A lot of it comes down to cost, especially for new people who are unfamiliar with mining.
When I built my 5 card rig there also wasn't an option to buy a 12 card Mobo but if there was back then I may have bought one to make it more future-proof and have the option to add more GPU's later.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Burn?

The important thing to identify is if the coin burn will be from the total supply or circulating supply, if its from the circulating supply it should in theory have a positive impact on the price as there will be less coins/tokens in circulation.

At the moment I use both Binance and Bittrex, I think they have been better at coping with the increased load on the websites over the last few weeks.
Hopefully Krakens upgrade will help with the issues people have been experiencing with there site lately.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPUs RX570 4Gb and XMR queries

Thanks for both answers. I am mining with SMOS but I think is also prepared to set dual mining if you can do it with those cards on windows. The only thing that it makes me take it slowier is that I have no idea when the 4Gb GPUs cant manage the dag file and I will be forced to change the mining coin. I donīt remember where I did read something about that, but 4Gb GPU's has a real deadline for ethereum mining, hasnt it? Thanks again It's not expected to reach the limit for 4gb ram cards until 2019 so there is still a good bit of time left.
