301  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: December 17, 2018, 07:21:08 AM
I actually do spend time in bitcoin because I consider it a means of earning passive income and it has been helpful as I have been able to sort out some personal financial challenges spending time in bitcoin.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: December 17, 2018, 07:03:52 AM
I used to panic and sell my holdings at the rising of any rumour even though it's my loss.
But now I prefer to hold pending when market recovers instead of just selling at a loss....which causes more dumping from weak hands and makes for price tank and unstable market.

306  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: December 16, 2018, 07:36:44 AM
I do not think that Cryptocurrency can ever replace Fiat currency.
Because both Cryptocurrency and fiat has different functions, so Cryptocurrency cannot function well as fiat.
It's a decentralized virtual currency while fiat is paper money.

307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is a poor form of money for terrorists. on: December 16, 2018, 07:31:51 AM
In 2008 when Satoshi created Bitcoin/ Cryptocurrency, I believe he never intended I usage to be abused the way it's being abused in recent times. Yes. I agree that the annonymous structure of the blockchain makes it easy for some elements to carry out criminal activities using it.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity entering the crypto world on: December 16, 2018, 07:25:36 AM
This is really a good news at this time in the history of Cryptocurrency market and the blockchain technology.
I believe this single development would get other companies earger to get into the Cryptocurrency space .....which will undoubtedly drive adoption rate.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns. on: December 15, 2018, 08:38:52 AM
I am yet to receive any token aside the repme token I received from bountysuite earlier on.
The situation is pathetic .
I want to believe that the ico project developers are busy looking for investors.
We should relax and do our tasks as the situation would not be like this perpetually.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: December 15, 2018, 08:31:48 AM
I mostly spend my time in bitcoin researching and acquiring knowledge that would help me make some money off Bitcoin.
As a matter of fact, I spend nothing less than 5hrs daily on cryptocurrency.
Might I add that it's been paying off.....as I can now  pay some of my bills without depending on hubby for virtually everything.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: December 15, 2018, 08:27:57 AM
The future of cryptocurrency is good .
The foresighted ones are now taking advantage of the market situation and  bagging more coins they could afford.
This is actually the best time to invest in cryptocurrency to be able to reap high return on investment in no distant time.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need bitcoin in the modern world? on: December 15, 2018, 08:23:39 AM
Remember bitcoin is synonymous to the blockchain technology.
Might I add that the blockchain is one of the biggest technologies in recent times that has the capability to distrupt the way and manner businesses operate.
With bitcoin in play, the supply chains of industries, payment system can be greatly improved on.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? How did they approached you? on: December 14, 2018, 08:16:22 AM
I have not been scammed but I almost got scammed early this year.
I opened my mail and saw a message asking that I confirm my etheruem wallet address for onward receipt of an airdrop that I never did applied for.
The money was huge, so I clicked on the link provided, it took me to my eth wallet page ,then it dawned on me that it could be scammers.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed, bull run begins now, what expectations? on: December 14, 2018, 08:12:12 AM
I have been hearing about bull run starting this time from earlier this year and still the reverse has been the case.
Now there's a rumour making the rounds that bull run would start February 2019,I wish this is true .
I 'm tired of the present market condition.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with banks you have faced on: December 14, 2018, 08:03:19 AM
I have faced the challenge of having to wait for days to get the bank to effect the change of my signature .....it was friustrating because I needed cash urgently that period to tidy some personal financial crisis .
Reason I prefer cryptocurrency over banks ,cause I can lay hold of my funds anywhere, anytime as I deem fit.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2018, 07:58:43 AM
The truth is this...despite the fact that bitcoin's price has been dwindling badly the past few weeks doesn't in any way translate to game over for it.

Bitcoin has huge untapped market and potentials and so cannot just go into extinction now.
The core feature of is volatility, it means that the dwindling price will not be permanent.
So there's still hope.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs? on: December 13, 2018, 05:21:38 PM
Yes.If there is actually a way to do that. It would not only save investors from jumping into scam ICos projects , but boosts confidence of investors.
You can imagine a situation where so many ico projects are being brought into the already unstable market daily, with most of the projects trying to solve the blockchain challenge already been handle by another ico projects.
We just need order in this market.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2018, 05:10:05 PM
The success of bitcoin cannot be measured by the rate it's been sold now.
I can say bitcoin has been successful compared to what obtained in the last couple of years.
We could see companies, industries implementing the blockchain technology these days.
The bitcoin's adoption rate also increased .
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 13, 2018, 04:55:59 PM
Not at all.
It's never a bad idea to hold bitcoin now because it is the only good strategy, as selling would amount to you selling below the rate you actually bought and that would result total loss of funds.
