I too am waiting for Canary to post a price and hopefully it's more competitive than minersource.net ( although they are a good reseller ).  The price on the rbox dropped dramatically since launch and hopefully we will see the price of the rkbox come down as well.  To stay competitive with the market the price needs to drop a lil since power supply is not included and the rpi may need to be purchased as others have stated.  At least close to what Rockminer sells them for + a lil for shipping cost.  Hopefully this next week goes fast, don't want to resort to buying from the manufacturer.  What would you use these for?  Combine a couple and mine at a pool or point one for solo mining?  Is it a waste for solo or should I use the rbox for solo?  Your thoughts....

It's not your fathers XBOX!  When will we see a price?  I'm anxious.
843  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: RK-BOX,450GH/S,480W ,shipping date 25th on: June 11, 2014, 08:07:45 PM
Be nice to get these for .7BTC
I'm thinking the same or less.
How does noise compare to the S1?  I'm more concerned about heat.

Thanks for the clarificatoin.  Its better to have more models if the price matches.
845  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: RK-BOX,450GH/S,480W ,shipping date 25th on: June 11, 2014, 06:19:49 PM
So this is the renamed rxbox which was supose to be 600ghs?  Or is this a lesser model?
846  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: June 10, 2014, 03:45:45 AM
Are the resellers the same as currently for the rbox?  When can we expect to purchase rxbox from the resellers?
847  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: June 08, 2014, 06:51:42 AM
Anxious to see a review up.  Any way you can send a sample rxbox to Dogie for review?  And how soon can these resellers get there shipments?
These are 750w per unit?  Would also like to know how cool they run as well as db.
848  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Putting miner outdoors on: June 07, 2014, 06:00:19 AM
It's the morning dew which should be a concern or just moisture in the air.  If it's housed inside the cabinet it may be ok but fans sucking in moisture if it rains will kill it.  I have a shed that I thought I would place my miners in but I live where it rains a good part of the time.

My Want Ad Post:

Honest and Reliable company wanted to sell profit making asic mining rigs which are quaranteed to ROI within a month of delivery.  Miners in stock now and ready for shipment.  Easy flex pay plans available.
It is interesting to watch these small companies paying more attention for a return to the miner or offering ridiculous specs and speeds to make up for there lateness to their piece of the pie.  But I'm still drawn in somehow. Is it just me or is December to February delivery sound a lot like BFL?

I dont like how they just adjusted 1 unit = 4 @ 600ghs when it was 1 unit = 2 @ 600ghs.  But I guess thats what we were assuming it was and never got a clear answer. Roll Eyes

4 pieces running in the summer is a lot of heat for a home owner not going to happen in my house/garage.

These should be small and hopefully not ovens like antminers.  I was interested until the minimum price jumped.  The wattage is a little better than the ants.  But it is true, my garage is 105 degrees now and it's only 70 outside. Angry

I'm in as well but need some questions answered first so we know the skinny.  It is a wonderful thing when companies pay attention to ROI and they compensate the adjustment as best they can.  I smell a group buy coming on, but that would seem to break contract with RockMiner.
853  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: June 05, 2014, 11:53:16 PM
Can we get a little more clarification on the XBox?  Either Google translator is malfunctioning or it's repetitive broken english.  It does look like it reads each one will hash at 600 gb/s and a minimum order of 2.  But that's where I get lost.  The 60 days hosting looks to be mandatory or is that the protection plan?  They speak of payment by escrow, who?  Please, very interested but need some questions answered. Cheesy
No, it does say 1 unit = to 2 * 600ghs. Shocked
Now as I read this  http://www.rockminer.com/R60/
You can receive these miners for 1 btc = $650 as long as for the first 60 days host mine for them.  After that the contract is up and the miner is fully paid for.  Does that sound right?

Please, Please feel it wasn't fair to remove the zen controller from fury 3rd week bundle until they were sold out. Could you re-think this?  Don't want to pay $70 for a unit thats not even functional right now.
855  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - NEXT GEN ASIC on: May 28, 2014, 11:23:31 PM
A lil peeved at the Zen controller being taken away from 3rd week Fury package, was about to buy just for the controller itself.  I know it was a gift and bravo for offering it freely to the orders. But it was on there yesterday should have remained until 3rd week orders were up.  I was waitiing to hear how hashing was going first before buying.  Yes I know I can buy it separately but it sounds like no one has it working yet. Would have been good to have a review of it first before trying to sell it for $70.

And you didn't even use my referral?  Curses! Grin
I like to have my miners close to home but to make a profit and especially during Summer you need to hash here.

Anyone have a Black Widow / Falcon hashing and can give us some #'s?   Roll Eyes
And it's great news about you Fury folks.

I have a Black Widow up and hashing. It does about 18MH reported in the portal, and I see that to start with pool side as well, but there are a few stability issues that Jeff is working on at the moment so that drops down to about 13-14MH and then spikes back up to 18MH again after a restart of the miner.

All in all, it definitely performs a lot better than he advertised 13MH!
Thanks that's good news.  It can only get better with fine tuning an updates.  Hash on!
