21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bleutrade Cryptocurrency Exchange [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: December 02, 2017, 02:12:47 AM
Hey Guys!

I really need som help here. I used googles Two factor autenticator on Bluetrade, unfortunately my phone just stopped working and i had to reset it, and lost all data on it. Now i can't find a way to recover the codes again. Is there any way to do this?
That happened to me last year with Poloniex and Authenticator.  Contact the exchange, they usually require some info from you.  They will eventually deactivate 2 Factor so you can login again.  You will then setup your Authenticator like it was new.  Can take days for this to complete.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining raspbrry pi 3 on: October 30, 2017, 05:23:22 PM
This topic could be moved to the altcoins section.  The cluster would only be feasible mining cpu altcoins.  Pi's are suitable for controlling some miners for bitcoin but most have them embedded already.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Adapter issue on: October 17, 2017, 07:17:18 PM
The best thing you can hope for is to run 1 card on this motherboard and it needs to be a gtx 1060 w/out additional pcie requirements.  Then you can use your current setup.
24  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Rig setup - garage or basement? on: October 13, 2017, 01:58:07 AM
Garages are fine as long as the intake air from a vent isn't right on it.  Even in a cold climate the rig needs proper venting.  1 rig at least a box fan blowing out a vent and vents for incoming without a fan should be fine.  (as well as a circulating fan on the rig itself).  You'd be surprised how much heat is put out with just a few cards.

If you plan to have it in the basement, noise not heat would be the concern.  Then you can vent the heat upstairs and turn down your thermostat.  I'd choose during the fall to heat my house and earn coin rather than pay electricity for heat and rigs.

On the condensation note:  Inside the garage or basement isn't a concern once you have it run for a day.  It will dehumidify any home!😉

Psu connections to start, network next and make sure your pool info is correct - that would cause a reboot.  You can save the default software then update it from Bitmain.

reinstalling the firmware was the solution, thank you very much!  Grin Grin Grin
Glad to hear.  Had the same issue before.

27  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why people sell their miners on: September 25, 2017, 11:30:25 AM
Hate to recap but only the first gen Asics truly made money for home miners if purchased early.  Every thing since has just been almost breaking even.
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why people sell their miners on: September 22, 2017, 09:59:38 PM
Why is the main reason that people sell their miners?
I think the only is for obsolescence of miners, that is to say, that miners don't make profit, is this is true, other people can make them more productive?

as my knowledge to the miners sell the old mining rig because he/she want to upgrade and set up new mining rig, and make it to improve and get more profits for long term investment.
Of course!  It's for profit and there's no profit in long term inefficient btc miners.  Gpu's now carry for several years depending on model but that's for another thread.  On average most Bitcoin rigs have about a year or just over to stay profitable from release.
If it weren't for power costs and btc price/difficulty no one would ever need to sell.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 16, 2017, 12:58:07 PM
If I understand things right, once I plug in the dummy, the AMD drivers will load properly, and the 570s should get into the 28MH territory.

Correct
Maybe I'm wrong but those cards do not require dummy plugs.  They either work or they dont, not represent a lower hashrate if you don't use.

Today they released the 2FA on my account and all holdings are still there, thank god.  Still would recommend caution trading here.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: July 28, 2017, 11:50:26 PM
Yes, accusations seem to be true.  My last post was deleted off of here a page back.  My account now has 2FA enabled which I didn't do, so now I can't login.

i use this format

-epool asia1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x5f387a2fcf934dadbec5f911c456e4a0a707d945.miner -epsw x

just change with your ether wallet

Thanks but not working
U used who version claymore???

i use 9.7
my problem is i cant use it in dual mining... i need to dual mine with siacoin unfortunately i cant

ETH + DCR:
 -epool eth.suprnova.cc:5000 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -dpool dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal suprnova.1 -dpsw x -allpools 1

In pool suprnova.cc

So that works for you with Decred?  But are you still trying to mine Sia?  I know my Sia pools require quotations in the config line.

37  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Stick Miners, all of them ... on: June 25, 2017, 07:24:59 PM
I know I have 4 Compacs and may 10 Block Erupters as well.  I can check tomorrow when I get a chance if interested.  I love stick miners also, they're very satisfying to watch.
Sounds good. Let me know when you have them counted.

Yes, works perfectly for slapping rigs together headless.  No complaints, not even the fee.  Well worth it.
