But I guess that s industry too, Polo makes money on trade fees so they greet speculators with open arms. I bought a lot fct also just today at 500k satoshi, eventually i dont wanna miss the train like many did with ethereum, thinking to invest 1 btc every month at least into factom. People of the Lisk community, In the list you can see the crowdfunding for Lisk Dapp, The think that will determine the value of Lisk will be the adaption and the usage of the coin but thats obvious, im looking to start this crowdfunding platform so we can help dev's to push there Dapp through. Although im not rich and cant fund this all myself and i dont wanna start a crowdfunding for a crowdfunding platform. Thats why im going to try and manage 2 Delegates (and dont think i do that cause im greedy) its 100% to support the community. And i hope the community can help this succeed by voting on those delegates and i was just wondering what all of your views are on this? Would you like the idea and help me with gathering votes reply on this and maybe we can even find better ideas on how to make this work all togheter "dont forget its a community we need to form"! When Milestone2 will be finished and will then move up (jump) price FCT, as people see actual finished work above second stage Factom.
There will also jump prices FCT be when is completed Milestone3 and the Factom will be fully operational project.
Unfortunately, we need to wait at least another six months, when we will see the Factom project in full force.
Thats perfect we got like 6 months to stack up coins that will have a end value of approx 270 dollar my estimation though 1 billion entrycoins a month ! let the smart city begin But factom can you please reply for ones, whats the reason only a small amount of fct are beeing burned atm if you calculate the price on the website compared to entry coins there should be a way bigger burn rate atm. |

I disagree. Bot is working now. Now just see and hope whales turns out soon. I think speculors are just waiting for a sudden change market. In this situation we can't make soild ground.  I think in this time price in inrelevant cause the price is higher then the coin value atm , people paying more atm cause they see it having a future, but eventually only factom can determine the true value by letting company's join the revolution on the blockchain. There is one thing that i dont understand yet, now every block has a avarage of 100 EC a block right ?
On the website they sell entry coins for $20 every 1000 EC meaning 100 EC are around 1 FCT, shouldnt be te
Deflation about 1 fct each block by now ? or is there some condition that they can use EC without a burn rate ?

I already invested some but I might wanna buy some more, but before I do is there a possibility to see what will be done with the rest of the coins if the icon is not full? Cause if you burn them the Total amount decrease but the block reward is high compared to the coin amount So actually bad for investors. If the coin amount is split on investments with the time of investment means more Coins and better and easier distribution in the future. Well the original statement was to emit at most 5 million coins. Precisely, if less than 5 million coins are given away during the donation based crowdfunding, the rest will be either burned, or divided among all contributors proportionally to their donations. No coins will be emitted beyond that: the coins generated in the donation based crowdfunding will be the only coins in existence ever. Just rephrasing the original terms. Hey just bought some coins, just one more thing is it possible to send more then 1 payment from 1 wallet? Also about the rest of the coins i think best is to devide them under the crowdfunding particepant, some reasons a coins needs spreading so a bigger amount (1 mil already aint a lot) will be eventually more distribution, while the market cap stays the same. Also its prob a more fair way to award the people that supported the coin in the ico compared to the block reward. |

I think there are major - in fact fatal - issues, with the current approach. I intend to show a devastating form of the FAA, one which I can see no way of preventing, or even significantly mitigating.
Consequently I think we will have to go in a completely different direction in respect of verifiability. I have some ideas about what that direction could be. I think one of the issues is collecting funds while not even knowing whether the system can ever work. What if there is a problem that can't be overcome, will the non-spent funds be returned? This worries me now aswell i was about to buy some elastic coins, but if one dev says it are small things and another say fatal, then this makes no sense and worrieing a lot. I believe this idea is great but its just so messy and unfollowble if your new, like team changes , who is in or who isnt , who is the actual dev or who isnt, who manage the funds or isnt, what if the total coin amount isnt reach will the coins be burned or distributed on the ico particepent and on what base. And im just getting warm Maybe a big meeting is needed in your organisation and sort some things |

Some customers may be interested at many/high prices - proofofexistence.com costs $2 now!? Yet i could post a hash in bitcoin transaction myself and waiting for a low fee, no? - which bloats bitcoin blockchain but for the time being is better/easier/not relying on more - Yet keeping paying customers ultimately depends on Factoms business relationships,
- if it gets too expensive customers/competitiors could start running another Factom network/chain being opensource.
So you prefer to pay 10 to 100 times as much , and also wonder when it will be on the block , and bloat the bitcoin blockchain with useless space compared to just se factom and be innovative |

That also means that actually the Value of each Factoid will be equil to 73000 coins
some calculations
Example;
1 million entry coins a month would be 1000x20(basic package)= 20000 dollar a month / 73000 = $ 0,27 each factoid.
(Factom is in beta phase and already have like half mil entrys a month, sky is the limit)
10 mill = 2,7 dollar
100 mill = 27
1 billion = 270 dollar
Each coin based and i expect when this tech continu and people start adapting factom on the bitcoin and ethereum blockchain
1 billion entry a month will not be that strange.

However in the future, after our milestone #3 is delivered about 75K FCT a year will be distributed to Federated Servers who help maintain the network with their resources. Factom you say that 75k factoids will be made a year but isnt it a month ? Correctly. 75k factoids will be made it a month. Yea factom made a mistake when he posted that but it made me confussed haha so i was on the right end otherwise i would buy much and much more. |
