I know everyone has demand to use bitcoin when they are hanging out, not at home. So you should have only one small wallet to use in public locations. For your main capital, store it at home and have backups for it.
I will do like this, I create a wallet for my main capital, make its backup at home. Then I delete that wallet file on my laptop. I only import it if I need to make transaction. When I finished, I delete that wallet file again.
Electrum cold wallet is an option.
If you want a safer option, choose hardware wallets like Ledger, Trezor.

Ray is right about centralized network of Ethereum when it switched from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake.
Ethereum is not like Bitcoin, never and it has been always more centralized than Bitcoin. We can not consider Ethereum has a similar decentralization like Bitcoin.
The switch from PoW to PoS only makes its centralization becomes more seriously and worse. Ray is right about it, again I agree with him.
However, delisting Ethereum on Paxful will be harmful for their platform but maybe Ray want to be a Bitcoin maximalist and want to build Paxful for Bitcoin only with 300+ payment methods for Bitcoin to giftcards, vouchers, fiat currencies and more.

I think it is bad to store private keys even they are encrypted in safety vaults in bank. Banks are centralized and we can not trust their services 100%.
The Russian evasion in Ukraine, this war, show that banks in Switzerland can break their tradition, their terms to freeze accounts and money if they want. It is safer to be our own bank by securing private keys, passwords to encrypt wallet files by ourselves and never store them in central banks.

Funding rate is dynamic with bullish and bearish days. I know how funding rate works, but what I didn't understand was what @SquirrelJulietGarden said that the rate would reduce with time if the position was kept for long or did he give some wrong information?
I typed it wrong. Actually I mean a longer you let your position opens, a more interest you will have to pay for an exchange and therefore even if your position is at profit when you close it, you will have less profit at the end. I should use interest and profit differently to avoid confusion. |

With Perptual trading, when you have a position, the longer you let that position opens, the more interests you will have to pay for that exchange. Usually exchanges will have different shifts of funding rates within every 24 hours. It can be 3 or 4 shifts every day.
So even if your position at the end when you close it at profitable exit price, the longer you let that position opens, the less interest you will get at the end because the more in interest you will have to pay for exchange.
