Hello community Please I crave your indulgence permit me to draw your attention once again again to the frequently talk about matter of SPAMMERS and their activities. Undeniably a lot has been said prior to this post about the menace caused by SPAMMER. They have completely left the Altcoin discussion( I stand to be corrected is a place where other coin except bitcoin is discussed) in a precarious position this has caused some knowledge seeking member to put the section on their AVOID list. And this bad eggs(spammers) are expanding there horizons and like cancer are spreading to other sections of the forum like bitcoin discussion, beginners and help and even meta(which is fast turning into merit discussion) section. And also just like cancer if not addressed now can lead to an unpleasant situation. It's no news that bounty hunters are the chief perpetrators of this crime(spamming). Participating in bounties or airdrops is not against the rule of the forum but it's the way some go about it that is causing the feeling of contempt from other members of the forum. Yes the new ranking system by the administrator https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0 was welcomed and it's a step in the right direction in curtailing the activities of SPAMMERS in disguise of being a bounty hunter but just like criminals evolves to beat security measures they have devices other dubious means to earn merit and go back to there evil ways https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5061591.0 May I be permitted to postulate a rough ideaIn addition to the update merit and ranking system remaining the same there be something like a badge or symbol giving to members of the forum that has reached the required level of carrying a signature. The badge or symbols would signify that the member is eligible to wear a signature and participate in signature bounties. And when they go about there activities if it's notices by the mods or draw to there attention by other members that an individual is constantly spamming the forum with post or reply just to meet up with there bounty commitment probably after 4 times of spamming the member would be sent a post deleted message and attached to it a warning to desist from spamming but if the warning is not headed probably after another 4 post the badge or symbols would be removed and the member would be ineligible to continue wear signature no matter the rank or merit and the member would be put on probation and watch if still there is no changes might be banned after cross examination. And also the issue of constantly posting the same topic a link to where it has been discussed before would be attached to the delete post message sent to the OP to help assist him/her. This is still a rough idea that can be worked on and improve. The condition of the forum is a priority to every member Have a blessed day I must say this is an idea that's contains a great opportunity that can go far in stopping spamming in the forum. I think bounty hunters would be on there toes when the noticed they can still be stopped even when they are in the bounty project |

Due to the high level of crap/shit posting and a plethora
So I postulate that any time a user makes a new post and submits his/her post, this post is made unavailable to other users,but to the MODs in charge of that very section,who's gonna scrutinize the post,
This postulation will be time consuming and will great a post traffic in the forum. And beside what are the criteria of a good post. What might be trash to you might be treasure to another so one person can't decide what's should be allowed to be posted. That why when ever a spam post is made it get lashings from reply and the moderator has the option to either lock the post or move it. This forum is not a day old it has done a good over view of how to make the forum grow not saying ideas are not welcomed. But this is has been tackled |

FOMO, FUD and shilling might have it's negative effects bout also those possess some positive side also. They have the ability to temper with the demand of the coin or altcoin there by causing an upward or downward movement of the price of the commodity. The only problem with FOMO, FUD and shilling is if not properly accessed can make one take a wrong decision beside that it is always going to be a part of cryptocurrency market

Hello community
A lot of thread has being made as to regards how to merit, ranking and so on. Most times I go through a newbie thread as to regards issues(either whining some thing) about the forum I can sense confusion, inferiority complex, indecision in every letter. So many wonder why would they as newbie make a post and not get any reward while a higher rank member makes it and get well it's has to do with intentions. When you have a good intention you would receive admiration form most here.
Surviving in a forum can be simple and easy. Why not employ this steps
1. Understand forum rules and stick to it.
2. Be original and simple
3. Always see the positive side even in a negative situation
4. Be opened to learning
5. Have a good communication skills- you don't necessarily need to be the best in English just a good communication skills is good
6. Respect your superior- that's not to say you should be an ass liker no one love those set of people just a healthy respect is ok
7. Always admit when you are wrong- no one is perfect and above errors but you can only take corrections when you admit that
8. Avoid bad click and gang- there are some click, group or gang that are in this forum that are here to do evil like selling of merit, defrauding etc if you ever get contacted by them show them the door.
9. Be ready to research- this you must be ready to do, no one is a dull brain absolutely no one be ready to read about cryptocurrency and if you not the reading type there are videos you can watch, just do a research.
10. Never get discouraged- your zeal should be at a high level never waving. Keep you eyes on the goal at do it the right and legal way.
11. Work for the good of the forum- anytime you notice an illegal practice by any one don't just turn away like you don't care push the report button. The forum is for everyone of us.
12. Avoid envy and discontentment- this is the major reason why most newbies complain about the merit system being unfair. When you get this out of your Mind then and only then can you rise
13. Find a mentor- you don't necessarily have to contact the person all you have to do is know that figure which you can admire and aspire to be like. Avoid plagiarising there post just follow there footstep
14. Don't be quick to judge- always keep your emotions is check don't let it control you. You will most likely get things twisted if you do
15. Don't be afraid to try- like it is said If you don't buy the ticket you can't win the lottery. So why not give it a try that's after you must have come up with something good.

In as much as its solely your decision to make to what ever reason you joined this forum for. So I would not condemn you But it's will still me unfair and inhuman not to render some advise.
I will take this my reply in two part
1. Give your means of earning without rank
2. Give your reason why you need to have a change of heart
1. How to earn without rank... Although the are extremely few projects that's does accept newbies. Higher number of those few projects are not worth the stress. So there are some projects that's allows newbies who has the copper membership. So you can probably pay for the forums copper membership and be able to wear a signature. Also you might just stick to other campaign in a project for example articles and content or better still social media campaign this those not need you to have any rank.
2. reasons why you should have a change of heart.
Have you asked yourself, can i earn from doing what I love and doing it well? the answers is yes in fact that's when you will earn immensely take for examples other professionals they get paid by how good you are at what you do, and you can't be good at something you do love doing. You probably must have gotten the wrong perception of the forum from wrong advice or what ever way. ranking up here on bitcointalk is not such an enormous task as most people think all you need to is make up your mind. Have a goal and work towards it. Try as much as possible not to me obsessed about earning am not saying you should not earn but don't make it a priority here(here is not a trading exchange) and you might turn the forum into a spam pool. Acquire skills and knowledge. Just be simple and genuinely stick to forum rules. And you might just be earning at a high rank.

The decentralized system.
What is a decentralized system? This is simply defined as the system that is not under the regulations of any government, bodies or entity.
Bitcoin been centralized is unique from other currencies of the world and it tackles the issues of other currency
What are this issues other currency has not successful felt with?
The following issue are just faced by currency globally
And how bitcoin can tackle it
1. Inflation. Is the rise is commodity and service brought about by the fall in currency. Most currencies especially those of developing countries has been facing this challenge and can result to low standard of living in that nation. Although the prices of bitcoin and altcoin pumps and dumps some times it is does not vary directly with the economy of any country unlike other currency
*tranfers.. Take for example you come from a developing country and you went out in search for green pastures. Sending money(traditional currencies) back to your country poses as a challenge even with modern means like pay pal or western union, it either takes time or it has high cost. Bitcoin which allows a fast easy and cheap peer to peer transcation From any location globally has overcome that hurdle.
*Security issues and identity theft. Using other currency you are subjected to safe it in a bank of financial system this system which is not in your personal control there are some times the government can freeze your asset buy that's not with bitcoin you safe your bitcoin into a wallet you are in person control of. No other party can freeze your asset and your identity are only known to you and who you disclose it to.
Although is hard or might be impossible for bitcoin to become the global currency because
*its not a legal tender
*its based on technology and some individuals and countries are not technically advanced
*its goes against some countries believe
*its prevents corruption and some countries are not down with that
It's will really server a very good purpose in future times to come and I must say I am lucky to be a crypto enthusiast

There are some exchanges that has gained reputations already although in cryptocurrency nothing is 100% assured but it's the closest you can get in being safe. Except you have other illicit motives like trying to double your coin, get it lower than the normal price and more.
Then you seek p2p which is still not safe even with the employment of an escrow agent there are cases of escrow agent defrauding individuals. It's just safer to get coin from exchanges that are of good reputations

A title can tell to some extent how the post would turn out you can't make a quality post and put up a wrong title. Shit post starts even from the title. In as much as every one is free to give their post what ever title they deem fit having a the good of the forum at heart would tell you that poor title corrupts the landscape of what ever section it's on. |

Firstly every rank other than newbie has a needed merit to achieve it and to get to junior member you only need on merit and 30 activity that means the forum has giving the newbies like us the lightest task. That only cancels out your allegation of the forum being bias.
If you complain of 1merit what will those that need 100merit or 250merit.
You have to drop this self pity attitude no one is obligated to give you merit you cant get merit by being vindictive on higher ranking member.
I understand making a post that is of quality is not as hard as you think just do a research that will be helpful to someone out there. Don't get too obsessed about the whole system just work harder

This will only send out a wrong message about the merit awarding system. Giving away merit should be born out of share interest to a post that is logical and not for the aim to get merited in return.
There are merit sources that a capable to reward members of the forum with merit. We as individuals can only assist in that at our own will and not for any incentive

The forum has been very transparent and straight forward as to regards smerit rewarding.

An advice learn before you earn

So many noobs has not really found the major aim of being here, if the have it's quite ambiguous or earning focused.
Firstly let define the meaning of forum
According to the dictionary a forum is defined as a place where people can exchange opinion and ideas on a particular issue; a meeting organised for this purpose
This forum was set up majorly for individual from around the world to get together and exchange knowledge about cryptocurrency and trading related issues But some has coming in here an bastardise that aim.
It's time we all get our act straight and actually understand our aim here. I am not against earning infact truth be told that is an additional advantage of the forum. But once you have a wrong foundation as a noob here you will end up not gaining both knowledge wise and financial wise as well
There is more to this forum other than participating in bounty and the likes of them. You can learn about mining, trading economics and more this that if we'll understood will set you on the right part rather than the few dollars bounty and airdrops has to offer
As a new bie we all need to try to expand our horizons and be open minded always stick to forum rules, and be original.you might have come in here with little or no knowledge but you can develop and work on them.
Go through the threads for achieve post that can come in handy for the future. There are alot of experience folks here that are ready to guide any one but you have to show interest "you can only take a horse to the river but can force it to drink water"
PS. Understand you major aim here and make sure it's the right one, work toward you mental development and you gain both financially and knowledge wise there by impacting the forum community positively

If unfortunately you invest in a scam initial coin offering icos I think your biggest worry is your funds that will be lost. There so many things that you do that would require you identification (kyc) be it passport, Id cards, drivers license.
As an individual I can keep count on how many times or places I have submitted my kyc. So I think worry about kyc in a scam investment is like trying to save an ant out of a burning house when you baby is in the same house
