901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: July 09, 2018, 03:47:11 AM
As no one truly knows what will happen the next minute, it is always advisable to sell in bit. My friend taught me a stranger which i used to take out my capita first in every trade then wait the profit out to increase more. And even if it fails to perform again at least I no longer lost i have my capital back. Just learn to sell in bits.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto can built my future? on: July 09, 2018, 03:44:46 AM
A better future lies ahead of us all. I keep hearing we are the early adopters of the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency at large, if that be true then imagine how much we stand to gain when there is mass adoption or as the technology gets known and advances. There is really a lot to gain both now and in the future.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters. on: July 09, 2018, 03:42:46 AM
Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders
This is a very good reminder and advice to some of us who have lost sight of what lies ahead of our bounty careers. Taking profit once you get paid is not bad but the rate at which everyone rushes to dump their tokens on exchange is quiet alarming. Some people feel because they didn't participate during the ICO, makes them not be stake holders the time and energy plus resources you spent performing your bounty tasks is money also and as such payout should not be thrown away at a very cheap price.

905  Other / Meta / Re: Idea: Courses on: July 08, 2018, 10:42:17 PM

 - A long & advanced course on implementing a Bitcoin-like cryptocurrency largely from scratch in Python or another easy language. (Some of my best courses in university had this model, where you're provided a bunch of library code and then you glue it together by writing a few hundred lines for each assignment, at the end of the course getting some sort of complete thing.)

This will be good. some days back, I was looking to see if i could find any thread that was about basic programming lessons for a starter. I got some feedback about where I can learn from the scratch and I have started. This will be a more added advantage to me when i have the basic knowledge of programming languages.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: July 08, 2018, 10:28:12 PM
For a while now, tokens keeps dropping price wise upon being listed on exchange. I would advice you not to buy because the token was newly listed but check if it has the potential to push up and maintain the movement for a while. It is better you dont enter a trade than losing out on it at the end of the day.  Do some quick check before making any investment.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: July 08, 2018, 10:18:18 PM
I think that 95% of crypto coins and tokens won't survive and the reason is that a crypto coin in order to survive and get value it has to be accepted as a way of payment for purchase goods or services.
Very few coins will manage to do it at the end of the day and of course these coins will get enormous value.
The only thing you have to do is to find out which coins will enter the market of real currencies.

I also think that most of them will not survive but the 95% is too high. I believe about 70% rather will not survive. Looking at the situation now most of the coins are scam and it has flooded the crypto market just to fraud people and destroy the image of crypto currency. Others too because it can stand the competition with other project and tokens, they lost their value and vanish from the system.
Yes, this is another instance the scam coins that have filled the market and how pump and dump groups manipulate the price for their own ends. With time, it will get filtered and the ones that will survive, we will see their real value and how well they can perform price wise.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: July 08, 2018, 10:16:12 PM
When all of this bear run is over, and in times to come, the only cryptocurrency that will survive are those who have use case and active development team. Not just coins with use case and dead or inactive team members. The shilling period I feel is over and survival will be competitive from now hence forth. While investing, take care to do the right investment.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 08, 2018, 10:05:21 PM
There is not any measure to determine how much exactly you can earn, all you need do to make as much as you would want to , is to apply yourself, be proactive, do multiple research, be patient and take part in as much projects as you can. Be it ICOs, trading or bounty campaigns. Anyone you can lay your hands on do it very well.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed and crypto !! on: July 08, 2018, 09:59:02 PM
Of a truth, those two words are inseparable. Everyone in this space have had a share of the former. You have a trade going in your favor you ignore the sell signals because you want it to move up more and most times, this trades go against us and we come crashing down heavily. To survive, we need to be guided, directed and focused making sound investment decisions.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150 Ethereum. How can I grow/increase this amount? on: July 08, 2018, 09:39:38 PM
You can invest $ 50 dollar in three ICO for example.
I don't think his problem is how many ICO he can split the invetment funds into. He is trying to know if ICOs are really a means to increase his money. But to me from my recent experience so far i would advice him to look some where else.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150 Ethereum. How can I grow/increase this amount? on: July 08, 2018, 09:37:35 PM
From my understanding so far, ICOs are no longer profitable if you are looking at it as a measure to increase your funds as majority of projects go below 70% from their ICO price once they are listed on exchange. I would advice you to start trading with the funds you have irrespective of how risky trading as well but you can make something from it if you manage your funds wisely.

914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 02, 2018, 08:50:11 AM
I think, there is no fixed amount that you can gain from altcoins just do your due diligence and get as much as you can. Practice strong risk management too.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: July 02, 2018, 08:48:50 AM

Please I wanted to ask, if there is any thread that someone can learn programming from. I have been looking around for such threads for a while now. I would like to purse a programming career.

Do you mean programming in general? Well if that is what you actually meant, in here you will find some bitcoin or crypto related programming, but most of all in a very specific way (mostly related to bitcoin or cryptos, of course, since you are in a bitcoin forum  Grin).

If you just want to start programming since the very beginning and in different languages, take a look at this website: https://www.codecademy.com/
You will find many free courses in CodeAcademy regarding programming.
Hope it helps

917  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best & Safe wallet of crypto store on: July 01, 2018, 07:35:26 PM
Cold storage wallets are the best. But if you need something you can easily access at all times, do look at wallets that give you full control of your funds like private keys.
918  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Airdrops on: July 01, 2018, 07:28:13 PM
I am scared of airdrops because a friend of mine sometime in May filled his private key in the form and he got hacked of his life savings. Be careful out there.
