Why 120V? That's no good my friend, you should have built a 240V instead, so you will have to be looking into equipments you can run on that 120V, that's a bad idea, almost all electricity appliances can work on 240V but not all can work on 120V, some will even cause problem for you

If the hashing power is stable after some hours of running and also the temp is max around 60 or 62°C then I believe you are good, I'm running my rx580s at 1150 core and 2180 memory, this is the only way I get 30MH out of the cards since they have Micron memory onboard, the temp is always around 56°C and 60°C
go to amd wattman and switch faster timing 1 or 2 you will get this even with 2070 memory. I tested my rx580 with memory timing 2 in wattman and I was able to achieve 30MH where I was getting 29MH before, the only difference is 1 MH and it's a Micron memory type 580s, what I want to ask is the right Core clock for the Mclock 2070 cos I'm using Cclock 1150, thanks batsonxl You are welcome mate.Yes 1150 is ok for them in range 2050-2100mhs. and also if you are using phoenix miner you can add -rxboost 1 which will give you another extra 1mhs. You don't have to use that SATA cable that comes with the riser, just use molex or 6pin cable from powersupply, they can power riser itself too, you will need good powersupply that have numbers of extensions 6pin and 8pins if you don't want to use molex, you are only planning to run 3 GPUs I don't see any reason why molex isn't a good choice here

LOL performance not good? The RX 580 has more shader and more memory bandwith (very important for eth mining), so the result is that what it is. The AMD 5700 has double bandwith of the 5500 and can do 55mh. So nothing new here. Make some custom timings and i think you can reach 30mh and undervolt the core more. The rx5500 is good for those who wants to safe lot of energy as possible, the reason why I buy the cards is to run on solar power which requires calculations on power draw to be able to run on battery backup for a longer period of time before the sun came up the next day, RX5500 is a perfect card for such mining build, I can go as low as 55 watts power draw when mining eth |
