201  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: April 01, 2021, 08:07:23 AM
Sounds like OP recently fell for one of such "hackers" who claim to know a bug in some betting site or a winning strategy. I, myself lost quite solid amount of money falling for them in the past. You should ask yourself when someone tries to convince you: "what will he benefit from this?" if he has so called "winning strategy" he would put everything he has, make millions and quit to spend rest of his life in some private island instead of making videos by disclosing his personality and earn few thousands at most from affiliate commisions or ad contracts with betting services.
202  Other / Meta / Re: Withdraw BTC from forum account on: April 01, 2021, 07:42:42 AM
[Hiring] I have $59M worth bitcoins in my inforum balance, I need someone to help me to withdraw them, I offer 20% of it as a payment for the job.

P.S. you'll get paid after the job is done, no escrow.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks of instituations holding bitcoin on: March 31, 2021, 07:31:56 AM
I do not believe those institutional investments are being made aiming holding for some time and selling for profit like most individual investors do. I don't think they all can at one moment sell their bitcoins, they are smart enough not to do that. I believe they now can see the potential of bitcoin and it can be only payment method in the future. Concept of bitcoin is too good for not being ignored by big players. No central control, no middleman, no fees (almost), no footprints (almost).
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who where how much withdrew from no deposit on: March 31, 2021, 06:23:55 AM
I once withdrew about $700 from a sports betting site. I used to bet everything I had including 6-7 month salaries in a row. Tongue Later I somehow managed to stop playing. And a month after, I got a message from them saying they added 40$ to my balance as a bday gift Grin (it really was my birthday). I put it on basketball and won almost x20. Withdrew and never came back.
205  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for online marketing expert for crypto platform project on: March 31, 2021, 06:09:07 AM
Crypto projects normally have a team of "marketing experts" and a separate team of advisors. You cannot work it out with the help of one individual person even if he is a super specialist. You will not survive today's concurrency if you do not have a decent board of marketers. Also, knowing you will have a website, you will most likely need a team of SEOs as well.
206  Other / Meta / Re: Password Visible Option on: March 30, 2021, 11:37:16 AM
Do ya'll seriously type your pass every time you log in? I don't even remember mine (not sure if I ever typed it after I registered my account). Thank good chrome has its wonderful feature called password manager.

If you don't feel cool about chrome's built-in pass manager go for premium paid ones.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 30, 2021, 08:24:51 AM
Agreed, no disrespect shown to Aguero from City. He wasn't playing at all this season, he was one of the most important players for them in the last 10 years but his salary would be high and they weren't using him at all.

It's best for all sides - they will be able to bring a replacement and he will be able to find a club where he'll be playing regularly.

Aguero is one of my favorite PL players of all time, a truly complete striker. I'm sad to see him leave and I hope he'll remain in the Prem - although it looks highly unlikely.
He had too many injuries in 2020, especially the one he took in the middle of summer. I also heard he not long ago had corona.

Btw he will have a statue at the Etihad Smiley
208  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unikrn.com on: March 28, 2021, 04:45:06 PM
That's right, Trustpilot doesn't give a sh*t to trustworthiness of what their website indicate for the last few years now. You can buy tens of negative reviews for few bucks. But a company can respond to each of these reviews and negotiate. If account that left a negative review won't reply, the company can ask Trustpilot to remove it. So, quite confusing to judge based on trustpilot.

But regarding their investors, looks like they really have some cool people. Ashton Kutcher, Mark Cuban and other big players. I would definitely give a try if I was choosing one.

~
This has turned into an online social community and is no longer a Bitcoin development forum. Trying to police it or complain about it doesn’t do any good.
~
Here is the real answer. Bitcointalk is now quite barely a bitcoin forum. People are using it as a tool to earn some quick bucks, as a juicy source (it terms of SEO) to get a backlink from, as a good way to earn people's confidence and scam, etc. I don't mean people who joined the forum with a willing to contribute have left, they are still here. But the shitposters outpopulated them.

212  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your success formula? on: February 26, 2021, 10:54:11 AM
I don't really know because I haven't been successful but I guess to be successful I need to change a lot.
I would start with my lifestyle I would be honest I am too lazy so I think having a good and healthy lifestyle would be first.
Then I would work hard and learn to manage my income properly because I spend more than I should and I guess it is the main reason why I am not successful at all.
What keeps you away from being less lazy? Have you ever asked yourself this question?
213  Other / Off-topic / What is your success formula? on: February 25, 2021, 10:36:27 AM
I'm know there might be tons of other threads sounding similar to this, but let's make this one full of positivity and motivational ideas.

So let me know what did it cost to reach to the point of your life where you always wanted to be and if you are still not there what, in your opinion, you should do in order to be in the most successful and fullfilled version of you that you can ever imagine.

I always feel grateful that I had a strong willingness to study in my school years and these basic knowledge often helps me to do well in every day life without of which I would possibly not. But I am not even close to what I want to be. So what, I believe, I have to make a habit is

1. I have to start exercising, at least like 15-20 minutes a day. Especially when your work is about sitting half of a day in front of a computer.
2. I have to normalize my sleep routine. Remember - good sleep is the best meditation.
3. I have to start reading every day at least for half an hour instead of wasting that time for scrolling instagram feed or butt shaking TikTok videos.
4. I have to learn not to take all the work on my shoulders. I'm such a person who tends to feel responsible for solving an issue entirely by himself even if it was supposed to be done collectively.

P.S. The idea of this thread was originally created on another forum. I just want to hear opinions of my fellow bitcointalkers. Peace.

Hacksaw Ridge and Enemy at the Gates. Both are about the WWII.
215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Congrats to humanity! on: February 19, 2021, 06:58:59 AM
Thank you Vod! I genuinely accept this congratulation as excitedly as a congrats to my b'day. And I say the same to you!

And so nice of Google that they added a trick for the event.

216  Other / Meta / Re: This shitty Merit System has ruined Bitcointalk and made it like Facebook on: February 09, 2021, 10:56:04 AM
I somewhere heard a story about a man who entertained people by drawing their portrait with toothpicks and he charged $100 for his work of 5 minutes. Once he was asked why dafuq one should pay this much money for a bunch of toothpicks that he/she would probably throw away after some time. Then the guy said he spent 30 years of his life in order to perfectly own his technique. So it's not about the result that you see at the given time, it's about the amount of effort and investment that one put until he got to the point where he/she is now.

"People with a lot of Merit" did not register their profiles with those "a lot of Merit" inside.
217  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just like I remembered on: February 05, 2021, 12:02:43 PM
Hi everyone! Haven't been on bitcointalk for over a year. I see nothing has changed Cheesy
A lot of things have changed. Such nonsense threads have got less to none and a section called "Off-topic" was created for such "special" discussions. but have should have been aware of that

218  Other / Archival / Re: why Bitcointalk can't introduce their own Coin? on: February 02, 2021, 06:34:59 AM
Hi ,  Why Cant Bitcointalk Introduce their Own coin , why still using Bitcoin to buy their Copper membership ??
I think it will be easy for all if we can use their own coin to buy their copper membership , Isn't it ??
Bitcointalk have announced they endorsed this coin
I took me 15 minutes to figure out what was going on that thread. Ultimately, it was an interesting read, thanks for sharing.
219  Other / Meta / Re: Public request to Theymos for a name change on: January 26, 2021, 06:43:06 AM
If OP's request gets granted, I'd ask not to let such a legendary username be lost into emptiness and get forgotten, instead let me wear that username.  Cheesy

In addition, I know that aspirin is used to reduce pain and fever, and the main ingredient of which is acetylsalicylic acid.  Tongue
220  Other / Meta / Re: To truly discourage unlawful bitcointalk sales of account on: January 23, 2021, 12:48:17 PM
Bitcointalk profile rank is an indicator of a user's contribution level towards the forum. You can buy Copper member status if you want to have access to the forum's all posting features.
