41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Elon Musk is a Dogecoin shill? on: February 13, 2021, 10:33:56 PM
Elon Musk's praise towards Dogecoin, has made the "meme" coin soar towards new heights. He continues to spread positive comments about it, resulting in increased interest from people in the mainstream world. Yet, it seems to me that Mr. Musk doesn't know much about Dogecoin. The cryptocurrency was never meant to be taken seriously with a high inflation model and its track record of abandoned development. It could be that Elon Musk is "shilling" Dogecoin in order to fill his pockets with money. If he invested before the craze, he would've made a lot of money by now. It's yet to be seen what his true intentions are.

What are your thoughts about Mr. Musk's reactions towards Dogecoin? Is he a "shill" or not? What will be the outcome of Dogecoin's price after the hype comes to an end? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
To be honest he is proving to be more than doge shill he is lile crypto shill because he recently changed his bio at twitter with bitcoin that created some waves and also his 1.5 billion btc investment via tesla created the desired fomo and price of btc pumped over 20 percent in a day so im loving what he is doing for the market.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: February 13, 2021, 10:12:24 PM
Hi guy,

I have 5k dollars, you think i should investment any altcoin.

Do you think about UNISWAP? i see it have a top rank in DEFI.

Thanks you.
Uni, aave and snx are no doubt revolutionary projects in the defi world but they have just grown too much in recent months, yes therr is still potential of growth but personally i would be careful and not enter at the moment. It is upto you if you find a good entry you can still enter.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is setting up to launch their own digital currency on: February 13, 2021, 09:05:01 PM
Amazon is now the latest company to be jumping to the cryptocurrency world by creating their own currency so it can be used as payment system in their marketplace.
It's yet to be concluded if amazon is already developing their new currency or they are just in a study face as things is still in secret.

Source https://www.techradar.com/uk/news/amazon-set-to-launch-its-own-bitcoin-rival
I think it would be much better if they used already existing truly decentralized coons like btc, eth or ada for their platform, creating a new coin for their platform would mean they want to control it and it would definitley be a centralized coin.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which upcoming DeFi projects would you recommend? on: February 13, 2021, 07:35:42 PM
Am looking in investing into few DeFi Projects that are starting now, or are considered new, that have not had an increase yet.

Up to now, I have heard about the following:

Raave
Cartesi

What's your input in this?

Any recommendations?

Obviously higher the risk, higher the reward.
I would suggest to stick with the already proven and established defi projects because there are many scammers trying to take advantage from this defi trend. Obviously if a new project stands out of the rest then we can consider but i do not see any new defi project recently that looks good.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is It Still Profitable To Mine Cryptos In 2021 on: February 13, 2021, 06:42:24 PM
I have always been interested in mining cryptocurrency in a very long time and my biggest obstacle has always been the financial resources to purchase mining rigs and electricity required however remaining crypto-currencies became almost impossible for me because of the high cost involved and very low profit margin so I am pumped to ask that with the recent pumps in crypto prices and everything going to the moon is it profitable to mine Bitcoin in 2021 or any other altcoins please let me know.
Yes, I think bitcoin mining is a profitable business these days but you should know that bad days will also come when there will be no profit and even loss especially during bearish market but at the moment as market is growing miners are making good money but we all know this business is not that profitable like it used to be in the past.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk said he bought Dogecoin on: February 11, 2021, 10:21:50 PM
Just half an hour ago, Elon Musk tweeted that he has purchased Dogecoin. This is hilarious. Finally he is getting into crypto (may be he was here for long ago). I just got the reason behind his shilling lol.
Here- https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1359519541219500033?s=19
The bigger news is that he is now buying btc regularly as his company tesla will keep part of reserves in btc and soon they will also start accepting btc and other top coins to purchase tesla cars, being the high demand car company this is very big news and we will definitely see its positive impact in the market with prices pumpong even harder.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust wallet vs Atomic wallet staking on: February 11, 2021, 09:46:23 PM
Which crypto wallet will you use for staking coins? Atomic wallet or Trust wallet? Kindly tell me more why you choose any of these two, I use trust wallet because its from binance team but some said atomic staking ROI is better
I have never used atomic wallet to be honest and trust wallet that i use is also not my primary wallet because i think ot still need to add more features and services perhaps some of them can be copied from binance official app especially im talking about financial products that provide users a way to extract steady income from the market.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: February 11, 2021, 09:29:04 PM
what are the coins or tokens that you hold at the moment and explain why you choose that
hope this can help others in choosing what cryptocurrency is good for hold and has a bright future  ☺️ .
personally I invest in XLM and XRP , is both coin are good as a long-term investment ?
I think xrp and xlm are good but xrp should be quick and settle its issues with SEC first and when that happens we will see price of xrp growing massively. As far as my favorite coin is concerned i have been holding ethereum but as far as profit potential is concerned im looking at trx for possible 50x gains because it has massively potential for growth.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum now looks like a complete joke on: February 11, 2021, 08:35:23 PM
It doesn't look like altcoins will pump hard this time around, it's still shocking that many ERC20 tokens under Ethereum are not really appreciating in value even when Ethereum reached 1200$, I have nothing to say than to ask what the heck is going on.

Another issue is the insane gas fee of ethereum, I have been holding ERC20 tokens the most and to even sell right now is killing me inside because it costs over 10$ to move my ERC20 tokens to exchange, I might just have to give up on this heartbreaking Ethereum blockchain
It is bull market and even in the last bull market we saw network congestions and high gas fee but even those issues didnt prevent ethereum price to moon so same will be the case this time around as well, some people will keep complaining and ethereum's value will keep rising.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: February 11, 2021, 07:48:14 PM
What do people think? Is it better to invest, say, 100 dollars in ether or bitcoin?
It is very difficult question but i know one thing and that is that the wise investora are holding both as both of them are not only the top crypto coins but they are simply the iconic coins that represent over 80 percent of the total crypto market cap so we can call these two coins the most dominant coins in the market.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard to Bring Crypto into its Network after VISA on: February 11, 2021, 07:19:12 PM
Mastercard said on Wednesday it was planning to offer support for some cryptocurrencies on its network this year, joining a string of big-ticket firms that have pledged similar support.

https://twitter.com/MastercardNews/status/1359620174836617218?s=20
Being payment service providers at a global scale i think visa and mastercard are already very late to be doing this now because it would have been in their interest to implement crypto like 2 years ago, now they are just forced to add crypto support because they are losing and missing a big market because even paypal has implemented it now with many big companies rushing and embracing crypto now.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of projects that solves a real problem. on: February 10, 2021, 10:15:34 PM
Feel free to add to the list.

After a lot of research, I figured I would make a list of projects that actually solves some of the key problems we see in our daily lives. There are thousands of crypto projects out there among all the meme coins, scam coins, and dead projects that deserve to get some spotlight.

Bitcoin
The KING of crypto. First mover, store of value.

Ethereum
Smart contracts and a huge network of projects build on top of it.

Chainlink
Decentralized Oracle Network.

Basic Attention Token
Removes the middleman between advertisers and publishers

DIVI Project
"Crypto Made Easy" - Eases the entry barrier to cryptocurrencies, making it as simple to use as possible. (I.E: Send money straight from your bank account to the DIVI wallet).

Monero
Privacy, plain and simple.

These are just a few... Feel free to add your own!  Wink
Defi and yield farming are the biggest revenue generating sources for crypro enthusiasts and rightly so they uave been trending for last many months now but to make yield farming easier and hassle free their are many projects available now that solves all the complications and you can easily just opt at their platforms and rest will be managed by them, im talking about projects like swissborg, yield app and ousd and i think these are solving a big problem for thousands of people.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin is best? on: February 10, 2021, 09:18:36 PM
I used to use USD tether all the time and still using it for trading purposes and liquidity purpose but recently we have seen a FUD or may be truth that SEC may have issue against them although they clarified that they are running it under registered business etc etc. Is tether risky from that purpose? Even if SEC warrant something like XRP, what will happen to Tether?
What about another alternative stablecoin?
Despite the fud USDT still rules the stablecoin market so basically market thinks that it is legit and also everytime they have proven that they are backed genuinely by fiat bank accounts so i do not see any real problem other than fud. Usdc is also great and its volumes are growing simply because some people think it is safer alternative to usdt.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alt coins now? on: February 10, 2021, 08:48:14 PM

The BTC has made history today  and broke its all time high record. It is currently trading around $ 20500 to 20600. BTC Dominance Index is around 65% which is very High. I personally think that it is the Right time to take entry in Good Alt coins ( Ranking from 2 to 20 on coinmarketcap). I believe that History of 2017 will be repeated soon. We will soon witness Huge rally in Alts. It should happen when BTC will stabilize around current levels and BTC dominance Index comes down to below 60%.
As we finally into a bullish year and it is just starting so time is good to buy some good qlts and then hold for few months to rake the most out of the big bull season and make decent profits out of the market. Personally i will be taking just partial profit and then keep riding the bullish wave.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Report ETH for SCAM because $80 fees on: February 10, 2021, 08:03:44 PM
We should make a thread in Scam Accusation forums because ETH steal $50 on transaction fees for simple token transfer.
Some transfers in MetaMask show as $120.... WTF!

Meanwhile other projects as KoinOS have $0 fees and Uniswap will run just fine on it too some day.

I predict ETH crashing again from $1500 to $80 like with last crash. ETH is an expensive scam coin that is the AIDS of crypto.
Remember all the scam ICOs on ETH? How many billions people lost?

And now $50 on token transfers??

All ETH ever did was ruin crypto. Its not a good project except for the billionaires who bought it for $0.25.

Not even Paypal ever had such horrible fees as ETH.

I rather pay an old man with a mule $50 for token transfer than pay $50 on eth.
Can also just call an UBER to transfer your token, much cheaper than ETH!

So what are some alternatives? What platforms can UNISWAP also run on easily
with low fees?

I already say KoinOS but they are very early (like buying eth for $0.25, still UNDER
1000 holders!!) but what are some other projects? Preferably around $100m market cap or lower?
Yeah that has been quite severe problem for users especially trading erc 20 tokens and till full eth 2.0 release there is not much hope of improvement but if you are trading stablecoins than i would suggest you to use them on other networks like trading and transacting tron based usdt is very fast and cheap and it is the same usdt so take advantage of alternative chains.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are more friendly with Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2021, 07:25:10 PM
LTC, Ethereum, BCH, or other altcoins; which ones will be used in combination with Bitcoin in the digital future ahead of us?
Well if you are asking in general terms and also as digital future then the answer is very simple. All the top 20 to 50 coins are going to play a very important role in shaping up the digital future. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Tron could be the top coins leading the revolution.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel, Looking at the Bullrun market? on: February 10, 2021, 06:49:34 PM
Are you sad to see the current market situation? YES to ME  Cry
1. Seeing insane eth gas costs, Unable to trade small amounts of tokens due to expensive shipping costs.
2. Seeing the increase in the price of BTC reaching the new ATH, I can't do much because I don't have any BTC investments or other coin investments whose prices have gone up.

Oh my GOD .. my life is very sad. I hope BTC and ETH prices drop dramatically, amen  Grin
You seem to be an exception here because everyone want to see btc and eth moon everyday. I do not know why you are not holding any of these coins but surely you can still find cheap gems in the market that have huge potential to grow in value like trx and vechain.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which projects do you guys hold, and why? on: February 10, 2021, 06:12:39 PM
Thought it would be nice to know which projects you guys believe in, and why?

My current portfolio looks like this:

1) BTC
2) ETH
3) LINK
4) XMR
5) ADA
6) DIVI

The first 5 projects have done extremely well - I picked DIVI as a low cap project since I believe in their vision "Crypto Made Easy".
The Divi team is dedicated to making cryptocurrency easy to use and providing residual income. Their masternode system is set up with one click setup and instantly begins to provide a passive income in their native token. Most of all they are creating a cryptocurrency wallet that will be as easy and simple to use as Venmo, with Paypal and IBAN integration straight into the wallet, it makes it extremely easy for the average Joe to move money from his bank account to his wallet, without moving everything onto an exchange like Binance or Coinbase first.

I'm looking to diversify into other projects as well, what do you guys recommend?  Smiley

In my opinion the top alts that i want to hold and even accumulate more are eth, ada, trx, dot, bnb, avax, icx, utk etc but currently im just holding some eth and trx but due to limited amount of funds for now im not been able.to buy other alts that i like but hopefully soon.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance increases again and what happened to altcoin? on: February 07, 2021, 09:55:31 PM
today we see BTC Dominance increase to 61.9% and this gives us two possibilities, that is :
1. we will see the price of BTC will make its new ATH price and after the price of BTC makes a new ATH price, then there will be an altseason (bull run for altcoin)
2. after the bull run in Bitcoin (Bitcoin price increased very high and created a new ATH price), then what happens next is the market experiences a bear run (the price of altcoin goes down)

then what do you think will happen? and if I personally hope point 1 will happen Grin.
At this point of time i do not think it is wise to discuss bears qs this whole year is expected to be bullish not only for bitcoin but altcoins as well and all good projects will moon it is just a matter of time just stay positive.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential of an altcoin on: February 07, 2021, 12:56:09 PM
Hi all, I would like to understand how to calculate the potential of an altcoin in order to understand when it is a good time to sell it.
In my specific case for example I bought INJ in December and now the profit is about 600% .
Should I compare INJ to an existing well established similar altcoin (if they exists) to understand its potential?
I know I should set in advance a price when starting to sell, but this could be 100%, 200% etc of profit but which to choose?

Thank you.
I think this is more than enough growth so personally i would have took partial profit here if not all, you can take 25% or so profit for now if you are still bullish and hold on for more gains later. If you do not need cash at the moment then obviously you can hold for even more gains.
