141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 22, 2020, 04:40:24 PM
The current crypto market is exciting as everyone is happy that new funds are being pumped into the space, investors are making profits and people are aiming for new ATH for bigger profits. I  remind us all not to forget to take profits, cut your greed and find new opportunities. Never be emotional about any project, buy when it's right, sell when it's right.

Unless you have some target in mind, you never know what is the right time to sell.
Some people do have have set target of 20, 30, 50 or 100 percent gains as target, such people will be able to take profit but majority will be searching for new peaks and to identify that is not easy at all.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 22, 2020, 03:54:39 PM
We have etherum bossing altcoins since time past and there has been non replica of any coin that has tried bossing etherum
Just like bitcoin is a king on its own, etherum remains a king on its own too.

Looking forward to the influence of bnb tokens, and okb tokens can have on etherum dominance.
I am expecting that as the eth 2.0 releases and market goes completely north the overall dominancy of eth in the market will further increase and it can reach as high as 30 to 35 percent which may also mean that eth value against btc will increase significantly.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi protocol Pickle Finance hacked for $20,000,000 on: November 22, 2020, 02:11:03 PM
A yield finance protocol Pickle Finance was hacked today for a significant amount.
Pickle finance representatives advised its users to withdraw their DAI balance from Pickle, until the situation gets resolved.
Nearly $20,000,000 DAI was stolen from a wallet belonging to Pickle Finance by an unknown hacker.

https://cryptonews.exchange/2020/11/22/defi-pickle-finance-hacked-with-20-million-stolen/
If this continues then i fear that DeFi projects could get under the radar of the regulators because after losing money the investors can complain to regulators and other investigative agencies which may pave way for kyc and verification stuff for defis as well.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time on: November 21, 2020, 10:15:55 PM
a huge number of altcoins neglect to arrive at the purpose of accomplishment, even the tokens that you hold right up 'til today are progressively useless.

Investing just in the best 10 coins marketcap as I would see it is good for the future, particularly bitcoin (in light of the fact that this is the principle). Invest shrewdly and begin trading in the event that you have seen cautiously.

I don't trade ordinary due to loses, at some point the market is simply terrible and vacillates a ton however I like trading when bitcoin is bullish, most occasions I generally win
Most of the people want to get rich quick and they want to sell as soon as the token from a brand new priject starts trading on an exchange, people think they are smart and they will instantly make big gains then sell and move to another project when most of the people will play this game then onviously the tokens will become worthless because of selling pressure while new projects do need ample time to develop.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 21, 2020, 09:09:44 PM
I always think when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency and I've thought of several methods for choosing the right time to buy cryptocurrency, that is :
1. buy coin during ICO, IEO or STO;
2. buy when the price down (dump);
3. buy when the project has a good news;
4. buy when the price starts to increase (pump);
5. buy when coin from the project listed on big exchange;
6. buy when the project already has a product.
Then from the methods I have mentioned, which method is the most appropriate to buy cryptocurrency or is there another method that you can suggest to buy cryptocurrency at the right time?
For overall market i would suggest to buy after the market has peaked and 6 months to one year time is enough for the peak prices to come back to the ground then is the best time to buy the coins of your choice and then for next one year you can take profit everytime your coin grows 10 to 20 person after that one year should be for accumulating more coins and then again getting ready for bull cycle.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 21, 2020, 08:37:13 PM
Let's start supporting jr member accounts managing new bounty projects, not all of them are scammers, the only way we can have good people like Hhampuz, Wapinter, bubbalex and others is to give helping hand and support new bounty managers, all pro bounty managers today starts from somewhere too, I have promoted few bounties from new bounty managers with jr member accounts and they are quit good, I even put one or two through about some headaches like POA and stuff, we need more bubbalex don't we? Before judging any new projects from newbies or jr members kindly check the projects out first, thanks
I totally agree that we need honest, professional and people that prefer quality over quantity in this bounty arena to make sure that this industry keeps growing so that people can work to promote new projects while getting good rewards so this is very noble sector that can create jobs or employment opportunities for people looking for work online but to achieve this market has to perform well no one will be attracted to work if 7 out of 10 campaigns will be scam or will not bother paying bounty rewards.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 07:37:49 PM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?
I think the pattern is going to be similar this time around as well just like the market did last time. So if you are holding good alts the power bull effect will definitely be seen there it is just a matter of time but if you do not want to wait then you should ideally be in btc ir eth as these 2 top coins always enjoy the first mover advantage.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 10:44:28 PM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k

Actually what happened to ethereum?
I think ethereum price is nicely keeping up with that of bitcoin's because if you remember well few months back eth price was ranging in between $100 to $200 but as market improved and btc dominated eth has slowly followed it as well and that is why it is trading above 500 now with more upside expected.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 20, 2020, 09:08:25 PM
I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.
I can feel your pain and literally i have skipped to transact or swap after seeing high transaction fee per transaction but at the same time i am optimistic as well that ethereum will come up high quality and long lasting solutions for scalability so that network will be ready to host and hold the load of mass adoption for coming years without any congestion.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: November 20, 2020, 07:04:45 PM
Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment

My analysis Results are here

A)  9%      successful projects with an Active telegram group
B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.
Project name --  Xfinance

Is it belongs to Which one ?[ A or B  Huh?]

Recently, i saw a new project with over 70,000 members but to my surprise only few admins of the group dropped some messages in the group daily and only a couple people from community spoke about anything in a week there , lastly the team announced we are making a new telegram group and all members should join there and now even after 2 weeks still there are less than 100 members in new groups which confirms that most members in the old telegram geoup were fake or bots. So telegram channel and stats should not be considered a factor before investing.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is for you the best Defi Project for 2021? on: November 20, 2020, 06:40:41 PM
Hello,

I want to know which is for you the best DeFi project for 2021.

I think that Defi will be definetively the economy of the future, but I dont know a lot of this technology/projects.

Thanks for your Tips!

Best Regards,

Your point is right there are not many projects of optimum quality in defi sector that we can look upon for major success in 2021. Yes there are already successful and established projects like uniswap, aave, compound, yearn, synthetix etc but we need more projects more products and more services in defi sector to really move towards mass adoption.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I could consider staking if .... on: November 17, 2020, 04:51:32 PM
Guys is there any way to stake coins in your very own wallet without sending to another wallet? Is there any project or blockchain that allows staking in door only? Please share because I can't sleep at night sending my coins to other wallet for staking returns
I think some projects have this option, where user has to simply hold the tokens or coins in the official wallet and they are good to earn the staking rewards automatically in their wallets. Similarly there will be more staking options available after ethereum network activates staking, this will be the biggest event in staking sector.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any project with coin distribution?? on: November 17, 2020, 12:05:31 PM
Is there any current project distributing free coins or having Airdrops?

Or anyone giving free coins as start up.. let me know I will message the address
I do not think there is any legit project giving away free coins. Yes there are bounty campaigns available in the bounties section of this forum but you have to perform certain tasks to claim your stakes and rewards at the end of bounty campaign that can take some weeks.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 08:23:15 AM
Are we getting better now after 10 years, after ten years there are still hacking going on, there are still many scam projects and the market is still volatile but on the lighter side the adoption is progressive, the market always recovers from any situation, and there are good project coming in.

I see much more positives than negatives, crypto and blockchain is definitely thriving big time now and with all major countries developing crypto rules and regulations soon we will see crypto going mainstream with mass adoption and everyone will be using and holding it and obviously scams will be discouraged because being regulated scammers will have no chance.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 15, 2020, 09:20:19 PM
Almost all projects are cheating and refusing to give tokens at the end of bounty management. It's really sad that hunters work hard but they don't get tokens as a rule..

When the bounty is over, the team is making new plans so that they can easily escape by cheating.

I would like to say to all professional managers that Escrowed is very important and all of you should follow it.

Just in my opinion
Otherwise
1. Hunter will decrease
2. Team cheating step will increase

We desperately need something that makes sure bounty hunters are paid on time after the campaign ends and there are no excuses or delays by the team or manager.
Also it is high time that hunters should unite and start something to name and shame projects and teams that do not pay or deceive hunters in any possible way so i would suggest to form a union or association to create a bigger and louder voice.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: November 15, 2020, 07:33:05 PM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?
Defi is a new comprehensive concept it is just getting started i expect a lot more products and services coming under defi umbrella in few months when we will see more and more innovative projects especially the projects working to provide infrastructure to defi to expand in all directions like RadixDLT, with such out class projects defi will gain dominancy and adoption in near future.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 15, 2020, 06:32:58 PM
Which do you think is best for a new project and why?

ICO - initial coin offering
IEO - initial Exchange offering
IDO - initial Dex offering
STO - Secority token offering

IEO is always the best for me because infinity I can be sure that they will not scam and will enter the exchange market in the future. In addition, IEO of top exchanges are always the best such as like binance, kucoin. So you should participate in all these IEO because the amount of risk is to low.

Note- I don't know if the same topic has been presented in the past and I'm creating the topic with my own ideas.
Securities are the future and i am talking about the tokenized securities where investors become the share holders and deserve to receive the profits so im sure security token offering could be next big thing but due to regulatory restrictions they are still not finding favorable conditions. So once the regulatory green signal is there we will see quality projects coming up with full regulatory compliance.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think crypto stand a chance agaisnt the financial system on: November 14, 2020, 10:01:58 PM
Let's face the truth, it is only in theory that cryptocurrency is a threat to banks/financial system. In reality, the banking/financial system is so big that crypto's threat is not significant at all. Majority of cryptocurrency investors are not really interested in crypto replacing the traditional financial system, they are just interested in it creating enough hype for more people to get in so their investment can skyrocket.
Think of it, if crypto was really a huge threat, don't you think we would have enough regulation by now?? what is you opinion??
Why cannot you find so many solutions that the crypto is providing, huge infrastructure comprising of coding, smart contracts and programming is being developed that will effectively deliver dozens of products like defi, AI, IOT, automation, banking and whole lot of innovation that will give direction to future digitalization drive as well.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 14, 2020, 09:18:27 PM
I would like to make it clear that I have been a bounty hunter, bounty manager, and part of project management for various projects and this is not to support the bounty hunters but rather to show the reality how bounty hunters and what they go through in this forum.

I know it's not easy to manage a bounty campaign as you will receive thousands of messages from irritating users, there will be hundreds of fake entries in the spreadsheet then you real users disputing that they didn't receive stakes because some imposters have entered their address against the real user's name and sometimes bounty managers or dev team's response would not be the politest one.

But at the same time there are hundreds of hardworking bounty hunters who work really hard in the hope that their efforts would be rewarded but all the efforts are shadowed by the wrongdoings of few cheap users with fake accounts who bombard, spam the bounty groups and harass bounty managers as a result whole bounty hunter community is looked with suspicious and selfish.

Bounty tokens contribute a very small portion of the total supply if we look at the percentage of tokens which are traded but still bounty hunters are blamed for dumping the market with cheap price, regardless of the price bounty hunters sell the tokens if the project is good then the price will not be affected or even if it's affected it will eventually recover without much loss but they are blamed for dump wherein it's sometimes investors who dump the token for quick profit.

The worst part is when tokens are locked for bounty hunters and only distributed to them when the market is already broken by investors, after their efforts and ill-treatment in the hands of such bounties they finally receive worthless tokens which would be a loss even if they trade as the tokens will not even worth the GAS fee charged in MEW wallet to transfer it.

I urge all the management and bounty managers to treat bounty hunters with respect and they shouldn't be judged.

I have made a similar article about the pain of bounty managers and here is the link you may read it and understand I have seen both the phases

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5219422.msg53662033#msg53662033

Just like other things bounty payments should be guaranteed and i think there should be regulation on this atleast by bigger countries.
Every new project invests from out of pocket in website development, whitepaper, team, advisors. Similarly they should also have a base budget for bounty campaign so that in case of failure for project to raise funds the hunters could be paid for the work.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 14, 2020, 08:29:12 PM
Altcoins are really scary, if you can do some research you will see many good altcoins that had very good start and value in 2018 and are still alive today but we never heard anything good from them anymore for some reasons, they are now like ghosts, honestly altcoin investment is more scary, this is why its better to always take profit, most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.
I have myself experienced similar situation in the past but these decisions are very complicated because you always have hopes about the project. Sometimes you see small negative things about the project but you try to stay positive and ignore those but i think when you start seeing such things it is better to exit than seeing the ship crashing.
