What is doing the mixing? It's not ring signatures, so what is it? Who cares that I can't trace 'A' tx output to 'B' tx input due to a mixer? I could do that with Bitcoin today. What sets the XC mixer apart from a normal, conventional mixer? Well for starters the details are encrypted to protect identifiable information and no we are not using ring sig's at this time, that is for the next release. And for anybody wondering why XC got pumped it wasn't because of the Anon (Maybe a bit) but mainly because the community found out who the dev is and what he is capable of. They are bluffing. They only put in their thread "Anonymous Transactions: In Development". Libertycoin's system has already a demo and it's in the "final stages". I own both, so I want them to both do well HOWEVER while XLB is in "final stages", XC Anonymous Linux wallet is now AVAILABLE. That means that they are the FIRST POS Coin with Anonymous capabilities, on top of that, a bit of searching on google would revel that the Dev has been coding since 1992 as well as created a company that specialized in Encryption software and security. While I would like to believe that XLB is just as capable I have not been able to find out any information on the libertycoin Devs other then Liberty coin was a clone of Hack coin (In the coding still has the copyrights) although the dev has stated that it is a fork of Badgercoin, and has hired Devs to implement the anonymous function. That doesn't mean that I don't believe in XLB and feel it is still UNDERVALUED if they can deliver on what they have promised! XLB also seems to have a bigger marketing team, which will help with the market Cap so long as its done properly. I personally like Iconic's idea of Liberty day however I am not so sure how my family would react if I recommend they buy the coin and then Coin desk or MSM ran an article with the headlines "LIBERTY COIN HITS 0.01 BTC FREE HOOKERS GIVEN TO MEMBERS" Although I don't know if Troiste will make good on his promise, I think it should be removed (keep it with the guys that have already PMed you if you want) but it should be removed from these forums as it is NOT family friendly and in my opinion can hurt the "brand" more then it would help. Or maybe it is somebody trying to play the market.. idk... regardless the offending file has been removed big things are coming, the linux wallet tested very well and is available by request - via email: atcsecure@x11coin.org, looks like the windows wallet will also be part of the release as well. I have big plans for this platform.. THAT IS HUGE Everybody can time stamp that post as even though it is available only by request, XC is the FIRST Anonymous POS Coin! Ya, that's great and great news if it actually works however all the site shows is that we could have an encrypted block explorer. Pretty much the exact same thing as what Sync released as anonymous and had to retract as it only encrypted the block explorer and not the actual block chain. I am curious as to why users have and are posting this information instead of the Dev when he has stated not to believe anything not posted by him. All I am asking is if Libertycoin can confirm the statements users are making otherwise he has told the community to dismiss them as they are being used to manipulate the market |

Hey is Libertycoin able to confirm this statement, I know your the official marketing guy of LBX but it just conflicts with what The Dev has been stating: We won't be discussing about anonymity implementation publicly anymore, at least not until it's ready, for it has been used by pump and dumpers to manipulate the markets distorting our words since this coin was launched.
In the past, pump and dumpers in the IRC channel #Libertycoin have spread FUD, lies and distorted our words triying to manipulate the price. We are not saying they are doing it now, but we are asking you to be aware of this. News that don't come from us (this account) should not be taken seriously.

Not saying it wasn't a pump and dump but yesterday as far as I read blackcoin wasn't going to implement anon tech now.... 2) We are currently working on a new privately developed BlackCoin wallet. This wallet will introduced an exclusive anon and multi signature feature. Also along with that some More features that are yet to be announced but will be Revolutionary. The wallet is Code named "Legionaire". Now yesterday I said it was a race between Liberty and XC, you can now add BC back into the race. It just depends who can deliver the tech first. I hold a basket of these currencies so hopefully they all do well, Just waiting to see who is the winner |

This board, and all alts, are hopeless. Alts, and has forum, have been overrun by blatant scam artists and spoiled impatient children.
Dev specifically stated he did NOT want this coin to be yet another pump and dump scam.
Now CINNI dev seems to be poking his head in for whatever reason, red flags go off on that one.
Now there is talk of PoW reward reduction, because god forbid anyone needs to wait 3 WHOLE MONTHS for their coin to go to the moon. 3 days is an acceptable amount of time to allow for fair and even distribution of coins these days.
If a coin cannot stand more than a week of PoW (so that it is easy for a small group of people to hoard the majority of the coins and fix the price), then it stands to reason that coin has no real value or else it wouldn't need to resort to such tactics to see price rise.
Now guess what, XC is becoming exactly what atcsecure said it wasn't supposed to be, a pump and dump scam.
Fuck XC, fuck alts and their "communities" (ie, shills waiting to pass their bag along to the next guy at a higher price), I'm out.
Hope the pump and dump goes well for y'all.
Atcsecure hasn't made a decision yet and I think he is feeling pressure here to reduce the POW, I agree that if he sticks to keeping it fair it should stay how it was originally with 100 Days of POW that is an extremely fair distribution and changing it will definitely leave the community open to being called a scam or unfair. Just let him do his thing and release the coin the way it was intended for it to be released. Half the people pumping the price up are just looking to make a quick buck dumping it, A lot of these guys realize that they have pumped the price already up to a level where it is going to get smashed by multipools and they want that quick buck so they want to cut the distribution. XC is already over 3 times more profitable to mine then darkcoin which will keep a supply of coins coming in for new traders and people who have already pumped it looking for a quick buck don't like that. I don't agree with the last part, the Dev so far has done everything he said he would and I still have a lot of respect for him! Everybody knew how long the POW phase was and I don't think the dev should be preassured by P&Ders to cut it short in order for a few to make exorbitant profits. Now, all the multipool has started on XC. Is that a good or bad thing... I don't know, but I just know that they are getting a lot of the blocks. Exactly when it was cheap to mine it was cheap in price, When you require more expensive equipment to mine the value of it is more expensive! If I get 3300 coin per 100,000 (which was 1 btc two days ago) then it cost me nothing and I don't care whether I get $1 a coin or $300 my cost is still $0. If however I spent $1000 a day to mine 1000 I would not be willing to sell them for less then $1.00 probably more as I would want a profit for my time and energy spent on the project. I still benefit either way, but view this as a long term project and would like to see the Dev stick to the original plan as I think it is better for long term sustainability! |
