cryptowat.ch is shutting down on Sept 29th. Any free alternatives that have the similar UI?

I found this: https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/how-to-use-a-cryptowatch-layout-on-kraken-pro

Basically you just pay for the api connect correct?

So it should work as long as the api's it connects to continue to work.

Kraken is pretty self governing supportive so I wouldn't doubt if enough users got together you guys could get them to open source it.

It's a shame, because Robert Kiyosaki for me is a respectable being, but the fact that he messed with Bitcoin like that, knowing that he is a very influential person, I don't know what happened to him.

I watched a few of his vids some years ago and came to the conclusion he was a grifter and promptly blocked him.

what do you like for your god no one?

an atheist or a nileist.

i am more of an agnostic i am just smart enough to know i simply dont know

For 30 years I have been describing myself as a Confirmed Agnostic.

*this has the added benefit of shutting up any religious arguments before they start.
Agnostics don't have the sacrament of Confirmation.  That's for Catholics.

How did I know it wouldn't stop any arguments here. Smiley

*90% of the time I have to say it to catholics.

I'm pretty pleased with how my FF season has started, but I'm still not too confident I can keep it up.

And then there were 2!
I'm not too confident either, Jacobs and Higgins have been getting carried on my team and I really need them to get their shit together!

You might as well add Kenyan Drake or Keaton Mitchell, as Gus might end up in concussion protocol. Ravens losing RBs at a rate of 1 per week. Lol

Hah, I always Grab Melvin. I just really like the guy even though he likes to fumble! He broke off a 75 and a 80 yd TD for me last year in my flex! And put up the same numbers as J.Williams the last 2 years and I drafted him at the bottom of the barrel while everyone reached for J.Williams. I usually NEVER take Ravens RB's and if its not evident why by now I don't know what to say but somehow Melvin has dodged missing much time for injuries and Drake fumbled last week so If I had the space I would grab him in this league as well.

Congrats SEEK3R, What a Week!  That may be the highest score this league has ever seen.
I got you this week, Hope your guys are too tired after last week to kick ass again! Smiley

That's the gig with fantasy football injuries are brutal.

The carpet almost maimed Mahomes a minute ago.

The Continental, pretty entertaining, laughed quit a bit. Smiley

Surprised to see Mel Gibson in a tv show.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 23, 2023, 11:46:50 PM
Can someone please turn OFF the injuries?!  Lol

It's been so bad that i had to pick up the same guy i dropped earlier in the week. Jamaal Williams and J. Hill are off my team, while Gainwell has likely lost his "rb1" status after Swift's big performance in week 2. Pacheco and his Q-hammy....i mean what are we even doing? It's the same rb carnage across all the leagues i'm in.

Furthermore, Waddle has not cleared concussion protocol, and i'm up against Tyreek Hill...for fuck's sake.

LOL, I picked up Melvin Gordon a few hours ago for another team. Smiley

In New Jersey I can get it back to my house in under an hour so it reduces gamey taste.

Gamey taste is from adrenaline.

The way to not get that taste is a quick kill, the longer an animal suffers and fights the more adrenaline it extrudes into the meat.

Always enjoy your telescope image posts bro. Great job.
My Orion 10” Dobsonian telescope had been sitting around for many years as I just
couldn’t be arsed to play with it anymore. As it was collecting dust and taking up
space, (instead of providing images of space) I recently donated the telescope, making sure the recipient promised me to put it to good use. He told me his nephew was totally into astronomy and would love it. I said it’s all yours then. (I trusted he wasn’t going to just sell it on EBay)
So now there’s the upcoming total solar eclipse this coming April across a swath of N.A and I got no telescope. Oh well, I remembered to stock up on eclipse glasses because last time (2017 solar eclipse) those things sold out weeks ahead of time.

Thanks. Compared to some of my astro comrades on the www, i'm really lazy, though. I could get much more detail and sharpness out of the night sky, but i need time for other things, too. There are remote setups for rent in absolutely dark areas, like deserts, but my countryside internet connection would make this quite a pain in the ass to download all the images (my only-12-megapixel camera is producing 23mb files, for example), while i can work at LAN speed at home and i don't need to write a support ticket to the tech team at the remote site if i need some things checked or done manually. The amount of money i put into this would be about the same, so you get fat telescopes, but they don't belong to you in the end. But then it's a point-and-shoot adventure, very comfortable.

However, observing the night sky indeed makes sense with dobsonians of 10"+ in size, they are also great value-for-money for starters, and there's nothing able to beat those biggies with their 3" eyepieces, while those aren't really cheap anymore. A mineral-glass filter for watching the sun without sverely burning your retina adds to the cost as well, but then the real fun begins.

Check some astro community sites, like the well known astrobin, to see stunning pics of the solar eclipse a few days after.
You'll find other amazing pics there, in the famous yellow-blueish Hubble color palette, which make mine probably look like an aged polaroid compared to the Siena-Award winner  Tongue

Have a nice one, i have to go building...

Mt. Gox trustee extends repayment deadline to October 2024.

Mt. Gox Rehabilitation Trustee has once again extended the deadline for repayments to its creditors.

The bankrupt crypto exchange has changed the deadline of the Base Repayment, the Early Lump-Sum Repayment and Intermediate Repayment from October 31, 2023 to October 31, 2024.

However, the latest update on Mt. Gox website notes that the rehabilitation creditors who have provided the Trustee with the necessary information will receive repayments in sequence as early as the end of this year.

Anyone remember Duke Nukem (3D)? I don't know why i always have to think about it when i hear about MtGox's rehab....  Cheesy

indeed... for me Mt. Gox sounds a bit like a level from DN3D  Grin

No Problema!!!!

I am both student and teacher, and I give myself a one-year extension to turn in my homework... and next year, I will do it again.

It does "seem" that they (referring MTGOX trustee.. don't kill me) are making progress, but geez, I thought that it was getting closed to being paid out in 2021.. so that would have been a bit more than 7 years, but now we are going on 10 years.. from the shut down of the site..  in February 2014.

If they pay out they can't keep using it to fud the price down.

In any case, I lost week 2 and I certainly will lose week 3. My season will depend on Kupp's hamstring on week 5. If he does not return, my season is finished.

If you lose one guy and your done even if its your number one pick then you did a horrible draft.

Just push on through and manage your team, never give up.

All teams get injuries, look at Chi, you think he's gonna give up after losing Chubb?

promising pictures?
and not delivering?
i will end this now.

OT:

Sold my old 750mm newtonian telescope, which i never got adjusted right for astrpphotography and swapped the dirty fiat and some extra bucks for the next size (1000mm) with a shorter focuser tube, which doesn't produce misshaped stars and was able to be adjusted (almost) perfectly in a matter of minutes.
We had some clear nights over here again, so i stopped processing the older data and captured some more.

Introducing IC 1396, the "elephant trunk nebula". Not even two hours of data made me show some details of this rather faint nebula:
Enjoy while hodling  Cool

EDIT: Due to only 28 2-minute subframes, stacked on top of each other, the algorithm didn't fully erase the satellite streaks, which you can see as dim, straight lines covering the sky background, if you take a closer look. When looking through the subexposures, i made out a satellite trail on about every third picture. Means eery five minutes or so this small area of sky is crossed by Elon's little worker bugs and their "collegues".

Is there also a small nebula right of center near bottom?

Is it my little pony  Grin
Or baby elephant?

nice shots bro. I do appreciate them.

Yeah, that smaller one looks more like a ghost nebula than the real one.

Too many RB's going down so grabbed a few handcuffs and all the WR's on the waivers are not dependable so they are all pretty much a crap shoot every week.

I am sick to my stomach this morning. I have the absolute worst luck when it comes to injuries in fantasy football. I am in 5 different leagues and have Nick Chubb in 3 of those leagues. That is an absolute blow to all my teams. I mean why does it have to happen in week freaking 2. Ugh 😩

You have had some bad luck man.  Sad

Misery likes company so maybe this will give you a chuckle. Smiley

How many Bitcoin I can buy with 5M USD?

At this particular moment, right around 182.68176836 BTC - give or take 10-100 million satoshis

wait, wait, wait..

We need to consider how fast you act - and assuming no fees. .

oh wait, wait, wait .. maybe with that no fee assumption I negated my own proclamations.. and we might have to give or take 300 million satoshis?

maybe we can try to presume a search for lower fees or even a pacing of the purchases could end up causing me to change my give or take to 1 billion satoshis..

so wait, wait, wait..

we probably have to give or take 1-2 billion satoshis depending on the definition of "buying now", and whether you are feeling lucky punk?

No slippage?
