Irrespective of the beautiful suggestions being rendered, I don't think you should hold Altcoins for long term seeing how the market played out last year and this year as well, it isn't advisable for long term hold of alts.

There's just no guarantee for both high priced and low priced projects. What's left for every investor is to do their research, make their investment decisions, stand by it each ever way it goes. Guarantee is in a projects prowess to develop their project to the highest standards expected of them.

Projects should cost bounty allocation in liquid tokens of Eth or Btc or Xrp or Eos and not their native tokens. If payment is made in other listed know tokens their native token price won't be dumped in the market after bounty payout. Also there should be high utility for every token as such hunters will like to hodl for a while.

The only time I believe a project team is real is looking for their project on icobench, once the top team member like the CEO and CTO has passed KYC exercise, I trust the project is real to an extent but without this, I'm always sceptical about project team members.

Learning the lessons for the loss, averaging down. When I make a loss in a trade I try to understand why i made such loss, I avoid such mistakes. But the f my trade setup is in order and I fe its just a temporary market shake down with a possible recovery, I average down my buys if not I cut my loss.
