Si hablamos realmente del Bitcoin como inversión, ahí ya estamos evadiendo educación financiera real. En el trading tradicional, con muchos años de estadísticas, se han establecido unos ciclos económicos que anualmente se repiten. Hay meses buenos para comprar y otros para vender, y tradicionalmente hay épocas en las que la bolsa sube y otras en las que baja. Muchos de esos ciclos están determinados por acontecimientos conocidos, en navidad las ventas suben, en verano los inversores venden, a fin de año los fondos de inversión regularizan sus posiciones, etc. y la bolsa refleja esos movimientos.
¿Creéis que se pueden establecer ciclos económicos con el Bitcoin?
El Bitcoin ha sufrido un desplome del 53% desde que empezó el año. Al parecer se debe a que se acerca la hora de que los ciudadanos y empresas estadounidenses rindan cuentas ante la agencia tributaria federal. La proximidad del conocido como ‘Tax Day’, o último día para cumplir con sus obligaciones fiscales, tiene lugar este año el 17 de abril. Conforme la fecha se ha ido acercando, la concentración de órdenes de venta ha sido mayor en los episodios bajistas y, especialmente, en el último mes y medio.
Si analizamos el gráfico del Bitcoin desde principio de año, vemos que ha estado bajista hasta abril, y es sólo posteriormente que ha iniciado su recuperación.
¿Podemos empezar a deducir un patrón que ser repita cada año, y sacar provecho de él?
Pienso que si.En el año 2014 el comportamiento que tuvo el Bitcoin fue muy parecido al que estamos teniendo ahora mismo. Para diciembre del año 2013 éste aumentó su precio sorprendentemente y para inicios de 2014 se redujo aproximadamente un 67%, lo cual podemos ver cuando el Bitcoin bajó de casi 20mil dólares a unos 6mil dólares; si bien este descenso no representa ese mismo porcentaje, su decremento fue muy parecido. Si nos fijamos en el comportamiento que ha tenido el Bitcoin todos estos años, probablemente para finales de este año (2018) posiblemente ocurra lo mismo y la moneda se dispare, aunque se debe tener en cuenta varios factores que favorecen pero que a la vez son de doble filo: 1. El Bitcoin no se había utilizado tanto como hoy en día desde su creación. 2. Hay muchas entidades y organismos hablando de él e implementándolo. 3. El personaje John McAfee ha sido un poco relevante y como es una persona muy conocida, famosa y obviamente muy vista popularmente por sus declaraciones respecto a la misma. Todo lo anterior nos podría dar una idea de hacia dónde se dirige no sólo el Bitcoin sino el cript-mercado, ó podría ser un arma de doble filo, ya que el auge pudo haber acabado y el precio del Bitcoin se desplomaría. |

Habréis visto como muchas compañías han dejado de usar bitcoin como método de pago porque era demasiado lento y caro. Ahora con la introducción de la Lightning network parece que BTC va a poder ser usado para pequeñas transsaciones, pero aún asi exisitira el coste de abrir y cerrar canales. Yo creo que Nano puede sustituir a bitcoin en ese aspecto porque sus transacciones son instantáneas y gratuitas. ¿Hay alguien aquí que acepte pagos en Nano en negocio? O alguien que haya comprado algo con Nano? Lo me mola también es que BrainBlocks, el procesador de pagos de Nano tampoco cobra ninguna comisión así que el pago en Nano te sale totalmente gratis.

Bitcoin no tiene competencia, Bitcoin es la madre de esto. Simplemente hay mejoras y características con más provecho. En cuando a Nano y las transacciones y fees gratis, eso ya es normal en este mundo. De hecho, si un proyecto dice que su atributo es que las comisiones son gratis e instantáneas, sería aburrido. Eso es posible cuando te das cuenta que en el paper original de Bitcoin, Satoshi lo expone como algo adicional (los fees), es decir que no es obligatorio y que se podría quitar. En cuanto a las demoras en transacciones tiene que ver con la dificultad para enlistar el siguiente bloque, algo que muchas otras criptomonedas ya tienen como fundamento. |

Mine is not so much a question as a comment. I think your goal is a good one, plus I truly like your idea of getting crypto on the map more in Latin America. I have spent a lot of time in in Chile and Argentina in the 1990s and I have the impression that one way to increase the acceptance of crypto is to suggest that crypto be taken by some of the hospitality vendors, such as hotels and restaurants. This should be an attractive option for them, especially in the slower times of the year when everyone is looking for additional revenue sources. Once the vendors start experiencing the upside of crypto world (significant additional revenue), they will become megaphones for spreading the word to other players in the crypto and regular economies! Yes, also our idea is to expand this knowledge mainly in Latin America as I said. Taking in account these commerce and people can learn how it actually works. |
