J'ai découvert le bitcoin il y a 6 mois avec le reportage "Bitcoin The end of money as we know it".
Et depuis je regarde tout et je lis tout.
Cela m'a même permis de m’intéresser à la finance au sens large.
Après 6 mois à lire tous les posts du forum francais et anglais je me suis dit qu'il était temps de participer.

ben écoute, depuis mon message, j'ai eu le plaisir d'apprendre qu'une ferme en islande faisait tourner vanitygen dans ce seul but. 120millions sur une seule adresse, "ça s'tente"   |

parce qu'ils ont gardé leurs coins de façon disséminée sur des milliers d'adresses c'est d'ailleurs la première chose qu'on doit apprendre si on commence à sérieusement utiliser le Bitcoin. Mitiger les possibilités de perte totale. Une bonne hygiène bitcoin, c'est en effet de mixer de temps en temps ses bitcoins pour brouiller les pistes sur la blockchain et les répartir sur de nombreux portefeuilles pour diluer les risques. J'ai un peu peur que ce 2ème l'apprenne à ses dépens. Des paliers de 15000BTC réguliers depuis septembre, ça va finir par attirer la convoitise. Imaginons une petite ferme qui tente de coup de reconstituer la clé, faudrait beaucoup de chance mais pour un beau jackpot.Ah ah merci pour cette bonne vanne |

Well maybe. But I can't get my head around the fact that the panicking hasn't already been more panicky. I mean, someone says your funds are locked for 30 days and how many will just take it on the chin rather than scramble to get them out asap?
Scramble to get them out how? Via fiat will have the same "privacy" implication as just keeping on trading, waiting 1 month and identifying yourself to the exchange/gvt. So it's all the same, really, no? The difference is that if you get them out via fiat you know you have the money, but if you keep them in an exchange you might not see them again in 30 days Or not all of them (ohai Cyprus) |

losing the mining is alarming, i dunno how things would pan out if they did or even whether it's possible
The only possible ways to do that is to prevent the farms to communicate on internet (impossible), or to physically delete the farms, ie put people in jail and/or burn the miners (not likely but possible for big farms because of the electric bill) |

The good thing is that people got a new "reminder". If you don't get the coins in your wallet, you don't really own them.
So if you buy coins => get them right away in your own wallet, don't leave them in an exchange... Exchanges get "hacked", get government interventions, etc etc.
