Power forged for account and node maximum 100000 Nxt
Accounts with more than 100000 Nxt if they want to forge gradually will be divided into fractions Nxt 100000
accounts with less than 100000 Nxt will share their rights fees in pools. If bob account forge his fees will go into the pool.
Bob would receive a fraction fees as a function of the nxt he had.
The network in the worst case would reach 10 000 nodes
1000000000/100000 = 10000 Nodes
Translated into numbers
if a block has 256 transactions
and 1440 blocks are generated each day
a pool with 100000 nxt generated 52.6 blocks per year
if a Nxt equals 1 Dollar
Blocks 52.6 x 256 = 13,455 dollar per year
in the worst case nearly every week 256 dollar received a pool (grouping of accounts) with 100000 nxt
Bob would receive a fraction fees as a function of the nxt he had in the pool.
if for example the pool is formed by 256 equal accounts each account will receive 1 dollar per week
Do not forget that you have also mantein your PC if you usually use for other things.
The 256 dollars are to maintain only your actives nodes per week
chances of forging only depends on the nxt you have
This solution at least provoke everyone who wants to forge receive fees every 2-3 days maximum one week.
This at least solves that small accounts are equally motivated to forge that big.

Does anyone agrees Nxt community got scammed by Mintpal exchange? They should have not added Nxt for voting if they didn't have technical skills to add it.
They need to refund the money.

Yes, we all have to wait when someone forges a block. When you send test coins, maybe it is better to send like 1million to everyone want to participate, i think this will make lots more people want to play around with it. How I can stop the server 0.8.x safely? pkill -9 java? :S No, no, no, don't do that! There is nothing safe about kill -9. You have to use kill -15, and should see "Database shutdown completed" in the log before shutdown. Assuming the NXT network is at 10% utilization, each block will have 25.6 NXT transaction fees. ( 256 tx per block * 1 NXT tx fee * 10% = 25.6 NXT) Half of this, 12.8 NXT, gets rewarded to the hallmarked nodes' accounts supporting the network. At one block per minute, 18432 NXT will be distributed to all hallmarked node accounts per day assuming 10% network utilization. If there are 1000 hallmarked nodes on the network, each node will earn 18.432 NXT per day and 6727.68 NXT per year.
As more transactions are issued on the network, more hallmarked nodes will come on-line to partake in earning the node reward.
Let's talk about the idea first before we get into numbers (because the idea should withstand changes in these numbers. And I want to get it right). - We are now talking about incentives for hallmarked nodes - You propose that we split block fees between the forger and the hallmarked nodes Ok? yes.. we're searching to a donations/bounties to run a node .. or to forge ( help the Nxt server ) .
 I think this is a bad idea. Either the network/nxt itself can care of or this will fail. - agree. but if we want more nodes, and people can not create new ones because it has no budget .. how do we support the Nxt ? - I am sure, the forging itself must bring an interest (a fee) for nodes' owners. Now it is a very small amount, but when there are hundreds of tx in each block, it would be a good sum. Currently, you are right, donations like peerexplorer.com are highly welcome in order to support nodes' owners. But it can not lasts long. Then wait for the opinion of one of the developers .. Ahahah I don't want to rush anything, but the solution is simple .. Please explain us your bulletproof, not gameable, future-save solution, which doesn't require human intervention and doesn't affect other functions of Nxt. Oh. Seems like an interpretation thing. Every computing running NXT is helping. The ones that are forging help more.
