261  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 4 Bitcoin Rain accounts with 178k USD (~191k in 3 months) for ~1150.00 BTC on: April 07, 2013, 09:16:59 PM
.....

id consider doing 100btc for the first account just my problem is that if/when the price increases i may only be making back my btc. for example if price rises to 200 by the time he pays back. thats all

Sounds fair!

My point point is, I can't guarantee your Bitcoin back, since my worth is in USD, but, I can guarantee your fiat with interest.

I'm using Bitcoins here to facilitate the negotiation... If you have Liberty Reserve or any other currency, I can accept it too, no problem...

Thanks!
Thiago

Great!! Thanks!    Grin

Updating this offer (cutting another ~14.4k - BTC @ 144.00 USD):

191k USD starting in 3 months, for ~1050.00 BTC.

---
Account     -  Currently invested  -     Mature with     -       Price

account #1 -   20976.97 USD      -  ~22550.24 USD  -    ~122.90 BTC
account #2 -   25990.21 USD      -  ~27939.47 USD  -    ~152.59 BTC
account #3 -   42129.44 USD      -  ~45289.15 USD  -    ~248.97 BTC
account #4 -   89095.86 USD      -  ~95778.05 USD  -    ~525.54 BTC
---

Exemplifying:

So, for example, if you buy account #1 for ~17697.60 USD (~122.90 Bitcoins today) and something goes wrong in the future, I'll buy those accounts back or just refund you.

Thanks!
Thiago

It seems to me that this Leandro was both the zhoutong AND pirateat40 of Brazil (in that he was running both the shady "exchange" and the Ponzi "investment group"), a liar (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=46750.msg1759709#msg1759709), and a world-class scammer (in one of the world capitals of scamming).

I am sorry you (and apparently most of the rest of the Brazilian Bitcoin community) placed so much trust in him, and apparently continue to do so (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=160150.msg1693636#msg1693636).  That sounds like a lot of money, by any metric.

Has Leandro reported this "theft" to any law enforcement agency in Brazil or elsewhere?

How did Leandro continue to run this scheme when the Brazilian S.E.C. already tried to shut him down?  http://www.bitcoinmoney.com/post/28048708075/brazil-bitcoin-securities

How did you believe he was earning the "2-3% monthly" (26.8-42.5% annual) returns?

Best of luck to you and other investors.  For your sake, I do hope I'm completely wrong about this.

From what I know, Leandro wasn't running a ponzi scheme... He isn't the "Brazilian Pirate".

Of course I can be wrong but, let me talk about it a bit...

First, Leandro is already refund lots of people, thieves do not return any money.

About Bitcoin Rain, it was supposed to use the Bitcoins, to sell high, buy low, and make more Bitcoins for its investors...

Well, if you have a exchange, you can almost "see" the profit coming, price goes UP on mtgox, it will reflect on Brazil, and vice-versa. Even if you do not have an exchange, you can profit by taking advantages of the market inefficiency... If you have one, the biggest in a country like Brazil, well, I'm sure you can profit a lot.

I made tons of coins doing this... From my point of view, Leandro was doing it too, along side with the others users of Mercado Bitcoin, mtgox, btc-e, etc, etc and etc...

So, no ponzi, it is a legit profit.

Someone stole our coins... Damn it! We're working on it.

If someone help me, I'll not forget this.

The minimum I can do, is refund the buyer in the case of Leandro goes bankrupt.

Thanks!
Thiago

If Leandro runs away. I'll refund the buyers, during January.

I just talked with my wife and my closest family members about this.

I'll never try to put someone in trouble, by taking so much risk, without any guarantees.

Again, if Leandro doesn't pay until October 1, I'll buy the accounts again.

So, in fact, this isn't an auction, it is a garnishee, or maybe a loan?!

I'm a ASIC miner (well, almost, Avalons coming!), and I'll invest even more on Bitcoin mining during the next 4 years and others projects, like a Cloud Computing ISP and, the what I like most, I'm about to build a high-sustainable community, with its own green power plant (small-hydro) and green Bitcoin mining, this project is currently in progress.

I'll pay you back if Leandro defaults.

Or maybe, if you have an open mind and would like to live in Brazil, in a eco-friendly house within a self-sustainable community, well, we can work on that... I mean, I can build a house for you, if you wish... What about an Earthship!? Neighbours?!   Grin

Tks,
Thiago

you are probally best selling each account seperately so you dont need to find one huge buyer. I may buy one account or 2 depending on the price

Here is the current balance of each account:

account #1 - 20976.97 USD
account #2 - 25990.21 USD
account #3 - 42129.44 USD
account #4 - 89095.86 USD

Thank you starsoccer9!

I really appreciate your reply!

Uai...

Abx!

Translation:
You put 178k USD into an "investment group" nobody heard of. The requested payout never came (*surprise surprise*). And now basically you want to sell a 191k debt for 161k (18% off) with a "guaranteed" profit of ~$30k (6-9 months compounding interest).

Come on... noone will bite here, we all see the hook...

I'm working with Leandro since the beginning of the Bitcoin in Brazil... I know and trus him.

Thanks,
Thiago

Dear friends,

I want to sell the Bitcoin Rain (https://www.bitcoinrain.com) accounts that I manage, I have about 178k USD in 4 accounts.

The money is currently invested! Bitcoin Rain is currently paying about 2-3% per month of interest on top of it. That investment will mature on July 1, and it will have about ~191,350.00 USD to withdraw using Liberty Reserve and/or Bitcoins. The withdraw of the entire Bitcoin Rain accounts will end up in October 1.

Initially, the Bitcoin Rain was a `Bitcoin Investment Group', but, the Bitcoins are gone due to a huge theft in Leandro's systems, the owner of Bitcoin Rain and Mercado Bitcoin (biggest brazilian Bitcoin exchange). He doesn't default, he will pay something back, but, since the Bitcoins are gone, Leandro fixed the Bitcoin price at 82.50 USD (theft date) to convert the Bitcoin Rain accounts and fix his debt in USD (I'm fine with his decision).

I can ask for Leandro to come here and confirm this, if desired. Also, I can show the accounts details privately.

I'm pretty sure that Leandro will reopen Mercado Bitcoin too, to recapitalize itself even more. The entire Brazilian Bitcoin community are supporting him! Including myself...

The Bitcoins (~2153.18) that I and my family had there, is past, Dollar is what we'll have until July 1.

Days before the crack (March 23 and 26), I had requested about ~1200.00 Bitcoins from Bitcoin Rain, the coins never come and, the problem is, we (me and my family) need that money ASAP (huge family and personal debts, plus a couple projects going on). If not, I had reinvested there for another month... It will be VERY hard for us to wait until July 1 to starting withdrawing those ~191k USD...   Cry

 ---

So, basically I'm offering about ~191k USD starting from July 1 for, lets say, ~1150.00 Bitcoins today (161k - BTC @ 140.00 USD), certain profit of ~30,000.00 USD within a few months!!!

 ---

Of course, I'm open to any offer or ideas... Like this one...: Hey MagicalTux, help us too! I love Japan! Come to Brazil, buy MB & BR and start accepting BRL at MtGox!!     Grin

 * A bit about the future that I'm planning

My current focus is to build a Cloud Computing ISP, based on OpenStack Grizzly on top of Ubuntu 12.04, for Bitcoin and Litecoin users... Well, I think it will succeed! PoC ready, new servers ready! Also, I just enter the ASIC mining era (I'm starting with 2 Avalon from 2nd batch, with huge plans to expand it) for, at least, the next 4 years... My Cloud Computing and my Bitcoin / Litecoin Mining Farm will be 100% carbon free powered by a private small-hydro.

So, probably I can make some guarantees but, it will depends if my life projects does succeeds or not... Until now, everything is still going fine... But, I'm asking for the help of this community, so I can have a pretty good chance boost my recovery after this tragedy.

 Thank you guys!

Best Regards,
Thiago Martins

Concordo, não quero ser mais moderador.
Já perdi o tesão... Manja?!

Thank you for translating that. Google did a horrible job, that's why I didn't include it. You made a comment about another off-topic reply being deleted. How does that make it on-topic?

Define why the messages are off-topic. Explain why do you think that posts are off-topic and show the parameters which leads you to conclude that.

Once you do that, I will answer your question.

Because you're trolling and being ridiculous.

Wait, that is only what you can do, since you are a jerk.
