This algorithm has power consumption than x11 not you?

Indecipherable gibberish.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

I don't think you understand what's being said.  When deciding to it goesing back up, far away becoming localized.  Decisions making it look like more to anyone else can't be decided.  I hope this clears up any misunderstanding,  it's like english is your second language or something.

183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: August 12, 2014, 01:44:24 AM
I suppose it could be coincidence, but it also could be a litecoin whale selling into other alt coins including XMR.  Are any other alts going bananas?

VIA has been moving.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XCH] ★ ClearingHouse ★ Initialization Stage ★ on: August 11, 2014, 10:44:33 PM
This is why there should be a proper whitepaper instead of some vague blog entries.

No one understands how this is supposed to work.

I'm going to make a presentation video in the next 24 hours.

185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XCH] ★ ClearingHouse ★ Initialization Stage ★ on: August 11, 2014, 10:18:28 PM
XCH cannot be mined after the initialization phase so the issuance model is deflationary.
Good projects do not run themselves and good staff are expensive. I see no sense in destroying perfectly good coins when they can be put to good use. We are being completely transparent so you can make up your own mind.

What happens to the VIA after they are exchanged for XCH?

Why do we need XCH?  Why not just use VIA?
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XCH] ★ ClearingHouse ★ Initialization Stage ★ on: August 11, 2014, 10:14:19 PM
"This initialization process is called "burning", but since viacoins are new and shiny, we decided not to actually burn them, but use them towards funding the ClearingHouse project looking forward."

So, it should not be called "burning"... It is another IPO, no?

I assume XCH won't be the last Clearinghouse asset to be created. So, the process will be called burning. A guess, but there it is.

You can use XCH to issue your own assets/coins etc and they can be traded directly on the blockchain, p2p.

How is this done?
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: August 11, 2014, 06:39:16 PM
thank you for the explanation .. will cryptonote bandwidth be 1/1 on storage requirement increases per transaction over bitcoin?  (Bandwidth requirements = 10X bitcoins)?

CN coins will likely require about an order of magnitude more bandwidth than Bitcoin, yeah.

Is there no way to theoretically mitigate this issue or is it inherent to the tech?
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEW FuelCoin - FC2 Re-Distribution x11/pos 2% interest on: August 11, 2014, 05:44:53 PM
I had my fuelcoin on bittrex, never downloaded a wallet.  Cant seem to pull my coins off the exchange.  Do I need to do anything or will bittrex take care of the swap?
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 11, 2014, 12:52:20 AM
Could it be an error in the chart?  How the hell could it drop like that out of the blue?

Speculation about drop in network hash rate?

Quite easily if one person who had a huge farm found a more profitable coin to mine and bailed.

How do I generate a payment id when I donate?

You can just create a random one yourself - it's 64 hex characters:)

I don't understand this.  What exactly do I do with these 64 characters?

I was about to post about this!

The importance statement is this : "during the dev discussion portion following the announcement we'll be available to take questions on IRC in #monero-dev on Freenode."

It means its at the very least an announcement technical by nature, otherwise why take questions afterwards? this means no cryptsy, no website, no gui (database thingy stuffy problem? ive no idea what i'm talking about lol) -- personally i'm betting on i2p integration ! remember that a few missives ago there were mentions of a partnership with i2p and anoncoin and talks about a fundation of some sort in order to make things smoother.

Or database thingy is done and this is the announcement.

I2p was what I was thinking.  Whatever it is, +1 to all devs as usual!

Monero Missives

This week Friday we will have a very special announcement, before going in to a technical discussion, so if you are able to join us live for that then please do so. It will be broadcast live via Google Hangouts on Air, so you'll be able to watch it on YouTube, and during the dev discussion portion following the announcement we'll be available to take questions on IRC in #monero-dev on Freenode.

Can't tell if I should panic buy moar.  Decisions decisions....

New missives today perhaps?
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinDesk censors Monero, loses credibility on: August 03, 2014, 06:17:01 PM
This is really funny.  I use twitter a lot for trading purposes and follow quite a few of the most well know twitter traders out there, and there are quite a few of them.  These people will tweet about any insignificant rise in any stupid shitcoin they are currently hyping.  If someone puts a 5btc buy wall on potcoin, youre going to hear about it, over and over again.  The strange thing is, NONE of these accounts (save one maybe two) has ever mentioned XMR.  Not once.  I literally heard NOTHING about XMR during that mintpal rise to .01, and that pump went on for days and days.  I would even tried to initiate conversations about XMR but nobody would respond, I found it to be totally bizarre and even began to wonder if all these different people were really like 1 or 2 guys.  Now I read about coindesk pretending cryptonote is not real, and deleting comments, makes me want to get out my tinfoil hat.   Grin  This all just makes me think the general consensus is, accumulate as much XMR as you can, and don't mention it ever to make sure the price stays as low as possible.

Pretending the people at coindesk don't have their own self serving interests is just naive.  Even if it's not about accumulation, it's about something.  Coindesk wrote up articles on VIAcoin within a few days of its release and about the clearinghouse idea, despite the fact that it hadn't even been coded yet!  So attributing the silence on XMR to it still being in its infancy doesn't add up.  Actively deleting comments is a major red flag.

Cryptsy is going to go the way of Gox.

The coin emission here is probably going to crush the coins value for quite a while, like XMR.
