I do not think that Cryptocurrency can ever replace Fiat currency. Because both Cryptocurrency and fiat has different functions, so Cryptocurrency cannot function well as fiat. It's a decentralized virtual currency while fiat is paper money.

In 2008 when Satoshi created Bitcoin/ Cryptocurrency, I believe he never intended I usage to be abused the way it's being abused in recent times. Yes. I agree that the annonymous structure of the blockchain makes it easy for some elements to carry out criminal activities using it.

I am yet to receive any token aside the repme token I received from bountysuite earlier on. The situation is pathetic . I want to believe that the ico project developers are busy looking for investors. We should relax and do our tasks as the situation would not be like this perpetually.

I mostly spend my time in bitcoin researching and acquiring knowledge that would help me make some money off Bitcoin. As a matter of fact, I spend nothing less than 5hrs daily on cryptocurrency. Might I add that it's been paying off.....as I can now pay some of my bills without depending on hubby for virtually everything.

The future of cryptocurrency is good . The foresighted ones are now taking advantage of the market situation and bagging more coins they could afford. This is actually the best time to invest in cryptocurrency to be able to reap high return on investment in no distant time.

With bitcoin in play, the supply chains of industries, payment system can be greatly improved on.

I have been hearing about bull run starting this time from earlier this year and still the reverse has been the case. Now there's a rumour making the rounds that bull run would start February 2019,I wish this is true . I 'm tired of the present market condition.

I have faced the challenge of having to wait for days to get the bank to effect the change of my signature .....it was friustrating because I needed cash urgently that period to tidy some personal financial crisis . Reason I prefer cryptocurrency over banks ,cause I can lay hold of my funds anywhere, anytime as I deem fit.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin?
|
on: December 14, 2018, 07:58:43 AM

The truth is this...despite the fact that bitcoin's price has been dwindling badly the past few weeks doesn't in any way translate to game over for it.
Bitcoin has huge untapped market and potentials and so cannot just go into extinction now. The core feature of is volatility, it means that the dwindling price will not be permanent. So there's still hope.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs?
|
on: December 13, 2018, 05:21:38 PM

Yes.If there is actually a way to do that. It would not only save investors from jumping into scam ICos projects , but boosts confidence of investors. You can imagine a situation where so many ico projects are being brought into the already unstable market daily, with most of the projects trying to solve the blockchain challenge already been handle by another ico projects. We just need order in this market.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin?
|
on: December 13, 2018, 05:10:05 PM
|
The success of bitcoin cannot be measured by the rate it's been sold now. I can say bitcoin has been successful compared to what obtained in the last couple of years. We could see companies, industries implementing the blockchain technology these days. The bitcoin's adoption rate also increased .
