201  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: January 31, 2019, 04:06:05 PM
The post is very educative and informative as well.
You did well poster.
I usually laugh when some people say that banks would go into extinction in the future because of cryptocurrency.
What these set of people do not know is that every business do try to adjust to changes to suit their teeming customers from time to time.
And that goes to show that should Cryptocurrency take over , banks would also change gear and adjust.
202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Seems to me Bitcoin is getting over the bear sh*t on: January 31, 2019, 04:01:36 PM
Although I'm not one who much attention to price prediction these days because I have got my fingers burnt more than twice following price prediction signal channels on telegram.
But from my little experience, I agree that the bearish market maybe having it's last breath.
Hopefully, we see bull run soon.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 30, 2019, 12:36:27 PM
But we all know that collection of taxes from Cryptocurrency holders is a task that is almost impossible, except of course it's to be collected Ted by exchanges.
The reason is that there are no known Cryptocurrency regulatory body and Cryptocurrency is decentralized .
So how will the tax collection be implemented and subsequently executed?
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, who hasn't lost coins or been scammed? on: January 30, 2019, 12:29:28 PM
My friend got scammed because of her greediness.
She saw a mail asking her to do verification for one Airdrops, she clicked on it and started in putting her details.
Not knowing that the mew link that was provided is a phished site.
That was how she was locked out of her wallet and all her coins gone for good.
It was very painful.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: January 30, 2019, 12:25:32 PM
I didn't buy bitcoin when it was $19k probably because I didn't have money then.
If I had , I'm very sure I would have bought because the hypewas very high that year .
I would have fomoed and bought.
But I know people who bought in at that price.....one person attempted suicide last year when the price tanked to $6k.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: January 29, 2019, 07:21:39 AM
Most of the criterias you mentioned above are how I choose too.
The project must have serious investors.
There must be good degree of activities on their telegram group irrespective of the number of subscribers.
The white paper must be coherent enough.
The qualification and previous experience of the team members also.
The usecase of the projects product and if it's capable of improving on the blockchain technology to support widespread adoption.
Then hype.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: January 29, 2019, 07:16:38 AM
I think how 9ften one checks the coin market website is determinant on certain factors such as , day trading, short term or long term investment.
Those who are into day trading are the ones that frequent that site for coin information as well as making research.
Then the short /long term investors do not seem to bother checking the website every now and then except when otherwise very necessary.
I belong to the later group.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I buy bitcoin or litecoin? on: January 29, 2019, 07:12:44 AM
Both are good coins but I will be basing my advice on your financial strength here.
In my opinion, I think going for litecoin would be the best investment move.
That $150 can get you over 4 litecoins ....So it's advisable you go for it than investing in bitcoin.
Litecoin has the capacity of doing *2,3 in no distant time.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: January 29, 2019, 07:08:17 AM
You made a very good assertion and I agree completely with you that we shouldn't quitinvesting because of the present market condition that seems to be an unfavorable atmosphere for investment.
I have come to understand that the big investors who believe and have so much confidence in Cryptocurrency are not relenting in investing even hugely.
That should encourage people who are skeptical of investment now.

211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: January 26, 2019, 06:28:39 PM
One thing about this Cryptocurrency market is that the factors of demand and supply do not in any way determine price of coins ..
The market is a speculative one .
What I 'm trying to say here is that ,there are some low volume coins that I Kniw did excellently well beyond expectations when the right speculation are build around it.
It is risky although but tell me of any risk free investment.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin the survival of the fittest on: January 25, 2019, 10:40:52 AM
I agree that bitcoin is the survival of the fittest.
You really need a lot of liver to be able to invest in bitcoin.
A Lily livered fellow would find it difficult surviving in this bitcoin market.
The reason behind my assertion is that the bitcoin investment is one that is highly risky consider that the high volatile nature of it.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a better store of value than gold on: January 25, 2019, 10:36:25 AM
I think both are good in storing value but personally, gold would be the best option because it does not have a volatile nature like bitcoin.
Gold is a good store of value for me.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy real estate for bitcoins in the future. on: January 25, 2019, 10:33:08 AM
The last poster is right by advising you migrate to Dubai as that the place I know you can get real estate for Cryptocurrency.
I wish you luck in your endeavors.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The market is recovering or just adjusting to the price . news on: January 25, 2019, 10:30:03 AM
After the market surge of 2017 and the attendant bearish market that endued in 2028 , I think it won't be out of place to say that market is recovering presently.
Hopefully, it recovers fully soon.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized System Disadvantages on: January 25, 2019, 10:26:38 AM
I think the disadvantages of decentralized system is the issue of control or regulation.
Lack of regulation in the Cryptocurrency space for example is the main reason why there are proliferation of ico projects.
Another disadvantage is the issue of security, as a breach in one system may likely affect other systems .
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for Bounty participants on: January 24, 2019, 11:29:59 AM
The ico Market seems to have crashed and it will take only icos that has strong product to survive in this market.
So bounty hunters should be very cautious in picking bounty programs so that they do not end up working for nothing at the end of the day.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can less the unemployment rate? on: January 24, 2019, 11:22:16 AM
I agree partially with the assertion that bitcoin would decrease unemployment rate is bitcoin is adopted as a payment medium.
The thing is that, I am sure that many would venture into trading and other things to make money .
However ,the percentage would not be much.
So bitcoin adoption can only decrease unemployment rate slightly.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: January 24, 2019, 11:12:47 AM
If you have been in Cryptocurrency for long ,you would have known by now that the market is highly volatile and that's clearly it's nature.
And that prices swings both ways not because of the factors of demand and supply but mainly by speculation.
Bitcoin has come to stay and so nothing like it bursting .
220  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: January 23, 2019, 08:05:15 AM
If I had $10k dollars , I would first invest in low cap coins like Rpm.
Then invest some portion of what's remaining in eoeos, ont, waves, etheruem , ripple and Tron in that order .
I can't be able to predict correctly the return on investment that would accrue Iver a 2 year period but I can tell that it would be reasonable.... because the above mentioned coins are good altcoins.
