Great coin, but.... What will the avg crytpo person do with it? It's great that it supports artists, but what do most crypto people mine or buy coins for? To make a profit or to spend them. There is nothing for us to spend our coins on. No games!! So when the price starts dropping, people dump!! You need to provide a value to this coin!! Give people a reason to WANT to buy it!! Otherwise you like so many coins just will fade into the 1 SAT, no one buying and no one mining catagory.
I agree.... there is no incentive. how about a lucky draw? Entry fee of 1000 coins and eligible for first 100 people. Winner gets 100k coins  That would put some incentive to buy. We also need one more exchange. Have you tried contacting bittrex? They are very open to taking new coins, especially with an active dev. Search FB, there are plenty of artists (drawing) there. I think you need to expand beyond NY. Personally I don't care about just NY artists. But if you get artists to sell artwork for ABY, then people will buy!! I think you need to drop the whole NY thing. |

We all know that in the beginning a lot of people are putting their miners to the coin that is launched. so it is not just spreading the hash over different pool, but you can mine it several days. This is not a quick (ok, it is still quick) mining coin. Just hope with all that hashrate in one pool you don't fork the coin. |

Right now, I have all my batch files setup, my .conf is ready to go. I was waiting for the PW to being the mad scramble for my 5 minutes of solo mining before the DIFF gets to high and I have to switch to a pool. Now I have to rely that the pool I picked will get its act together.

he posted the link to the pw protected DL we just need the pass no on release. There will be no instamine time. You will see it in the block explorer. We will have the pre-mine amount and then it is off to a fair start. Also the first 500 blocks will be only 1CTZ, this is to allow mining pools to get everything prepared. no point in solo then... solo mining is doomed if dev keeps release first blocks with no value, imho pools should come only after 5 min of solo at least So... you are angry because everyone will have fair chance?  Not at all, but solominers give early innovaters a chance at some solo blocks. With just pools, might as well just wait for coins to start getting dumped at the exchanges. There is something about finding a solo block for the full value that really makes me want to mine and stick with a coin. Just my opinion.... |
