Either the network/nxt itself can care of or this will fail. - agree. but if we want more nodes, and people can not create new ones because it has no budget .. how do we support the Nxt ? You did not understand my idea, I do not mean to repay the costs of a node ... but only a part, for example 30% ..
Right now, this idea sounds really lame. You talk about donations and bounties. Maybe I just don't get your idea Maybe I'm wrong to call them donations, but the sense is that .. I do turn on my VPS ten nodes to help the communities ( nxt server ). it would be nice to get some nxt.. Maybe my idea is not that nice? |

java -Xmx1024M -cp nxt.jar;lib\*;conf nxt.Nxt It works? Ya it works on windows, meantime downloading the blockchain from scratch, is the 'login' port changed to 7875 ? 7874 no longer in used ? The port 7874 no longer used .. now the new port are 7875 / 7876 ( with the protocol https:// ) ... try it . |

I guess i am missing something, trying to start 0.8.1e on windows, creating a bat file with the following line :
java -jar nxt.jar
the cmd just open and disappear and i can't find any log, anyone has workaround for this ?

I go on a road trip for a day and looks like I missed a giveaway.  Looks like I also missed a lot of talk about PoS, penalizing accounts, proof-of-commitment... a *lot* to digest. Wesley -- it appears that the Mac client still doesn't play nice with the changes made in 0.8.x? I accidentally auto-updated to 0.8.e, and now I've got to redownload and downgrade to 0.7.5.
