701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to exchange your altcoins for dollars or btc? on: January 03, 2019, 07:46:19 AM
I believe that those of us involved in the field of cryptocurrencies should feel compelled to act in accordance with our ideals and therefore, we should prioritize the accumulation of bitcoins before the accumulation of dollars.

We must always keep in mind that one of the reasons that led to the emergence of cryptocurrencies is the search for alternatives to fiat money, therefore there would be no reason for us to exchange our valuable cryptos for centralized money.
It's a two way thing don't you think? In times as we've been for a year now if one stayed in USD by this time last year, they could've bought more Btc with their USD in December last year. The thing is know when to stay in USD and when to stay in Bitcoin.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: January 02, 2019, 08:54:23 AM
We shouldn't take it that way, we all should look at it from the angle that such projects might be trying to be GDPR compliant to ensure they abide by the laws and to also checkmate people investing to make sure they're allowed by law to take part in cryptocurrencies.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: January 02, 2019, 08:52:17 AM
Giving up is the worst thing to do. Learning our lessons and moving on with better decisions and choices is just the best. If we make decisions on impulse, we might miss out on the big deal but I will advice we take profits when seen, invest in something else.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: January 01, 2019, 12:54:41 PM
Getting huge tokens depends on the amount given by the team for the bounty. What happens when people get such token is they either sell or hodl. Another thing is the quantity of tokens gotten doesn't really mean much as the price of such tokens might still be below 10$ for say 100k tokens.

706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to cryptocurrency?! on: December 29, 2018, 07:30:28 AM
Nothing has happen to crypto Currency just that some Brokers are manipulating the market because they want  to hold more bitcoin for next bull run..  crypto  broker always buy bitcoin at exchange market price so always they dumps few coins in exchange like binance so that weak Holder can sell to them at cheat price ..  so keep holding for the next bull run !!
Manipulations keeps killing the market especially when Wall Street guys wants to buy in cheaper they will suppress the price until it gets to their buy zone once they are done buying the amounts they want to buy, they will make sure the price is pushed up they sell thereby dumping on the average Joe who just came in.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to cryptocurrency?! on: December 29, 2018, 07:28:23 AM
I think that crypto will rise back up when it will become more convenient and will be used in everyday life again. It will be a slow climb though.
Mass adoption will make the difference. When the masses are educated, nurtured and waxes stronger in the understanding of the complexities inherent in the use of cryptocurrency and it becomes simplified to them, then will cryptocurrency start going up and up.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: December 28, 2018, 06:01:13 AM
The investors and the real whales are enjoying their holidays now, there's no more time for crypto for them only joy and happyness, lol.
I think that there will be some pumps coming in the upcoming weeks but we must learn from the past, no FOMO and no ridiculus buys because they will make our btc non valuable. In the same time, these fake pumps and these stupid peoples are the reason behind the bull runs so we might need em to make more money, lol.
In short, investors are not available now, try to find em after february.
How certain is it that these investors will show up come February. Yes I agree we all need them and their money to move the market even if it's a little bit up we sure do need them
If the investors and whales decide to leave, we will suffer for a very long time.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: December 28, 2018, 05:57:53 AM
Every bounty that implements the KYC system does not mean that their bounties are a scam. KYC is applied to minimize the possibility of fraud that can be done by the participants. For those of you who want to join the bounties with KYC, as much as possible make sure the bounties are truly safe and promising for their future. So that the results of bounties can still produce decent value for the future.
It prote ts fraudulent activities and also enables only eligible participants to participate in the campaign. Some countries restricts its citizens from taking part in crypto, KYC helps projects especially those who are government complaints to be faithful to the law guiding them.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: December 27, 2018, 05:08:12 AM
I don't think so. KYC is to prove participants are real and not just some random guys abusing the said campaign from time to time with multiple accounts. Although one can't tell what their KYC details are used for, but it's good to an extent.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: December 27, 2018, 05:06:11 AM
This year many ico failed and this caused investors to withdraw their shares, hopefully in the future there will be a lot of improvements for ico to be able to run better so that it will be more attractive to investors, hopefully next year is a good year for ico to rise
ICOs not only failed, some were exit scams and investors lost a huge sum of money to such scams. The ICOs that weren't scams turned to nothing on getting to exchanges all this, made investors grow cold feet to invest more.

BTC was overvalued at the end of last year and this year there were more sellers than buyers, as a result of which the price went down.
It's not like there were more sellers than buyers this year, the price has been majorly manipulated by various big players, institutions trying to buy in cheaper. Btc asnt over valued it was hyped and many people bought the tops.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum lowest price on: December 25, 2018, 08:29:08 PM
Last year ethereum also experienced a decline as it is now, but to my knowledge does the price not fall as badly as this? how could this happen? what is behind it?
It got worst this time around, there were many things at play which led to the dump that never ended. Manipulations were high and many lost fate thereby leaving their positions at a very big loss.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It might not be easy, you just have to let go on: December 25, 2018, 08:24:31 PM
Yes that is true it's almost a year since the dip started and yet no sign of recovery it gets worst every day and when there is a slight change in the market, it dips even more. The goal now is to be steadfast and hope everything gets better.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull run this year?! For real? on: December 21, 2018, 05:18:39 AM
The market seems to have bottomed and somewhat stabilizing. If it can keep up with this pace showing greens here and there I think it's better than massive decline from time to time. It must not be a major bull run but steady green on a daily basis ensures organic growth

718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt my lessons on: December 20, 2018, 09:55:26 PM
What I Wil always advice and would wish we all follow is take profits when in profit, be quick to cut loss, make sure your capital is intact don't mess with it. A 5% loss will take a long time to recover so its better one get a tiny profit than losing. We should learn what to do when trades go either in our favour or against us.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: December 20, 2018, 09:51:53 PM
Crypto isn't regulated as such, tax will not be well monitored. Also the anonymity which cryptocurrency is introducing coupled with ease of payment across border is elimating governments full Co teol over individuals transactions. It's something beyond their control that's why I think government don't like crypto.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: December 19, 2018, 01:23:48 AM
The only way is going through a projects official site to get necessary information we need especially during ICOs. Secondly staying away from telegram PMs and studying a project before we invest in it. The most important way is curbing greed as greed leads u to be easily enticed and vulnerable to scam.
