101  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Token on: May 01, 2021, 01:34:05 PM
Other than that, I don't see the essence and usefulness of the whole suggestion. That's my point.
Me neither. I don't think it would do anything in the fight against scams. The token doesn't have any real value and is given away for free. If the suggestion was approved and the idea implemented, why would I simple not pay those free tokens, and then still go and scam everyone if that's what I wanted to?
Now people are buying any shitcoin they see as they did back in 2017. No one cares if it has value, backed business, real use case. I imagine what a hype would there be like an official bitcoin forum created their token and only this argument would be enough for thousands of people to buy it blindly.
102  Economy / Gambling / Re: There is no consistent money left in online poker cash tables, my analysis. on: May 01, 2021, 09:20:52 AM
Don't forget any gambling game is consistent, especially when you are playing online. Today you won the other day double lost or even can have lost streak days. How do you think the people who won the money you lost managed to do it? Learn their method. I'm sure if you are good at it, you can make money for living out of poker because I know people who do.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 01, 2021, 09:10:26 AM
Sometimes you could get away with a $1 fee, I remember few days ago the recommended fee from electrum was hovering somewhere at 15-20 sats/vB.
Lol I actually took advantage of that moment. It took like 30 hours tho, but who cares when you pay nothing for that. I paid like 20 cents for a $ 1k transaction. I really love this feature of Electrum like YOU will decide what fee you pay.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL ADDED] Boxing: Saturday 1st May 2021 - Derek Chisora versus Joseph Parker on: May 01, 2021, 09:07:43 AM
That definitely the fifth win streak of Joseph. There is pretty much trash talk going but Chisora isn't anymore in his form, the fight against Oleksandr Usyk showed that. And I don't think the winner will be decided based on the points.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: May 01, 2021, 08:57:11 AM
In my opinion, the gambling site should have programmatically made it impossible to bet from the bonus account on the listed games and introduced the necessary limits. Otherwise, it all looks very much like a not entirely honest business, with its creators covering their actions with a user agreement.
Most of them do restrict games that are not meant to be played with your bonus balance. It's so silly that the OP lost his winnings this way...It's like a restaurant has poisonous stuff in their menu but they stated about them somewhere on the last page of their menu with 2pt font size.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: May 01, 2021, 08:51:28 AM
Totally agree, fate just a excuse for us to console ourselves, the reason is lack of control,if you keep gambling without control, might be you could win one or twice, but you would lose finally. This is a normal phenomenon for a gambler.
Gamling just for fun,not for life.
It's about the intent that you have when starting. Do you playing for fun / for getting entertained or to get your daily dose of gambling addiction? Take it as entertainment that pays sometimes for playing, and the full control will be in your hands.

Basically whatever he did, does or will do, he still have "possible target" painted on his back.
Ha-ha, that sounded threatening, but that is the truth. When you are a doctor who spent 10 years in education and now stably earns 200-300k a year that doesn't make you a target, but if you put 100$ years ago into bitcoin and now your money is worth 200-300k that will make lol.
109  Other / Meta / Re: Google partial blackholing of Bitcointalk? on: May 01, 2021, 08:20:05 AM
The bitcoin keywords are HEAVILY competitive and there's swathes of web pages optimizing for all those above keywords which is why you don't see BTCT anywhere close to there.
that's why I suggested analyzing these keywords and creating relevant pages with valuable content. The forum has everything to compete for these "heavy" keywords: age, authority, traffic, backlinks, etc.

Fun fact: all the bitcoin keywords have a volume of like <5000, except for "bitcoin price" which has a whopping 250,000 volume which shows just how many more people search for that than anything else (including investors, nocoiners, journalists and such). I'd show you a pic of the LSIgraph of the keywords but they want me to pay $1,000 a year for the access.
that particular keyword (bitcoin price) doesn't make any sense to have a rank on, I guess. People search it to find out the price, nothing more, don't they?

If that annoys you then wait until you hear that neilpatel.com site (a well-known SEO agency) told me that Google makes around 8 algorithm changes a day!
that's right. But another fun fact is in most SEO communities people get that guy not seriously, he talks general stuff, not really technical/factual information. Seroundtable.com is a go-to source when it comes to G updates.
110  Other / Meta / Re: Google partial blackholing of Bitcointalk? on: April 30, 2021, 11:26:36 AM

Yes. That is why we buy Yoast's SEO plugin, because the free version is basically an SEO tweaker on crutches, and both of them won't work if you're using plain old html and not Wordpress/Drupal/Magento which makes the problem of SEO sort of stillborn for those kind of sites (like Bitcointalk).

Surprisingly this Bitcointalk ranks quite well even without SEO, but that's one hell rare of a case without any reliance on such.
Does it rank well? Really? By what big search query in Blockchain, Crypto, Bitcoin niches it ranks well? "cryptocurrency", "what is bitcoin", "buy bitcoin", "what is crypto", "how does crypto mining work", "what is blockchain", etc. the forum isn't close to the top 10. Almost half of the traffic is direct visits (I assume) and it ranks only by brand names or keywords with "forum" in it.
111  Other / Meta / Re: Google partial blackholing of Bitcointalk? on: April 30, 2021, 08:25:52 AM
It's not just Bitcointalk. I've noticed that Google no longer indexes (or at least no longer displays in search results) pages that haven't been updated in over 5 years, effectively causing huge portions of the web to vanish. It's one of the reasons I now use DuckDuckGo almost exclusively. Sad
I can argue on this.

Yes, everyone is talking about the page experience that says your page should be engaging and built for a user and stuff but that doesn't mean old pages are automatically removed now. There are certain topics that require freshness and old pages might be not displayed when searched by particular keywords anymore but google cannot just vanish all pages that are not updated in over 5 years or even 10 years. That's millions of terabytes of data.

Being openly flagged as an illegal broker, newly created domain name, plagiarised content, few to no interlinking among the whole internet - looks pretty legit to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They are hosted by Amazon AWS btw. Interesting.

Another thing why I would prefer people around me to not know that I'm involved with crypto is the legal stuff. Crypto is an asset and you should pay taxes just for owning an asset, also you cannot exchange it by any means. You should have a license for being able to exchange your crypto here. Stupid, isn't it? They are trying to decentralize something that is created to be decentralized.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Europa League 2020/21 Season on: April 30, 2021, 07:19:48 AM
Furthermore I fee thatl Arsenal can’t recover from this defeat, and it’s about time they hunt for a new coach as under Arteta they’re absolutely poor.
That will happen most likely. Arteta isn't good with the coaching team and this is the main reason for this cloudy atmosphere at the club. How he did not change Ceballos despite the yellow card is looked even more foolish.

Unfortunately, in your case, the violations were severe and left us with no room for any kind of exception. Below are the main reasons we were forced to remove the winnings.
~
I feel your pain.

I don't say anything about the bet amount limit but the 6-9 points they stated sound stupid. The bookmaker I play on also gives significant bonuses for deposits, black Friday, etc. And when you have bonus funds in your balance - you have to choose a balance to bet from when you make one. Like you chose a game, chose what you bet on, and then you choose from what balance you wanna play and if it's "bonus balance" it says like bonus funds are not playable in these games and at least it reminds if you play if will have certain consequences. That's kinda dumb of them.

117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 24, 2021, 07:15:39 PM
Arsenal have playing with full team and power because the winner of UEFA Europa League will get position on champion league, looking for Arsenal chance on domestic league have ended to get top four position and their chance to participants on UEFA Europa League next season look tin because still out from eight position stable right now.
They look focused enough, I bet for Arsenal. They can do this. Jason Cundy's trash talk like arsenal can never win Europa League and the only way is if Man United "stinks the place out" blah-blah is all nothing but bullshit. Lacazette will hit at least 2 goals in these left 3 matches.
118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first success story trading crypto on: April 24, 2021, 12:25:58 PM
Congrats, it's always a good idea to withdraw original amount and trade with profits, it helps minimize the regret if things go south.
Lol that's the best feeling about trading. No stress at all when trading the profit. But it also makes you be less accurate than you are when trading your own money, doesn't it?

And my congrats, OP.

It is one of the most unprofessional looking websites I have recently seen.
Which registered literally two weeks ago

and did not get indexed on search engines yet...

The website was built in the easiest and fastest way possible out there - elementor

and you did not bother to remove these default elements...

Besides jokes, in reality, it takes more than this to sell services worth $$$$$.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: April 24, 2021, 10:06:06 AM
I believe we are hella lucky to be born in this period of time. Concerning finances, I never worry since I have my job and I'm good at it. If you are good at something you won't get hungry and it worked for decades will work until the social life that we live in changes completely. I'm more worried about pollution. After a decade a lot of things will be changed. Hopefully, we will all die of old age being surrounded by family members.
