I need to know? Who the heck set the max transaction size of NUT to 50,000 coins? AllCrypt.com has been throwing errors all night trying to do a 500,000 NUT sell, which has been bombing over and over and over again, because it's trying to move 500k, and there's some internal code making 50k the limit.
Frustrating.

The Gridcoin linux wallet has a fatal error that needs to be resolved before it can be fully implemented on AllCrypt.
AllCrypt uses RPC calls to communicate with the wallets. The function getblock, which takes a hash as a argument, and returns data about the block in question, is completely broken.
On the command line, some blocks return data - but the data seems like it could be wrong.
Other blocks return various errors: gridcoind getblock 87940ec2e76b5981d1454ea53de8fa3c0fac4b1c683f72971a74ea8f78751046 error: {"code":-1,"message":"Block number out of range."}
However, I got that hash with: gridcoind getblockhash 74001 87940ec2e76b5981d1454ea53de8fa3c0fac4b1c683f72971a74ea8f78751046
Also: gridcoind getblock b228595e0676536b5eed64ad079d8046ea7ed5cb27d94a2c24018b60ec945d59 error: Error parsing JSON:b228595e0676536b5eed64ad079d8046ea7ed5cb27d94a2c24018b60ec945d59
It's completely borked.
Also, when issuing the command line for: gridcoind getblock 3acbe7fae017d900a0957038dce03c48b5d4458cabd79ad809a194fed9bf2154
It returns what APPEARS to be info for block 3? { "hash" : "d39f406fc1e83823f0af3feccecf97439b8c418340fae92cb32de2a0b0d882f7", "confirmations" : 75296, "size" : 438, "height" : 3, "version" : 2, "merkleroot" : "8e192930415caa67236c9facd54d5cb64080d340dc2d9db7f06901044727cafc", "tx" : [ "8e192930415caa67236c9facd54d5cb64080d340dc2d9db7f06901044727cafc" ], "time" : 1381979271, "nonce" : 73673216,
And when using the RPC call to check that same block, it errors out with: (I had to put spaces in the damn site keeps putting it in a code block)
Request error: A r r a y = > -1 [message] = > value is type str, expected int Which is completely wrong because a block hash cannot be an INT.
The linux Gridcoin wallet is completely unusable as it stands on AllCrypt. If this coin is on another exchange - we have NO idea how they are doing it unless maybe their wallets are on windows? (What??)

Using the diff data in the git I rolled back the changes to checkpoints.cpp and it SEEMS to be syncing.
Nuked the blockchain and started over and I'm already past where I was frozen last time in just 5 mins of sync.

So...... Poloniex has problems, Coinmarket is still not online (and only 1 nonsense update in last 3 days), Mintpal is offline (I know, only temporarily), Crypto Rush in maintenance mode (I know, 5-10 minutes only)........ AllCrypt is still up, but nothing much happening there..... WE NEED CRYPTSY or COINEDUP . Anybody still working on that? Edit: Poloniex trading open again!! Allcrypt has been open for 3 days. We need you guys to help drive traffic as well. Our marketing guy is finishing up the blog and has prepared a press release and assures me "it will get great page ranking on google and improve seo" whatever that means (Ok, I understand the basics of it, but I'm a programmer by trade - not a marketing guru!) We're also attending the CryptoCurrency conference in NYC on April 9th. Hoping piles of literature and free t-shirts help get our name out there as well. We're actually marketing. But we need your help. Post your referral links. Sing the praises. We grow with your help as well.

Seem pretty bad. Doesn't even support all the TOP 10 coins.
We gotta choose wisely or else another MTGOX will happen
Our philosophy is that we want to support the coins YOU want. So we set up a voting section, and the coins we have on the site now? They are the coins that were voted up by the community. Nothing that we added was random or without reason. Coins got votes - they got added. We have been adding some staple coins, as we hope to be the multipool exchange of choice. We've also only been open 3 days. And we have 40 coins. Been adding 2-3 per day as well. Give us time. No exchange can open blowing the doors off the competition. Thats the plan though.

Hehe. Caught with the referral link huh? Things have been going well. Volume isnt bad for just being open 3 days. We'll be attending the CryptoCurrency Conference in NYC on April 9th ( http://www.cryptocurrencyconvention.com/) and hope to drum up some excitement there. We are only as good as the users of our site. Hope to see you all on the site soon!

Thanks for the review. To hit your points one at a time... instead of reposting, here's a link to an article we posted on reddit, complete with a message signed with the address we made the first donation with. http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoMarkets/comments/1zas97/allcryptcom_launched_last_night_donated_359_btc/Color scheme: Cant please em all. Sorry The popups are important notices that we want read. We've run various websites for years. No one reads a damn thing. If it's in a popup that keeps coming back until you click the "I read it button" - you cant complain that you didnt know. You said you read it. Why are you complaining about it? So, anyway, I see that as an overall positive review. Thanks for the kind words. We are always open to your suggestions. Feel free to post any ideas or feature requests on our community site: https://allcrypt.zendesk.com/hc/communities/public/topics

Well that was quick. Synced to 32699 then died. Even using the connect= lines in a post a few back.
We will try again in 24 hours. If no progress, we'll have to remove the coin.
|
|
|
Height: 32699 is the last block available at the time of the post, Some coins require patience, anyway it works well.
If thats the last block available then everyone shut down their wallets, because it hasnt gone past there in 16+ hours. I'm trying the method just posted about getting past there, if it doesnt work, we're removing Extremecoin from AllCrypt.com as it's obviously dead.

Here's the issue: After a while, the wallet loses all connections and stops syncing. I've added all the nodes I've seen in this thread, and when starting the wallet, it works for a while, and eventually connections drop to 0 and it stops.
Stopping and restarting the wallet makes it go again... for about 20 minutes, then it loses all connections and dies again.
Why doesn't it keep trying?
dev just tried new wallet. As described above. drops node and will not sync. pm sent to dev Nintey nine little bugs in the code... Nintey nine little bugs... Take one down, patch it around... One hundred fourteen little bugs in the code...

The initial release does not have working RPC. I cannot use the initial release.
|
|
|
The wallet won't start if port numbers clash and we remember all the ports in the conf anyway.
I'm using the new source posted here yesterday. Is that the one you're using?

Is there a possible issue with the blockchain?
We have a user who deposited some Atom to AllCrypt.com and he's saying he's showing 6 confirmations on his end - our version of the blockchain is showing 0.
I installed the windows wallet to check the TxID but it won't let me - as the transaction doesnt belong to that wallet.
Molecule - any idea why this would be? We restarted the wallet on the linux end to let it rescan and all went well. Still showing 0 confirmations.
|
|
|
Also worked against atomd, Linux Mint 16. I pushed the updates for Atom v0.9.5.0 to git. https://github.com/moleculecoin/atomWon't get a chance to do the Windows build until a bit later. Well cry Hallelujah and call me Sally. That did it. Atom's on AllCrypt. Molecule: Any issue using it with the previously downloaded blockchain? You said you fixed a bug - I'm assuming the old blockchain I have is still good?

Was it a windows binary or linux? That might make a difference

So since we preach transparency and integrity, I didn't want to say we had a successful launch. It was mostly successful. A few bugs popped up... like regardless of what trade page you were on, the buy/sell orders would update whenever anyone posted a trade. Oops! Using AND instead of OR will get you every time! Had some two factor issues where a user would select it by mistake, then be locked into choosing it, and if they didn't have a smartphone, oh well! Had some issues with coins... PikachuCoin works for a bit then the RPC calls to the wallet just fail. Had to take that down while we debug it. All in all, it went about as smooth as we could have expected! So, we invite you to swing by, sign up, check us out. Yes, the markets are a little empty at the moment, but the only way to fix that is to list some coins for sale- and that will only happen if you guys get behind the coins you voted for! So come sign up, check us out, submit any bugs you find, and have a great time trading! We'll be working on a trollbox soon. It's weird being on the site and seeing so many logins but not being able to chat with anyone! www.AllCrypt.com

For proper tracking please submit a support ticket at http://support.allcrypt.comThat being said - did it show your the QR code to generate the 6 digits or just ask for the number without showing the code?

When I try to compile the qt-wallet under ubuntu, qmake reports: Project MESSAGE: Warning: unknown QT: qaxcontainer
make terminates with following error: src/qt/bitcoingui.cpp:9:21: fatal error: QAxObject: No such file or directory compilation terminated.
Please help me to solve this problem. Hi Grex, You can build a Linux version if you look at the cryptsy thread on page 1 of this thread (the please add us to the exchange link) a guy named Roo posted the instructions for the build, but please be aware that you cannot Mine on the latest Linux version since it does not have a CPUMiner-- its mainly there as a wallet for the exchanges etc. Sergey is working on the CPUMiner now; but its a big project. Thanks, Rob H. AllCrypt.com is trying to compile the wallet, and even using the tips the Roo posted in the cryptsy thread I had to search 20 mins to find, it still fails with: bitcoinrpc.cpp:14:21: fatal error: QAxObject: No such file or directory compilation terminated. make: *** [obj/bitcoinrpc.o] Error 1 Cant add the coin until someone points us in the right direction.
