So the 1000 deposit stops working when block 160k is reached and then you need 5000. It is impossible though to get the transaction ID to start your masternode before that time. Nobody will be able to get a 5k masternode going before the rules will chain.
How will we actually continue the chain at that point as no masternode can be operational? Am I missing something here?

i dont think so, monacoin are nonly located in japan, there is no effort from them to make, at least , english informations about dev Monacoin has always been very close to bitcoin. Nothing out of the ordinary. |

Reading through all the docs, it's still hard to see why this chain is better than every other community platform.
It is hard to detect the community behind the platform from just reading the texts. I was introduced to Crown while talking to Higherbridge in Rotterdam. Looking deeper into the coin I noticed there were a lot of people involved in it and the monthly budget leads to community projects like expo stands and marketing campaigns. Getting the community involved like this is pretty rare in a coin so, combined with the low price, it seemed like a sure bet to me. |

great website, great design, but timing could not be worse. Just when market started crashing, via releases website. Tough luck, as usual.
It is never a good time. When the market goes up, the newsfeed is cluttered with all these other coin updates. Releasing the site in a period that we're going upward like now (just look at rise over last weeks) with the crypto markets makes sense. People losing value in other coins might persuade them to switch to VIA. Delaying the release would have not made sense either. In short, stop being so negative, man.  |

Bittrex support is bullshit today : they do not answer my question but says generalities about maintenances.
This is the Bittrex support answer to the unavailable XZC wallet in their exchange : XZC wallet will remain in maintenance until the network is determined to be stable and secure. At this time there is no ETA for when that will happen. Is there some issues with the XZC network My personnal wallet is syncing well and no problem in my side... For you, any issue ? I suspect there was an issue with the French drop update ( https://zcoin.io/zcoin-0-13-5-7-french-drop-upgrade-guide/) and many nodes were dropped from the network. All my updated nodes required a new start and then expired. I had to fully reset the VPSs and do the regular install all over again: https://zcoin.io/zcoin-znode-setup-guide/. They are fine now. UPDATE: it is likely many people still have version ~.7 or lower and can get their znode running again with this guide: https://zcoinkb.wordpress.com/2018/05/07/0-13-5-7-nodes-in-expired-status/ You will still need a restart of the node. I think that Viacoin investors should sell their coins at the moment to take profits and wait several days to buy back Viacoin at cheaper price. The coin has to be corrected before moving upward to higher prices. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/viacoin/Selling on a Wednesday is about the worst thing you can do in trading. Selling when the market is bullish to possibly buy back later is also very risky, because Viacoin has made many large jumps in its history. Just HODL |

40sc/tb/month don't seem a good profit given the present price. 40sc ~0.8 $ which cannot afford for the electric fee.  If you were planning to host with only 1TB attached to a laptop... Yeah, definitely don't do it. However, if what you have is 16-40TB in a machine that consumes only 50W (An HP Microserver, a Raspberry Pi with disks attached) the electric consume becomes almost irrelevant. It is like mining with GPUs: just because it is not profitable with a laptop or desktop using an old GT730, it doesn't mean mining is not profitable at all: just find the appropriate hardware. And if you have a server or a NAS that is already connected 24/7 with free space on its disks, then hosting is a awesome idea, as there are no overhead costs Would be nice if there was a guide on how to do this. Also, sounds like something a small company could produce and sell via resellers with a nice profit. If anybody is up to the task, I would likely purchase one. |

because the coin should have a usecase ...and for zcoin its the "payment possibility"
and if there are no coins out ...because all are locked its getting useless..thats why

also as the masternodes are "taking care" of the transactions, if all coins are locked ...then there arent transactions anymore (very very less) so no need for a masternode as well
Well, it's a bit more than that, it's: (from the white paper) Zerocoin is a distributed e-cash scheme that provides strong user anonymity and coin security under the assumption that there is a distributed, online, append-only transaction store. I think you're referring to high velocity and this is actually something you want to prevent: https://www.coindesk.com/blockchain-token-velocity-problem/As masternodes require quite a high amount of coins, the risk of it all being used for masternodes is very low, Currently we're at just below 60%: https://masternodes.online/currencies/XZC/ This is similar to DASH (59.3%) and CROWN (59+7%). We're only at 4.5 mln XZC of the final 21.4 million. Restricting it to a certain amount would mean it is very hard to get a new masternode for a new entrant. Also, the 2500 masternodes would only be about 10% of the final distribution of the coin, so far too low. |

yes thats not good ....there should be a limit of 5000 masternodes even if all coins are out...that would be then a good percentage of 25% Masternodes....
its shouldnt be possible to set up more then 60% masternodes or later on if all coins are out ..about max 35%
I don't see why there should be a limit to the amount of masternodes. |

Am I late to buy EXP Now the price is sitting at 23k satoshi. I see 2 weeks ago EXP was at 15-17k satoshi. Please let friends know. thank you I think it's not late to buy Expanse because in the future you will gain more benefits through it. Yes, this coin last year was worth the equivalent of rads. Rads price is currently 50-60k sat but the price of exp is only about 20-30k. Though In terms of exp technology is more advanced than rads, what's wrong with exp? There's twice as many EXP around, so hard to compare. The market cap of exp is around 15mln and RADS around 20, so not that big a difference. About a month ago, RADS even had a lower marker cap than Expanse, so comparison does not really make sense anyway. |
