881  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiners.com - NEXT GEN ASIC on: May 24, 2014, 07:07:07 PM
I'm located in Connecticut - everything I received was shipped from Mass in 3 separate boxes. My earliest order was on 5/6/14... I've placed 3 others since then (including re-order for paypal refund). I have 3 Furys en route + 1 Black widow (BW is last order placed last week).

Interested in knowing how these perform especially the Black Widow. If this is a Cyclone replica should do about 22 mh/s unless these are unmodified  first runs of Zeus's equipment.

It's getting pretty late for that amazing announcement........... Wink

So now that Btc is on the rise it would be conceivable that either the price per gh/s needs to adjust daily or receive more gh/s per buy.  Not just at diff change.  Am I right? Cool

Wish it were real but if it sounds too good to be true it typically is!  Damm Angry

Hi PBM ,

would be nice when the website would be optimized for mobile viewing.

Or even better ,a simple Android App maybe Wink

ANYWAY; keep up the great work.

Yes, would like to check while at work - they said they were looking to do this.

Can we get a confirmation from Dogie that he actually did contact this scammer?
Confirmed, lets see what happens.

Did they mention any kind of time frame for this to happen - anxious to know how this plays out!

To help put things to rest about your company and product another company "Zeus" is allowing one of the forum members to visit their company and take pictures and video of their product.  I know you might not be quite ready for something like this but it could get good publicity allowing for a ordinary persons view.  Just a thought, but more pics on your site might help with sales.  Waiting for your site to be updated and more info on refund policy if any.

Thanks, awaiting more info on refund policy if any.  Hopefully early next week. Grin

Anyone know the connectivity?  It's not a standalone miner?  It needs to be connected to a host computer via usb 3.0 port.

I have been asked to issue a notice to customers until the web design team gets back into the office on Monday and updates the website. All orders placed through the website are automatically canceled if they are not funded or paid for within 60 minutes of the time the order is created. As there are often several "testing it out" orders with any hardware company and the web interface runs bitcoin-d in the background and generates a new address for each order, to avoid generating multiple addresses which are never used the backed cancels non funded orders after 1 hour and recycles the address after 72 hours. If you wait more than one hour to send payment you will be required to place a new order through the system

That's understandable had the same issue at another new "established" site but was acceptable because they were quick to refund my btc and kept  in contact through email.  Anyone who has ordered, any info on their customer service.  I'm closing my eyes and clicking my heels three times hoping for the best.

+1   Yes a test miner to a Hero Member would be great for your business, and your bonus.... it's proven true in the past.

For the orders you have received, what percent are through the website compared to escrow at this time?

About 90% are through escrow at the moment is what i have been told. I dont have access to those systems so i can only go based off the reports when they are mailed out.
Thank you for your answer, are refunds available if you dont ship after July?  If so you may have another customer soon.

Registered earlier today. I've been reading this thread with interest. Have bought some GHs, and payment sent (and confirmed at my end). I noticed it said up to 12 hours to complete. Why is that ? Is it a manual process then ? In reality, how long does the process take on average ?

I noticed something else: on my profile it shows my surname first and my given name second - is that how it should appear ? I'm certain I entered the names in the correct fields when I registered. (In fact I know I did, just went back into registration page again and my browser autofilled the fields correctly.)

I also noticed that it said that my customer ID was embedded in the transaction as part of the cost ?
SO, if my Customer #: 10229 (from my profile) and the amount I was asked to send was 0.10600229, is there something wrong with that ?

1. Even though they are processed automatically up to a certain point, they still need to be manually approved.  I can think of a few services that were confident enough to be fully automated with their money processing, and ended up having it stolen.  This is the way we run things.

2. It is common to list a name that way, yes.  That is normal.

3.  Yes, the last 3 digits showing up seems to be working for you normally as well.  This is used more for convenience than a double check while we are processing, and we certainly don't completely rely on it for verification.  We actually use a few layers of security when it comes to processing orders, since we have been too stubborn to use Blockchains address generator and callback system after we were attacked in January.

Basically, everything looks like its in order!  Smiley

Ok. Many thanks for that info.

I'll eagerly await my Ghashs' appearance !

Hehehe.. sorry, oink oink Oink!!

Now mining :-)

Welcome to a bold new world and enjoy the ride.

Thanks.

Cashed in some of my GHS on CEX to have a go here - thinkgs getting a bit too trixy at the moment on CEX for me.
Plus I got my own antminers on Slush's pool. Diversity's the key, I think.

I would put my personal hardware towards cex or eligius. Both have pool fee 0%. Slush has 2%

Don't mine at CEX!  Yes you get payouts by the minute at 0% fee but I've mined both and Slush's pool payouts are far greater.  Don't know about Eligius but Slush's pays well per gh/s.  Compare for yourself.

With the way you answer, you really give the impression that you are a professional businessman. Thumbs up Smiley

Obviously he hasn't read the beatings on the forum of any new company promising the world until they have more info to share.
