The other pool has ruined this coin for me, if that changes I will of course mine it again but confirms all over the place and no contact from anyone  Then you switch pools to one that works!!! with 5Mh/s my avg payout was about 18,000/hr give or take. I was very happy with the pool!! Might even go back to it later tonight!! |

I'm a complete noob and would like to try to solo mine even if it doesn't make sense for me to. I'd just really like to learn how. Can anyone help me out?
The in-client miner only uses cpu. The basics for using a gpu is that you need to point cgminer to localhost (127.0.0.1) and edit the murica coin .conf file with the proper user/pass and port info. You might want to search google for something like "litecoin solo mining guide" or something like that (both litecoin and murica use scrypt. There are also guides for setting up cgminer and info on the proper setting for your gpu. Quite a few steps to nail down to get it running and then there's about zero chance of mining a block because of the net hashrates. Thanks a ton! I just really want to learn is all! So no matter what my local IP is 127.0.0.1? If you're mining on the same PC as your wallet is on, yes |

HEY DEV!!! Still waiting, is KGW going to be turned on at the launch?
Very sorry, I missed your earlier post. KGW will be on at launch.
The entire point of being the first to get in on a launch is to take advantage of low difficulty. I tried stressing this to the DEV a couple of time, as have other people here. I was really looking forward to solomining this, but with KGW it's pointless. lol You want an instamine, good to know. With 5 Hh/s??? RIGHT.... LOL |
