261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: September 04, 2020, 04:22:18 PM
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?
Anyone holding these coins already know the worth of cryprocurrencies especially the legit one's with limited supply and deflationary decentralized model of crypto it is much superior an investment than holding gold and also considering it to be relatively new tech we can easily say that the growth prospects for crypto are huge.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Few painful truth that many still don't want to accept about crypto projects on: September 03, 2020, 03:23:19 PM
You forgot to add many staking based coins which are based on ponzi model because they will paying the APR in their own coins which will result in continuous selling pressure and price will keep dumping for such coins obviously this process will take time but eventually this will be the fate of most of the high apr paying coins.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 03, 2020, 02:18:48 PM
It obvious that higher trading volum = more liquidity. liquidity refers to the ability of a coin to be converted into cash or other coins easily. Liquidity is important for any tradeable assets including cryptocurrencies.
Unfortunately, I have obversed that most coins listed this days on certain exchanges are without volume, that is, illiquid.
It is very clear that this situation was not common found before 2019.
What could be the reasons for this abnormalities. Your thoughts.
You know the most important things from an investor or a trader point of view are liquidity and volume.
Whether it is about selecting an exchange to trade on or a pair to trade all traders look for liquidity.
That is perhaps the reason why most traders stay in the most traders pairs of top coins only.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the boss? on: September 02, 2020, 04:36:58 PM
Let's slide apart a little bit. This is just based on personal choice. We can all tend to learn from it too though. In this business, we all aim for the cash rhy? Even if patience is highly required, but my silly question is, who gets more, if one decides to earn in just one of the following:
1. A moderator
2.An investor
3. Bounty Hunter
4. Wearing signature
5. Social Media.

Obviously an investor has always the most bright chances of making it big especially when he is offered to enter in private or presale. Talking of bounties and other tasks they are just a bonus and you will make good amount from them only once or twice a year that too of you found some real good ones.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I go into this crypto???? on: September 02, 2020, 02:18:43 PM
I've heard people talking about other Cryptocurrency and even I've known alot about some of them, I've made careful research about some I'm even yet to know about, but I've not seen too may people talking about Pinkoin and I'm about to join that, please can you share with me your views, I need to have good understanding of it before I go on. Thanks so much 🙏
Looks like you are just trying to shill this coin by posting in a manner where you want opinions of the community. I have never heard about this coin maybe because it is not found in any reputed exchange or do not have big enough community. I do not suggest to invest in such a coin because of the risks associated with these projects.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Y series trends... What do you think? on: September 01, 2020, 08:18:36 PM
This seems nothing but simply some people taking advantage of the scenario around defi projects and speculating it through the use of uniswap and similar platforms. I do not completely know how this all works but many projects have raised funds solely through uniswap only time will tell about their legitimacy.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM GAS FEES MIGHT NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN on: September 01, 2020, 07:44:38 PM
The only positivity in this congestie scenario is that ethereum network and its userbase has grown to new heights and especially the number of transactions has really exploded which also indicates strong organic demand for eth and no wonder price will surge parabolically sooner or later.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down on: September 01, 2020, 06:21:23 PM
Most people perhaps like to believe what they see and it is not a bad thing in crypto market where trends really continue for good length of time, people get trqpped only when they buy too late or near the peak.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to Ethereum's Scaling problem + Smooth transition to Eth 2.0 on: August 31, 2020, 07:18:26 PM
There are many solutioms coming up in the market now especially due to high gas prices of etheteum network people are looking at alternatives, this should put the pressure on eth developers to either find quick solution to high fee or launch eth 2 soon otherwise eth can stay behind in this race.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POSITIVE PREDICTION AND SUITE SAYING BEGINS AGAIN on: August 31, 2020, 05:14:52 PM
Bitcoin rises above 11,600 dollars again for the first time in a long time. This has brought about series of predictions like we saw in 2017.
This is the time for us all to learn from the past experiences. We have to know when to swap to stable coins and when to swap back to bitcoin to avoid loss associated with drastic fall in price that may occur in the future.
Do not worry about the drop because when real bull run is going to start it will stay here for months perhaps 6 to 12 months so there will be ample time for everyone to decide when to take profit or keep riding the bulls, no one can predict the peak but it will be bigger this time.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which portfolio tracker has both Binance and Probit exchange included on: August 30, 2020, 05:51:05 PM
I have been using blockfolio for a while. I wasn't much activw altcoin trader but lately I'm planning of being an active trader. In regards to that, I have to use probit exchange for some reason. But unlucky me, in blockfolio, I can't find price update from probit exchange. They have some renowned exchanges like Binance. Which crypto portfolio tracker have price update from probit?
You can track your portfolio through the option in the cmc or coingecko, that is not the specialized or the best solution but works for me because they have most coins and exchanges listed and you will only miss coins that are not listed or just listed otherwise you can track everything on these platforms.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum High fees, Opportunity for other blockchains to Come forward on: August 30, 2020, 04:58:55 PM
With the continued high transaction(gas) fees we seeing on the ethereum blockchain is this not going to be an opportunity for other blockchains like "TRON" to come out of their slumber to help ethereum with the overload it's experiencing? We can't be talking of the blockchain technology going to disrupt old systems when the transactions per second take forever and is expensive. Let's Remember this is not about competition but working together as crypto
I do not have much hopes from other blockchain networks but i am definitely waiting for eth 2.0 because eth is not only the biggest and most used blockchain network but it has the mist number of developers working on it alongwith the biggest community and fans so even after this situation eth is only getting stronger.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is defi reason for skyrocketing fees? on: August 30, 2020, 11:44:02 AM
I was a bit worried from last few days regarding the high gas fees because I've to pay 10 to 15$ per transaction, that's a huge amount for me as fees, so I started my research regarding the gas fees, and found that defi is the only reason that makes the gas fees that high ,due to the huge trend of defi it makes the ethereum network so much busier that we've to pay more than usual for gas fees ,what you think about it ,help me understand current situation for being so high fees.
It was obviously one of the main reasons because of a lot of transactions going on related to defi as well as their tokens caused congestion in the ethereum network that resulted in high transaction fee while if you traded on swap platforms like uniswap then one reason was comission which they are charging to pay liquidity providers.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin, ethereum etc. cryptocurrency or digital asset? on: August 29, 2020, 06:53:27 PM
earlier I apologize if my English is bad

This is what is always on my mind "bitcoin, ethereum, ripple etc. are cryptocurrencies or digital assets?"
have you ever thought that the naming of cryptocurrency is very influential on bitcoin etc.? because the naming of cryptocurrencies that are currently attached to bitcoin etc. makes bitcoin clash with government regulations relating to the applicable currency

what happens when the name cryptocurrency is changed to a digital asset? I think this will make it easier for bitcoin to be adopted in various countries because it doesn't conflict with financial regulations

I think the naming of cryptocurrency or digital assets plays a big role in the perspective and development of bitcoin

this is just my assumption, what do you think?
Even if you call them digital assets they will still remain cryptocurrencies based on blockchain technology, obviously world, people, regulators, govts and their institutions are acknowledging and finally started to accept crypto as a legit thing so i do not know why we need to call them digital assets now.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: August 28, 2020, 06:00:05 PM
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.
Most people expect similar bull run by the end of 2021 but i think that it will come before that this time as ethereum and defi could be the big stimulus also this time other than btc halving.
So i hope this time around we will see real bull turn from last quarter of this year and may continue till the first two quarters of the next year.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: August 28, 2020, 03:14:11 PM
Hey Guys,

Can someone explain what are these altcoins and what is the exact reason of so much growth in just 24 hours?
Are they scam or legit? Thanks.

Image:

Looks like pump and dump coins to be honest, there are many coins like these with low or no liquidity and volume which are most probably lead by pump and dump telegram channels who announce one such coin  for pumps randomly and followers buy it in expectation of big gains but tge quicker they pump the quicker they dump back as well.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: August 28, 2020, 12:15:54 PM
If the team and the project are real and working diligently towards the development and the success of the project with a good supporting investors then there are high chances of success. Yes the nature and use cases of the project matters and i like all the projects you have listed and i think they have huge future potential.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New NEO DeFi Token - FLAM on: August 27, 2020, 11:33:03 AM
What are you views and thoughts about flamingo finance? There's not much info out there about it yet.
Atleast something trending launching on Neo, It always feels good when other tokenization and smart contracts platforms are used by new projects because mostly we see ethereum based projects, I hope flamingo finance will fo well and make the Neo community proud too.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 27, 2020, 09:39:10 AM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
I do not think so rather i have read a lot of positive news about eth and how it can take over the major share of the market and i expect too that eth can dominate in coming months and years and if the dominancy of eth can grow to aroumd 30 percent of the total market it can grow really big.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: August 26, 2020, 10:42:44 PM
There are many "De-Fi" (Decentralized Finance) apps out there in the crypto/Blockchain space, each with their unique features and offerings. The most popular one is Compound.Finance which provides loans and also lets lenders earn from attractive interest rates. So far, "De-Fi" apps have been widely successful providing "Banking to the Unbanked". With stablecoins mimicking traditional Fiat currencies, people can enjoy banking in a completely decentralized manner. The emergence of COVID-19 in the mainstream world, has accelerated adoption of "De-Fi" apps and stablecoins by a large rate.

If "De-Fi" apps become extremely popular and work as intended, do you think the industry will replace traditional banking in the future? Or does it have a long way to go?

Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
It is too early to say domething like this, let defi projects prove themeselves first, let the business model succeed. Some critics point out that these defi projects will not be sustainable so lets see how they go for next 2-3 years. If everything goes well then definitely defi can vompete with traditional banking but i think it will be a long and bumpy road ahead.
