Thanks for your replies What’s your electrical cost? If it’s above $0.10/kWh then it’s generally not recommended that you mine. If you have electrical prices at or under that cost, keep in mind GPU mining profitability has fallen off a cliff and ROI on most cards is now at 10 months or so. ATM cheap 1060s, 470/570 and 580/570 cards are good choices. 1070 can also be used if you find one at a good price. Prices have fallen a bit on GPUs as well, but I’m not sure if this is true in the EU.
So to answer to your question for the 12 next months i will have free electricity since i live in Saudi arabia as an expatriate so my company provides me electricty. But i don't want to use too much for me 1,5kW is enough if i can have a good equipment with this it would be perfect. I would like to take advantage of this year to start mining. According to the answers i should target : 8 rx580 series or 1070. 1) Is it possible to find something plug and play; ready to use ? 2) Is it dangerous to do mining in appartement i mean regarding to fire hazard ? Thank you It would be most cost efficient to buy the parts individually and build the rig yourself but if you need a plug and play GPU rig you can checkout https://mineshop.eu/ , I have ordered off them before and they provide a good service, there prices aren't the worst but you will still be paying a good bit more than building yourself.

Waiting patiently to see how the hard fork plays out. Alts could get rekt as there all priced in BTC 1x.
Really at this point the safest option in my opinion is to hold some BTC and some strong well established alts to balance your portfolio out and lower risk before things settle and we know the outcome of the fork.

so it looks to me like a few new members have just dumped their free coins. while we should not be worried about it, it does really annoy me. they get accepted and just dump the lot
Price has bounced back quickly. Without a doubt they will be regretting those sales down the line. I'm planning on holding mine long term! Too many exciting updates coming up to even consider selling in my opinion. Agreed! This is definitely a long term hold for me too! Once we hit more exchanges there will definitely be an increase in value! Yes it's pointless just selling straight away, defeats the whole purpose of the AirDrop and how it can help build the community. If you believe in the project you should just follow all of the rules and try and add value to help the coins future success. I'm currently looking at buying some onions or getting some mining equipment, at least if some do sell there onions I can get them cheaper

Hello i just found some baikal miners for 100 Euro spec: X11 X13 X14 X15 Qubit Quark
– Hash Rate : 150MH/s(±10%)
– Power : 40W(±5%) @ 0.27J/MH (at the wall , with 25℃ ambient temp)
– Power supply : DC 12V 5A Power Adapter with 2.5 DC Plug(Not included)
– Interface : Ethernet– Operation Temp : 0 ~ 40 ℃
– Dimension : 140mm(L) x 100mm(W) x 95mm(H)
– Weight : 475 g
I wonder if is worth to buy it for diffrend algo than x13? Im making this post cuz i cannot find any coin on other algo.
Going by whattomine with that hash rate and power usage on x11, qubit and quark your looking at approx $0.20 profit a day with a electricity rate of 0.12$/kWh so it's not really worth it unless the coins go up a lot.

People were warned but the some of the people didn't wanna listen and just accused people of being selfish and wanting all the profits to themselves. They compared x11 to script and said well the l3+ is still profitable so a d3 should be too ignoring the differences in available coins to mine and the fact bitmain owned the script market because of the l3+ price speed and efficiency. X11 has too much competition now and anyone who kept their Baikals are laughing at us all now.
This. I am actually mining everything but scrypt and X11. Better coins about in Quark and X13 now that are making a move. What hardware are you using to mine Quark and X13? I'm glad now that I did not order the antminer d3 November batch with the difficulty increase. Baikal Giants and some other old Baikal miners that people were just about giving away in the last month due to the rise of d3s... Thanks, i'm still trying to get some Baikal miners but the new giant x10 isn't in stock yet, I could get the older version of the giant but it's still pretty dear for it's hashing rate.
