I agree about changing the name. I don't own many alts but I like the direction and community buzz around this coin. As Jonesd mentioned, the marketcap is peanuts right now as well.

6d. Basic Folding – This is the original folding format and is still supported today. This format strictly requires your Counterwallet address ONLY. The other limitation to this is you MUST be on team 226728. You cannot be on other teams and do this format. Your donor name should be modeled as such:
“CounterwalletAddress” this is the set up i choose. do i still get folding coin?
You must be on team 226728 though doing this format, so make sure you do not forget this ok first tried folding 0n team 226728 but got zero, tried entering name-fdlc-counterparty wallet with new key , joined a team and still nothing??? saying all went to team?? how do you find info on teams and what are the benifits. Sorry if causing confusion am a noob at this folding. Great to see new people!  On a daily basis it is calculated how much you contributed and you will get the coins in your counterwallet. Once you start folding, you will get awarded points for the amount of packages you have folded. Just be patient |

Devs didn't deliver...a delay is possible but johnyxcash promised a revised roadmap "shortly". Meanwhile 9 days have gone....

I agree, we we need fresh blood. I was in contact with the devs a lot and I know the development of xMarket turned out to be much more difficult than expected. I think they will put this lower on the priority list most likely. Still the coin has not changed. I liked this coin for the fundamental features and not for these extra ones, so I will keep holding and supporting it. The team is still motivated to work on the coin, but the time frame will probably be different. I'll tell you when I know more. @Jonesd Now we need to gain more investors with money to keep buy presure and make a trade volume. I think it's more important, than any updates of roadmap. Do you, or anyone of community, have an idea how to do it? I'm just some guy that tried to get more info out about the development. Not really that much of a trader I have put some buy support, but somebody keep overbidding me, so I guess somebody is working hard to get some coins. |

I think changing the name/ branding of GamersCoin (GMC) to ORB (ORBS) would be better for marketing etc. ORBS has a gaming analogy that most gamers would recognize. Differentiate ourselves from the 'atlcoin' stigma. Only my opinion of course Your the second person mentioning that, so perhaps it is something more people want. I guess Dr. Bob has to give his opinion on it. |

Would not be surprised if BTC takes another value jump in December and I think altcoins will exponentially grow with that. I'll get myself some extra HVC.

no bro m new to it.. need some guidance they made some good tutorial and videos the LTB forum is only optional start with setting up a counterparty wallet account, and then run folding@home client I was also unfamiliar, but these guides make it really clear, indeed. |

Saturday UpdatePosted on January 17, 2015 by Robert Ross- The most exciting news of the week is that FLDC is now trading on Poloniex! With the first day of trading being yesterday, on Poloniex almost 10 BTC was traded in volume and that helped increase the volume at MastXchange which did nearly 6 BTC totaling nearly 16 BTC of volume yesterday! We still have some more exchanges we would like to get on and emails still are going out all the time with requests. You can still vote on AskCoin and we are currently in 5th place over there.
- I have been working on the new tutorial video and picture guides and have many of them complete. Please take the time to check them out or direct your friends who are not folding yet over there for detailed steps on getting folding and other configuration setup. Plese email me with any other videos or walk troughs that may be handy to have as I will create them rross@foldingcoin.net
- James has been working hard on the new distribution code and testing is going smoothly. We want to make sure any kind of bug is worked out of the system before we release on Feb 5th, but we should have to problems hitting that mark. Get ready to Merge Fold
- We all have been doing Skype meetings all week with new potential partnerships, potential developers, and just general folks who are interested in the project. We love doing Skype’s with everyone and anyone for any reason.
