speak of the devil. I just lost internet and all my ssh sessions got terminated along with all three of the gateways. I think there were a few pending transactions, so this is a good test to see if recreating the state from blockchain is working.
I am having some server issues, they keep saying "bind() failed: Address already in use", but all prior instances have been gone for a while...
Edit: OK, all three gateways are rescanning blockchain, just from the first possible timestamp
Could that have been why I was just seeing 'not enough funds' when trying to send DOGE back to my wallet? I'll try sending back/forth again after my confirmations complete. Who wants to develop a lightweight NXT tool for Windows or Mac, which sits just in your taskbar/menubar (see picture as a mockup)?I'm no developer, so somebody needs to step up for this. But I could make a nice landing page for it  Idea: Installing and running this little tool should be hassle free. You can lookup your account, use main Nxt functions (like sending NXT, messaging), activate/deactivate forging right from the menu and you see some general blockchain stats. That way, we could promote this little gadget as a simple and lightweight tool which runs smoothly in the background, forging for you (or not) and securing the Nxt network.Wouldn't you and newcomers love this lightweight and unobtrusive tool which actively secures the Nxt network? DOGE Gateway -- Guys, please test this. It's like magic (except that it's science + hard work). I set up a DOGE account for testing purposes at dogevault.com, as I didn't want to spend hours syncing my main QT wallet. I sent 10 DOGE from my online wallet to the gateway address; after a few confirms, it appeared (magic!) in my assets (I'm using wesleyh's test client). Then I transferred 5 back. After a few confirmations, there is was in the wallet. Like magic. And I still had my remaining 5 still safely ensconced in My Assets. Very slick. Send James a PM with your testNXT acct number and your DOGE acct number if you can't compile the multigateway dogeaddr app. Thank's . |

People this thread is giving me headhache and we are losing a ton of time reading thing and searching the subject that we are interesting, we need really to move to a forum with nice functionnality. Also, I lost my password to my user account at https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/ and it seem that there is no way to recover it. I have contact twice the official forum e-mail. I did not get any answer for since 11 feb. It look like the https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/ is dead. Any help? btc24@bitcointalk is adminius@forums.nxtcrypto, the admin of those forums. I dont think hes been online in a month. I have been trying to give him some bounty from neer.g but he seems to have completely disappeared. that being said, i know hes been asked by tons of people to allow password resets by email, but so far hasnt budged. that being said, if the community as a whole wants to get yet another forums site up and running and volunteer admined then I suppose that can be done. And if indeed btc24 has been hit by a bus then I guess eventually the forums will break or miss payment and get shut downl i could then change DNS to the new forums if necessary. or whatever the community as a whole agrees on I will change DNS We could help Bitventurer develop Nxt.org Nxt.org will be a forum?
