NO LOSERS, JUST OPPORTINITIES LOST

Most of us here are invested to some degree in the near –or not so near- term future of Libertycoin. And most of us are “veterans” of several months trading, investing, etc. in alt coins. For the most part, most of us agree that, like in most things in life, in order to be winners, in altos, there has to be losers. I have always hated that “foregone conclusion” because, well, it doesn’t have to be true. Not at all. We all can be winners and no one must be a loser. It is not imperative that there have to be bagholders whose investment have been decimated in order to be big winners. Case in point: Libertycoin.

With just over 2 weeks trading, this coin has achieved unimaginable success and those early to the party, like Troiste, are deservedly sitting on verry significant unrealized (and maybe some realized ones) gains. Those are the big winners, of course. But many of the rest of us bought in the 5k’s, 10k’s etc and traded for very high profits and still sit on nice positions that, even if deposited at Cryptsy,  are staking already that nice pittance (for now) that comes with the territory.

Libertycoin is trading currently around 15,000 satoshis and I don’t believe there are many reading this that have much doubts about the big gains that we are facing straight ahead. I don’t want to put a figure or a percentage as a target but  it is hard to imagine that Libertycoin won’t  pass in market cap the likes of Blackcoin or Mastercoin in the very near future… well, if that is to happen, we are looking at a quick 11-15-bagger, even at the current rather deflated prices.

It can be a life changer for many of us if we really grab the opportunity.

But, good as it sounds an 11 to 15-bagger or better, that would be only the beginning. No mass adoption, no mainstream use, not even top dog in crypto, just a run-of-the mill Blackcoin-like success (at the deflated price). If Libertycoin were to reach some level of penetration in the real world, then the numbers would go instantly or near-instantly stratospheric with  many more “baggers’'than 11 to 15.  Many, many, MANY more. And that's not even cointing what =to me at least- is an inevitable resurgence in the price of Bitcoin itself, already seemingly in progress after months of downtrend that, again in my opinion, will take the oldest cryto above the $1,000 mark by August or earlier. An increase of such magnitude would, of course, reflect nicely in the price of Libertycoin, on top of everything else.

Now ask yourself this: Which other coin out there present’s you with such an opportunity?

I just wanted to bring this home for now. And yes, of course, some of us will be quite content cashing in along the way, that goes with the territory. But, remember, there will be NO LOSERS in Libertycoin. Just winners.

And those who chose to let the opportunity of their lifetime, go. And even them did it after reaping significant profits before jumping ship.

I agree with Barabbas. I would also like to add that it is fun to watch the price increase, and I know many of you day trade. However, quite a few of you are making a big mistake by selling your coins for pennies on the dollar. Libertycoin will reach well above $1.00 per coin in the not to distant future. If Darkcoin had a baby with BlackCoin, the child would be Libertycoin. However, Libertycoin has significantly better branding appeal and better marketing potential.

I encourage members to keep pushing forward with innovative ideas and be charitable.  We need to stay ahead of the competition and implement tech/mainstream use/confidence that can make us the standard of crypto.  In a few short days, we've entered final phases of anon, doubled value, launched multipool, provided globalized improvements to our site, garnered the attention of potential believers, and Liberty Day is around the corner.

Maybe the Devs could organise a time so we can list some ideas to them. Good ideas seem to get lost in the thread at times, But if we have a time organised by the Devs that we can chat about these things it could really work.. Even Just an email we can send the ideas too and that way no other eyes can steal them...??

I agree, member Daredevil and I touched on this earlier in the thread as he suggested setting up Basecamp account or Discourse community.  I think it's essential because I've already noticed other communities using the same exact words, updates, and catch phrases that I use, in other forums so they are clearly watching.  Not to mention, our ideas.  There will always be people that lack of ingenuity and I expected the lack of acknowledgement/credit.  I know we're open sourced but opycats drive me crazy, they steal relentlessly with no integrity.  They feel entitled, they're not.  

XLB will become more streamlined and as we approach that stage, I'm certain we will take our efforts behind the scenes while keeping the community full aware and on the same page.  No surprises and leading blind sheep here.

Either way, I have sold out my liberty after having my post deleted.  Read the mirror thread if you want to see my response it did not break any rules but they want to impose oppressive restrictions because they did not like what I said, how can you have Liberty coin while violating personal Liberty?

Are you serious? We cannot worry about every coin that is released or added to Mintpal. Nor can we worry about coins that will have the same features as XLB. Lots of work is being done on Libertycoin and in just one week there have been numerous accomplishments. This crypotcurrency race is not going to be won on just features alone. There are quite a few business savvy people that will be lending their talents to take XLB to the top, and this race will not be measured in minutes or days, but in weeks and months. Sorry but we cannot give updates every 15 minutes about the progress of XLB, it does not work that way. Libertycoin now has a crypto dream team and this team is here to win.

I was watching it as a very rough guide to the number of users holding XLB and whether the qauntity of users was going up or down - a very rough estimate of spread.

Yesterday, it was working fine.

Today Bitdefender reports it as unsafe and/or malicious.

I was just letting the community know to be careful with that site and to use it at their own risk.

They are bluffing. They only put in their thread "Anonymous Transactions: In Development". Libertycoin's system has already a demo and it's in the "final stages".

I own both, so I want them to both do well HOWEVER while XLB is in "final stages", XC Anonymous Linux wallet is now AVAILABLE.  That means that they are the FIRST POS Coin with Anonymous capabilities, on top of that, a bit of searching on google would revel that the Dev has been coding since 1992 as well as created a company that specialized in Encryption software and security.  While I would like to believe that XLB is just as capable I have not been able to find out any information on the libertycoin Devs other then Liberty coin was a clone of Hack coin (In the coding still has the copyrights) although the dev has stated that it is a fork of Badgercoin, and has hired Devs to implement the anonymous function.

That doesn't mean that I don't believe in XLB and feel it is still UNDERVALUED if they can deliver on what they have promised!  XLB also seems to have a bigger marketing team, which will help with the market Cap so long as its done properly.  I personally like Iconic's idea of Liberty day however I am not so sure how my family would react if I recommend they buy the coin and then Coin desk or MSM ran an article with the headlines "LIBERTY COIN HITS 0.01 BTC FREE HOOKERS GIVEN TO MEMBERS"  Although I don't know if Troiste will make good on his promise, I think it should be removed (keep it with the guys that have already PMed you if you want) but it should be removed from these forums as it is NOT family friendly and in my opinion can hurt the "brand" more then it would help.

Yeah, I have to agree. The free escorts is little too over the top for this coin, though I know Troiste intentions for this coin are good. Maybe there is something else he can give away instead that will be less over the top. Anyways just my two cents. We have to realize here also this is decentralized and even if one member does something, there is no official marketing team, and that's way it should be.

The XLB Blockexplorer linked a few days ago in this forum is now reported by Bitdefender as :
