1  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: USB Miners at crazy prices. Why? on: June 16, 2019, 01:11:38 PM
Nothing like hashing with a usb stick miner.  Ebay is great for selling nostalgia items.  Sold all of mine there at a fair price.  Look to here to buy what your looking for in the future.
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcing GekkoScience's new USB stick miner, the aptly-named NewPac on: June 16, 2019, 12:45:35 PM
Had to laugh about the blinky lights, best selling factor!  Hmmm miss those light shows.

Well yah, the new cores may help or hinder mining.  Will have to wait and see.  Expected to be 30 percent faster which doesn't always mean faster mining.  Still waiting for that 70-80 mh ethereum card.

Dude, to get 2 times of your expected hashrste, i think u better get asic miner for eth like antminer e3, it give u better efficiency at power consuming and cost of rig. Correct me if im wrong.
RX Vega was first rumoured to provide 60-70mh. 😉  Asics aren't anywhere comparable to gpu's when you compare their longevity and resale.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Fork like Monero to fight off Asics on: March 28, 2018, 11:56:37 PM
It seems a little late for a fork, here's why.
We all know Bitmain is currently mining with the machines before they open them up to the public.  The real hurt would to do random forks before we catch wind of Asics coming out.
If you fork after it just hurts the miners albeit Bitmain's profit from selling used goods.

@seanreit & @CryptoSouth -  Looking forward to updates on the builds.  You're "Gods among Men" thanks! Shocked

hi guys
any body buy a3 ?
in you tube many people says its scam
what is the true
a lot people bought, but now waiting for shipping...
Obelisk with 6m to 1 year delivery looks like scam to me =))
With one post to your credit I can appreciate your fully researched knowledge base of these companies, ie Obelisk.  Sia's Dev team is behind Obelisk.  Asics are millions to develop so many need preorders to pay up front costs but you already know this I'm sure.
10  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: BitMain Antminer A3 First Batch Pre-order For Sale on: January 20, 2018, 04:08:02 PM
The pre-order is shipping out in the first batch. It would be overnighted to whoever buys it from me the day it arrives.
To answer the question exactly, have you already placed an order and we would buy it from you when it arrives?
Or are you saying we give you the funds to place an order?
If the latter, what's the point.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: January 20, 2018, 02:38:38 AM
Heard this all before, after Litecoin.  Then Ethereum happened and so the cycle will continue.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant-B on: January 19, 2018, 11:02:33 PM
Interested as well.  Currently the only miner capable of mining multiple currencies, well we'll see.
13  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: BitMain Antminer A3 First Batch Pre-order For Sale on: January 19, 2018, 10:55:32 PM
So you'd be selling an A3 you currently don't have in your possession?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Asic for SIA - Obelisk SC1 on: January 16, 2018, 08:16:55 PM
Legallity goes both ways in the U.S..
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Asic for SIA - Obelisk SC1 on: January 16, 2018, 08:14:21 PM
Obelisk is USA based and under US law.

If they don't deliver, they must refund and the entire SIA project would be auto-tanked and never recover.

All in or all out basically.

Just my thoughts....
Well, maybe but did you read their "Terms"?  Says you give up the right to a Class Action lawsuit if you enter the preorder.
Always read up before you invest.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Asic for SIA - Obelisk SC1 on: January 16, 2018, 06:31:30 PM
It's my opinion the SC1 would do far better to generate profit compared to the DCR1 given SIA hasn't jumped in price yet.  Lots of headroom to turn those coins into $1 per than Decreed going to $200 per.  Batch 2 sale ends on the 31st of January.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinexchange.io - Reviews on: January 13, 2018, 01:15:56 AM
DO NOT USE THIS SHITTY EXCHANGE

If you lost access to your email = your lost all of your money. This stupid exchange will not change your email no metter what, no matter what proof you have about account. And this is so easy to do, because this exchange has NO mention ANYWHERE about you current email and login made by "username". This is so retarded.
Cryptopia support was glad to help me and change email but not this CoinExchange.io. I regret sooo fucking much I tried to use them, they are so bad. Do not deposit your coins here, choose something better like Cryptopia or others....

Always consult these forums first for users inputs on exchanges, people and companies.  Just a few minutes can save you from doom, well sometimes.
Not all exchanges are guilty of fraud or theft due to unanswered tickets.  But it does show caution.  Many are manned by 1 or a couple people, CRYPTSY for example.  They don't have the funds, man power or good business sense to have ever started the company to begin with.
To their credit, this is crypto world not NYSE.
Do your research and continue to post your experiences.

Are you booting to an SSD or standard drive?  If SSD need to enable ACHI in bios.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: January 10, 2018, 06:31:32 PM
Terrible customer service!  Long ticket wait times.  Unacceptable withdraw fees (btc).  But with all that a decent exchange.  The problems hopefully are due to shear volume and under staffed ( ill prepared ) and unproffessional trying to create an exchange.  It is what it is in my experience with them.  Criminal?  Not yet!
Trust?  You won't find many exchanges you can to be fair.  Use them for their trading pairs - do your business and get out.  That's my opinion.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: December 09, 2017, 10:18:30 PM
Ride the rise of sh#t coins and sell.  Use your profit to buy your top 15 cryptos and bank your asset coins and tokens.  Hold these never sell.
