another one.
At this point, since there are just very few ones that are good, I think we should make about individual choices, as e feel pleased us.

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: May 13, 2020, 08:00:24 PM
One of the leading Ripple news sites estimates that the 2020 XRP price will reach levels above USD 8 and will find strong resistance around USD 10. Again, the idea of developing this cryptocurrency is mainly associated with new partnerships and the development of new technologies that improve the already existing Ripple service line and in fact it can be so ...

$8 is yet not feasible this year. If XRP is going to surge, then they must have started preparing something to boost the price again. I a just afraid that, that will be another time to make newbies lose their money, because, no doubt, it will plunge again.
If anyone is so optimistic about it and trusts the info, this will be the best time to buy.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: May 13, 2020, 07:55:22 PM
I'm not sure if the virus will make more people use crypto, if anything people will become more aware but I think it will still be difficult to change people's perspectives. In my opinion having more people on board with crypto in general is a slow but nonetheless progressive improvement!

Yes. Progress will be slower than many of us expected, but at least we'll get there. There's no denying that people are looking for alternatives to Fiat in a decaying global economy. They might as well choose Gold as their safe-haven asset in times of turmoil or Bitcoin altogether. The social distancing measures will encourage people to interact more in the online world, leading towards the discovery of crypto and Blockchain technology. Bitcoin is considered as the "Currency of the Internet" because it's the most widely used "medium of exchange" in cyberspace. With a deflationary model, most people could find Bitcoin attractive than anything else. Other cryptocurrencies like ETH and XMR will become widely used by people worldwide because of the features they provide for decentralized finance.

I believe that the COVID-19 outbreak has accelerated the development of CBDCs like never before. This will bring curiosity into everyday people in knowing what crypto and Blockchain tech are all about. Once CBDCs are launched, there could be greater exposure to decentralized cryptocurrencies in the mainstream world. We've seen how people's interests surged into crypto since the start of the pandemic. Most people searched about the Bitcoin halving on the Internet, as indicated by a web article. Binance on the other hand, said that there were new accounts created on its platform. All of this leads me to believe that coronavirus will encourage people to use crypto more throughly the longer it takes to disappear from the face of the Earth. Just my opinion Smiley

I like your optimism. However, pls, I would like to know what CBDCs mean.
The current trend of the market already shows that more people are coming to invest in crypto, although, it might not really have much effect now, we can see some changes already.
If governments would accept t use crypto as a control measure for the current pandemic, since there are controversies on decentralization, which will relinquish them of their power, they may likely want to create their own centralized digital currencies.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum will STOP "mobile mining" rewards soon. on: May 13, 2020, 07:10:57 PM

Thoughts?

What effect will this have on the community?

How legit is this info, why not attach a link so that we can read the original article from the source? Also, When do they plan stopping the mobile mining? I doubt if it's true unless they have a better plan, the mobile mining was part of their project features. If this happens, I don't think it will have any significant effect on ETN price anyways.

Straight from Richard himself. It's part of Phase 2.

If stopping mobile mining and going by the original plan will be what will make the project to wake up to its former glory, then it's fine.
After this, we want to see more progress, because, to me, ETN is not like it used to be. Although, it is better than so many projects that launched nearly the same time that ETN car on board, but are now already dead. At least you guys still keep the project alive.
Please, I would urge Richard himself not to relent. We want to see it come back full force.
