Hey, guys. I've been trying to get my Linux, Ubuntu 13.10 Intel 4770k/ASUS box mining. It seemed like it was mining ok, but now I've got a ton of errors when I check my debug.log.
If I wanted to start over, what would be the best way for me to scrap my current memorycoind install, download and compile then configure? Which source code should I be using for my machine, and can someone provide some sample configuration files? Your providing any other advice at this point would be appreciated.

I've asked for refund a month ago and still haven't gotten my refund ..kept on saying the wrong information for my wire,,i've checked multiple times it's all correct! ANYONE HERE HAVE PROBLEMS GETTING THEIR REFUNDS! I THINK THEY WANT TO HOLD UP MY FUNDS
I share your frustration. I requested a refund on Feb 2. They said it was processed on the 11th and would take 3-10 days. I'm still waiting. I initiated my refund process Feb 5 They verified the validity of my banking information, on Feb 7. They said it'd be done soon. Kurt responded, stating that their bank processed the transaction Feb 11. I checked w/ my bank on the Feb 14, no funds received. However, the funds had landed back in my account by the 19th when I checked again. Well, I also just received an email saying the funds were returned due to "an issue with the bank information". If only there were some way to easily and reliably send money to someone without having to route it through the banking system.... THAT is the infuriating part. I paid in bitcoin, now they're forcing me to jump through all these fucking hoops just to get my money back. No one was forced to be their customer. You pretty much have to agree to their terms, or agree to not buy from them.

Do you know how many Industries, Products etc the Government have crushed via the Media??... Bitcoin, however, is an entirely different beast
Its an interesting dilemma. On one hand, their spins are creating a great buying opportunity. On the other had, it is a legitimate threat to the acceleration of the technology.

Good. They brought it on themselves by being fucking assholes and screwing us over with their "datorhall"/bullshit delays.
It will now take Knc ~160TH of mining power to earn enough Bitcoin in a single day to refund one 13K Neptune pre-order, and that number is increasing as Bitcoin falls in value. They receive no sympathy on my part. The moment they changed their business model to serve a different master they lost all credibility and my order. These ass holes misled everyone. I hope their farm fails.

Shouldn't I have some uXPM, at least? but, 0.0000000 is what I have.
Did I configure this wrong? I don't understand, does primecoind create a wallet for me?
You are solo mining. There won't be any pay unless you hit a block, which these days will take a single computer several years I guess. You should join a pool if you want to get paid incrementally. Thanks for your response. Do you suggest any pools? ypool is solid. beeeeer is good for slow miners. candypool didn't pay my shares. edit: I just checked ... after some long delay, candypool has paid my shares. Thanks

Did I configure this wrong? I don't understand, does primecoind create a wallet for me? Where will the coins me saved? Why didn't I produce anything today? Thanks in advance.

people are spending horded coins.
no one is buying btc to buy shit online.
I do I think a lot more people buy btc to buy things online than you would expect. That recent MIT study showed that the largest percentage of bitcoins purchased nowadays, are spent within the first 24 hours. In regards to overstock.com, those numbers are pretty good, but they have dropped steeply from the larger numbers they were putting out in the first few days... agree, its convenient for me to keep some bitcoin on my chrome addin wallet, makes shopping super fast and easy

MtGox became a epic joke long time ago and only greed and stupidity forced people to trade there or send any coin/fiat into this black hole. MtGox has been operating as one big mixer - closed system with no exit for fiat or BTC.
Interesting where did the coin go and if coin is really gone, how did they manage to lose it?
Makes sense, hope it doesn't turn out to be a huge ponzi. I think it will end up that way. Similarly to how Ultimate Bet turned out for online poker (if you were a part of that) And, now, the only poker I can play is SWC.

I can vouch for adub's knowledge and first mover(USA) status here...I am also waiting in line for a Lamassu and researching how it will work IRL.
I think it all depends on the state of the online exchanges in the future. If they still suck, then these will make a lot of sense.
These vending machines will make sense in areas where AML/KYC/BSA regulations aren't as tight or become clearer, that's why we don't have any installed in USA yet. I'm thinking it will be a good way to get <$1000 worth of bitcoin on the spot, but not ideal for dropping 40K into, although i suppose it's possible. I think it's too early to call for Seattle, to be honest, but in Canada you should be good to go, research what the Robocoin guys did and emulate that. good luck!
Yes, I've followed the story and, yeah, I'm trying to learn from others and see if this is a feasible opportunity.

Please stop using the word "ATM" for something that is not.
Its a vending machine. And yes its a great start for ppl to BUY bitcoins online.
Now for ppl to sell bitcoins to fiat requires another whole level of licensing.
Yes, you're right and I stand corrected. It's an important distinction to make. Now that you're aware. I would say the machine is too small to be safe. Its made of plastic i believe. There is an opensource vending machine thats coming in near future. You can build a metal shelf or built-in safe for $1000 + cost of hardware (Android tablet + RPi + Money receiver ). Limassu only has advantage of a proven software backend. They should really just sell that instead. The Lamassu is not plastic, that was the prototype. The real thing is 110lbs of steel with another vault of hardened steel inside. Anyone who thinks it's going to be easy walking off with this is going to be surprised. Imagine trying to run off with a 110lb laser printer? Also, any reasonable operator is going to put these on a stand that is bolted to the ground like an ATM. Getting it open isn't going to be easy either. This is one tough mofo. I'm seeing a bit of bad advise and uneducated opinions around the Bitcoin ATM/Kiosk subject. As someone who has been studying this market segment for 6 months, and a serious entrepreneur in the space, I consider myself to be a leading expert. If anyone has questions about being an operator, the technology/devices that are available today, and legal/regulatory requirements in the US, please reach out and I will freely share what I know. Uneducated opinions? I was right about the plastic because so far i can only see the prototype thro media. Where is the "real thing" when media was talking about it? As for the Size, it IS SMALL (which makes it easier to carry) compared to real Vending or ATM machines. 110lbs in that size can be grabbed and thrown into a shopping carts! Anything else i said that wasnt correct? Get off your high horse! i laugh at your socalled bitcoin foundation member..... If youre the *ucking resident expert, then pipe up and speak to the purpose of this thread that I have requested which is input, not bickering about stupid shit like weight. I'm wanting to talk about the bigger ideas here. You're right, I don't want to bicker and excuse my frank comments about the quality of information I see floating around. My offer stands to share what I've learned freely with those who reach out to me (by that I mean PM or email). Yes, this is great! I look forward to speaking with you.

I've seen enough... Good luck to you all.
I'm done with this KnC charade and refunding my order.

Who has gotten their refund?
If I were to want to jump ship, what are my options? I read somewhere that you aren't allowed to sell your pre order.
