Well I have my coins staking now, wallet is open constantly, its nice. Quick question though: Why is everyone so quiet?
People are quiet on a lot of threads

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Coin has serious potential and Jared and his team seem to be working pretty hard on it, but there are adversaries every step. General population acceptance, competing coins, government regulations. We need to stay focused, not get too crazy and wild-eyed.
The most important things is that the word need to be spread about DGB. The wider the community, the more chance it will have to be a success and more projects will be built around the coin.

Nice updates I contacted the owner of one the EMC2 pool to answer the question the right way.

Getting people involved because they believe in the project is really hard. Good luck on that, curecoin is a good crypto and the devs are working hard.
The project needs to appear to be alive. That is very important. To attract attention it needs to. Don't have enough skills to help you

i have trouble with one of my computer using cgminer on r9 380 so i have same drivers; same amd apk 2.9 + 3 installed on all computer but one of them , the miner always stop , at variable time could be after 2 minutes or after more than 1 day it just stop mining but gpu is stil load at 100% some time it says stratum connection interrupted like there is no internet but sometime it s says nothing it just no mining, i see it on the pool in workers i also decrease gpu speed to stock because it was oc but it s not changing anything and on an other computer same r9 380 there si an other problem with exactly same setting & drivers the gpu won't load at 100% it s variable between 78% and 99% and i notice gpu clock is variable too it must run at 1080 but it s run between 1030-1050 , there is no power limit, anyway i tried -20% to +20% does change nothing i increase I8 to I9 but don't help -I 9 -w 256 --gpu-engine 1080 --thread-concurrency 8192 i add --thread-concurrency 8192 for test but it s not need it does not change anything, and i m not sure it s good number because that is for 280x mine is 380 ok i reboot this computer it s now working at full speed, but i check 1 our later it was again at variable lower speed Had a similar problem with 2 r7 260x, the miner would stop occasionnally for no reason. I installed cgwatcher and now i have no problem, the program reset the miner from time to time but it's always running.

Sadly Dan again failed to deliver (no idea how it's even possible), so I officially gave the task back to the other dev who I gave it to early last week, so he's now working on it full time and will finish it quickly. The really good news is that this UI dev will become a long term member of the IOTA community, so the UI will no longer be outsourced to someone who won't be able to keep up with maintenance etc. So in a sense, although the delay from Dan is unforgivable, it may have turned out for the better now that I got someone who is dedicated to IOTA to do it instead. So objectively I think we'll all see the incompetence of these other dev teams as a blessing in disguise in the long run.
That's a good news, to have someone who will stay with the project.

There are no "miners" left in alt markets. Just profit pools.
The new Scrypt asics out now are an order of magnitude more powerful than previous batch, we are looking at 100MHs asics for $1000.
That's impressive

hash rate droping. it was 2gh/s yesterday. it's now 0.7 gh/s. miners living this coin.
Not leaving, the wormhole is finished so its less profitable to mine the coin

...
Sounds good. Looks like a good place to get the word out.
We need to spread the word about EMC2, more people we get involved, more chances we have to make things big with EMC2 As I posted that on Poloniex trollbox, got a few friendly trolls asking if I am really the EMC2 dev ... hehe. Yes I am, can't code yet but am an accountant and business miracle performer advisor in London. A friendly Ether whale just gobbled someone's ill placed 2.4mil EMC2 for 0.86 btc on Polo and became the proud owner of 1% EMC2 just like that ... cheers who had that going spare. I do have 3x https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-3-model-b/ ordered finally, amazingly had RasPi 2 in cart all week, adding, removing things and left it to this morning, woke up to see RasPI 3 is out and way better than version 2. So the teen devs get 2 starter packs with 1 touchscreen addon thing and GameCredits dev gets one. They are so freaking cool, I am looking forward to messing around on one after I come back from the dev trip, going for a week in 2 weeks time to finally secure some serious backing for EMC2. Check out ROKOS.space = OKCash dev's RasPI Linux O/S .. one of the sponsors of coinfest. It's interesting to see how talking about it can make some people make a move. I need to put my raspPi 2 back online

Hear Ye ... Hear Ye ... How does the EMC2 community feel about being present at http://coinfestuk.org as a sponsor?I will be going there and may even hold a presentation or two. Gives us enough time until end of March to come up with something to say. Also, there is a slight cost involved, which I intend to reimburse from Foundation coffers payable in EMC2 ... even if I have to buy it for BTC, that coin is not going on sale this cheap. Sounds good. Looks like a good place to get the word out. We need to spread the word about EMC2, more people we get involved, more chances we have to make things big with EMC2
