Nice, was wondering if this hard fork was going to happen. The new splash screen on loadup is kickass. Nice job ThunderToe. Here's to many 40% stakes every month Do you have to keep the wallet running 24/7 for that or a certain minimum amount per day? thanks to Noise23 (coding), ladywhalecoin (logos) and Ron (compiles) and the rest that are always pitching in. http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/TEK/index.phphas a graph showing where pos rate is atm. you get the "current" rate whatever that is when your stake actually mints. you only need to open your wallet after 30 days. You can wait longer if the stake rate is moving up or down, you will keep earning and may hit a higher payout rate. However this will cost you compounding time, and having all your coins in 1 chunk will make it tough to trade since if you move them you lose your coinage and have to start back at day 1. having 1 block staking a day or every week makes it a little easier to trade the market i think. Does it automatically stake again after the 30 days or do you have to move the coins?

Was looking for an undervalued coin and TEKcoin caught my eye. The Dev seems legit and the coin is on two pretty good exchanges. I wonder what the backstory is. Did this used to be on bigger exchanges? Any dev changes?
Crapsty screw most of us , and no change in devs but its a great team with some devs from other coins helping out here Lot of coins still on Cryptsy?

I'm curious why this would be a better alternative for transacting in games then credit cards?
Also, how well has the market adopted the gamecredits model?
..... Best Lord Gabe Wow, that is a very insightful response, Gabe! Nice one

A note to all our partners and services using GameCredits: We are switching from GMC to GAME ticker. Please do your part and update the settings on your side. Thank you.
I noticed that on coinmarketcap already. I think it makes a lot of sense I like the change too. Always nice to see legendary members like windjc popping up. Probably one of the best indications a coin is on the right track is having senior bitcointalk member on your thread

good episode, FoldingCoin mentioned too i though she only talk about DASH Hi FoldingCoin community, I was very honored to see Amanda mention EverGreenCoin alongside FoldingCoin and Folding@Home in this episode of The Daily Decrypt as your project and Folding@Home are extremely honorable projects and ones I have been personally a longtime supporter of, in anyway possible. ( http://us.newsbtc.com/foldinghome-foldingcoin-mining-for-medical-cures-part-1/ Yes it's me, Steve (CryptoCanary)) SalimNagamato, DASH is a paid sponsor of The Daily Decrypt and to a large extent. To be perfectly honest, EverGreenCoin had paid a small amount to get a short mention on a previous episode but not this one so, of course I am very pleased for the added exposure of EverGreenCoin alongside such noble projects and at no additional cost. I do hope all projects gain from this exposure. Please, keep up the great work FoldingCoin and Folders! We're very grateful for your support! Interesting episode! Why not have a meeting on both days this time? It seems like there is enough to talk about. (Note: Noobs on this forum can't vote in polls) I would vote for Saturday, but I'm not always available at that time either day.
Without much advertising this year, there haven't been a lot of new people to tap into for filling the positions needed.
I would like to help out, but I know I can't make much of a commitment.
Thats a good idea, I have both those days blocked out and we can have 2 live meetings in which we cover this information. So I will host them live at 3pm EST each day on 3/26 and 3/27. And yes its very hard to find people, after doing this for so many hours each week for almost 2 years I am out of time to do what I have done before with FoldingCoin. But thats why the hope is we can get FoldingCoin working %100 automatically with the new code I want to pay for so that way it doesn't need much love and care. Then after thats done people will join the community when we have a really good working model. Until then everyone please volunteer to help where you can. I was away for the week, so it's nice to see some activity here. I am okay with having a public meeting on Saturday where we address the topics and also have some discussion with community members and we post this on Youtube. On Sunday we can have an additional meeting for people that would like to discuss things, but seems a bit unnecessary to rehash the information from the day before that since people can also see it on youtube.

What´s up with the Grand Prix? News about GMC? Is this coin still "alive"?
Very much alive! Thanks for bringing that one up. It was about time to inform the community about GP, we felt the obligation and guilt at the same time: as you might know, the TC/GP was a single dev project and the dev didn't delivered what's promised. Even worse, he went dark. So, on dec 30th Nele and i travelled for roughly 750 kilometers to pay him a personal visit. And we made the agreement: the game will be up and running till Jan 5th. Obviously that didn't happened. The good thing is we cloned the source code and engaged another dev to complete the game. Since mid January we have 6 full time devs, 7 since last week. They're all working full throttle on projects from the roadmap and some awesome side GameCredits projects y'all gonna love! Yes, building monetization infrastructure is our priority, and, yes, we promised the GP. Therfor i'm not going to make any 'set in stone' promises regarding the GP but we'll give our best shot to make it fully functional for CoinFest UK. We're sticking to the roadmap and the big dates are right behind the corner. GameCredits is more than a project for us, and, i dare to say, there's just a few other teams that share the same passion for their projects as we do for GameCredits. Great the project is still up and running! Ironic you had to drive a GP yourselves to get it back on track!

Announcement
Just had a long chat with Robert about the way we want to handle the future of FoldingCoin. We had a good run until now, but we feel we can persuade a lot more people to start folding and also get more other coins and organizations involved.
We have some ideas and would like to share and discuss them with the community in a meeting via Google Hangout this month. We were thinking about having it either on Saturday March 26 or Sunday March 27 at 3PM EST/ 8PM GMT/ 9PM CET.
It would be great to know if you would be interested to join and what day you would prefer. We will also post a poll in this topic so people can vote on what day we will have it.

Nice work. Getting spread out gets new eyes on the project and potentially new community members. Very well done!

This is a really innovative approach and as shareholder I can say that it is even more satisfactory than mining.

I am fairly confident DIgiByte will have a double digits market cap this year This is like buying bitcoins when it was still 20 cents. do you think that the Friday conference will affect the price of digibyte? (Public vs Private Blockchains: A DigiByte perspective) It might have something to do with it, personally I am more excited about the fact that I now know the face behind Digibyte (the team) and considering who is involved, I think it's only a matter of time before DigiByte will be listed on Chinese exchanges, the gaming thing will also become huge, micro consumer transactions should be implemented etc. I am all in this for the long term, like Hannibal who used to make plans in the A team, and eventually he said, laughing with a cigar, "i love it when a plan comes together". For me DGB is like that, so I don't care so much about the price fluctuations in the short term, maybe I'll consider selling when DGB hit the 10 cents 1 dollar range Looking at other scamcoins lately. It's completly doable for a serious one like DGB The one dollar range would mean surpassing the current bitcoin market cap. Not impossible, but I'm looking forward to the $0.01 first I think that a market cap of 60 million and passing DOGE is not unlikely.

Every dev owns at least 10% of his coin. If I was georgem, I would have 1 million of SPR in many accounts.
I have enough. Neither I nor mr. spread ever had that many SPR, we barely touch the top 10. Devs that get ahold of 10% of the coin mostly manage to do that by having weird premine/instamine schemes, etc... None of that crap with Spreadcoin! I guess our wannabe whale has just been our most loyal fan over the last months, good for him. Just focus on your goals and don't let fud take you down

Thanks I also joined the slack, so will alway be up to date. The guldenshares page does not really show a lot of explanation. Is it collective mining or something?

Yes, using 2FA They seem to be claiming it is fixed now on twitter "This is fixed now. Sorry for the inconvenience." If you look at the response of the person below, it seems he/she is still unable to login. Same for me. Now it says "The service is unavailable.", so I suppose they're fixing it.
