Would love NAV to reach $1. It's been around for a while and I can't see it moving north unless it radically alters its marketing. I'm still holding a mutha of a bag and wish it all the best of luck for the next twelve months. Not just for me but because it beats DASH hands down.
Marketing is the biggest obstacle in the crypto scene, its hard to get a good foothold in the space. But when you do and you get added somewere price might rocket (Monero for example on a dark web). So far i think Nav-tech is still to hard to use, and you depending on others servers. Ofcourse you add your own servers, but many people dont know how and dont wanna take that risk to change nodes while they have money on it. For many here its logical we keep the wallet backuped and safe and we know how to handle it, but most people dont. Anon will be huge in the future if you ask me, but i think it should be easy and logical first. And i think so far the fee's are pretty high up to 0.5%, idk why that is that way. |

Can someone from the Qtum team explain what will be the purpose of the qtum coin ?
Will it be needed to use the smart contracts ? Cause if someone makes a smart contract for bitcoin will they need qtum or does the qtum coin holders get that fee in btc.?
I understand the purpose of Qtum and its great just dont get the economics behind the qtum coin itself yet. Anywere its explained ?

I don't really see a need for a rebrand but I would definitely see what the community vote was. The name don't have to change. But there are cool things possible! New colorful positive logo, country ambassadors, new website with a > z. Monthly dev update. I bet when that start many people from around will start to help. Guides on how to set up a masternode on verious OS and secure them. |

Great, sounds like the milestone Alpha 2 is almost here!  Maidsafe is doing great cant wait for Beta version were vaults and the network are running complete together without any VPS servers holding the network up. This will show maidsafe works great and start getting people to the maidsafe development side. Maidsafe will be great for apps like a veriation of Skype, Facebook and exchanges were your details are really secure for ones. |

For some projects patient is just the way to be, i sold all my neoscoin at 400 satoshi a long time ago, and i had a lot around that time.
Dont make the same mistake i did, would of been a lot more btc by now.
Syntaks is a great dev. only with a complete own way of running a project. Hope he succeed on neos and get some attention it desirves back to Neos.

Updated the Full client wallet to 3.9
And it works perfect, sync went pretty fast and its staking again like a dream!
Good job Navcoin team, looking foreward to see the network beeing used with Nav polymorph feature.
Any update on when we can expect the Navoin promotion video ? would like to spread it around.

Hello everyone. I'm hoping for some assistance here as I am having no luck trying to restore my backup wallet file. One night good ol' Microsoft decided to update while I was sleeping and then it restarted my computer. Afterwards it somehow messed up my Navcoin which was staking at the time so I reinstalled it. The problem though is my backup file is not displaying the correct address in Transactions: I have no idea what address this is NQf7bM5CaBdgqGS1JNmtpFepmyPM4oNkjVI've only ever had one address NLkEcTHJREEKJ8AXTDYannjdZg7hQEYcot) http://imgur.com/rXqebVbIt also doesn't show any information about NQf7bM5CaBdgqGS1JNmtpFepmyPM4oNkjV when searching the block explorer. The second unusual thing is my address list has some bizarre address that is obviously not real address: http://imgur.com/i2lvpBUI'm pretty lost as to what to do. I've let it sync fully, tried to repairwallet, -rescan, and updated to 3.9 with no success. I do know the wallet address and have unlocked it while doing these various things with no avail. Oh...... crap-a-sauris' rex....... I think I know my problem now. My wallet back up was from the beginning of 2016, so i'm assuming it's from the old coin Nav 1.0........... If this is the case, am I completely screwed and my coins are gone forever because my wallet back up is from the old blockchain? Im comming back after a year and it still the same stuff and complaining, happy i sold at 16k  To be honest i liked spread and the idea but this dev isnt working it. Might be wrong but the coin price says enough. |

This coin might do great with some nice PR and maybe a rebrand, a fresh start with a one on one swap.
Remove all the old Neoscoin btc threads so its easier to find. Get some nice usage for the coin.
The developer is a good developer and Neoscoin deserve better.
I'm not so sure that a re-brand would do much for the release ahead, other than generate some noise for various reasons - one of them being to conjure up some "hype" because it's a new name. We'll be doing our part in terms of marketing and PR this time around and working with folks within the community that have different abilities to offer and bring resources to the table. They've come forward and offered their assistance and we're glad the synergy is there. Neos has been around for a few years now and in my opinion it's stronger to show continued development than attempt to bring some hype into this already-saturated atmosphere with the intention being to attract new investors by way of deceit that it's a brand new project. The features and this release are considerably massive in comparison to earlier releases and with the proper marketing we'll be able to attract significant attention organically. Bear in mind that the top 10 wallets reflect balances of those owned by exchanges in large part. Exchanges don't always have one wallet address and this is pretty standard. If every project were to "reboot" due to too many people holding large amounts of the currency, we would have an even bigger mess on our hands than we already do with people coming up with "new" ideas daily as it is and an even more ridiculous market. Regarding thread removal, I believe last I looked there wasn't an option to delete the thread - you need to contact the section mod. I'll go ahead and take another look in between coding but I agree that's something that needs to be done. Thanks for the kind words as well. Yea the rebrand i ment will mostly be to just create a bigger noise on new release, and to promote there are more dev. around and people joining. and yes its not only about that but it does help in crypto. People look around for coins but cant read the updates of every coin and if this release is massive and the functions did change a lot compared to the (old) Neoscoin multi-algo pow. I dont see it can really hurt beside the work needed for it ofc. Many people dont even know Neoscoin is working on updates. With Pr i ment someone who keeps things active, website, roadmap, blogs, news etc. Things that shows how hard you and the other devs are working on it. This will bring trust and attention back to Neoscoin, it would be ashame if the updates are massive and people just dont find out. |

I'm using NAV windows wallet v3.9.0 + Nav Blockchain data, still error:  Waiting for fix the windows wallet. Thanks! This happens also in my notebook windows 10 x64, still have no idea  I also have some problems like your. Is it ok if I use the old version for it? How about the new plan to boost the NAV higher . It's quite cheap to hold this coin. Not really cheap for the usage yet, but if its start to get adopted somewere for example like monero on a black market then it will rise a lot. Navcoin got a lot to improve if they wanna be great, but slow steps. Love the Pos function, only the top10 wallets are way to overloaded, this scare investors or people that might get in. They can dump the prices super low. |

I think Nav is a great coin, but i wonder if they gonna do some extra Pr maybe to get some attention around the world ?
Cause without usage its just another pos coin.
its not just another pos coin, with Polymorph your BTC,ETH etc transactions will be truly anonymous That only counts when you send it by changelly isnt it, or also btc > btc ? |
