The average IQ level for all posts will also help at suckpuppet detection. The problem might be that most suckpuppet masters might fall on lower 20% on IQ scale.

Proof or STFU

They obviously have a higher than the average IQ and suffer some multiple personality disorder, so they can keep a good level of post quality if they wanted to, or the agenda requires it.

Language is pretty easy.

Form a histograms of:
Syllables per word
Words per sentence
Sentences per paragraph.
Vocabulary.

And use of CR's in every post too

1505  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good news; ECB 2012/10 report on virtual currencies on: October 29, 2012, 08:25:29 PM
Quote from: ecb, page 10
Virtual currencies resemble money and necessarily come with their own dedicated retail payment
systems; these two aspects are covered by the term “virtual currency scheme”. Virtual currency
schemes are relevant in several areas of the financial system and are therefore of interest to central
banks. Virtual currency schemes have been subject to increased press coverage, even being featured
in respectable media publications. The ECB has been contacted a number of times in recent months
by academics, journalists and concerned citizens, who want to know its view or want to warn the
institution about potential problems with virtual currency schemes. In this context, it was considered
advisable to strive for a common understanding and, thereafter, to formulate a coordinated response.
This explains the ECB’s interest in carrying out a more detailed analysis, especially in view of its
role as a catalyst for payment systems and its oversight role. The present report is the result of this
analysis. It is a first attempt to provide the basis for a discussion on virtual currency schemes.
(emphasis mine.)

This sounds pretty prudent and promising to me.

and later:

Quote
Money is a social institution: a tool created and marked by society’s evolution, which has exhibited
a great capacity to evolve and adapt to the character of the times. It is not surprising that money has
been affected by recent technological developments and especially by the widespread use of the
internet.

interesting, no FUD so far or misinformation or misunderstandings, just facts I can agree with... this is weird, I'll keep reading.

Can't agree more, strange...

1512  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Who is mining with ASIC hardware? on: October 28, 2012, 01:08:27 PM
Time travel hasn't been invented yet, but in 40 years it will be. Bitcoin will be massively illegal and mining will be impossible due to sophisticated tracking. The mob sends ASICS back in time to guys like me, called dumpers. We mine on our ASICS from the future and dump for cash now. When everyone gets their ASICS and dumps we buy back up like crazy and send the coins to a BTC address in the future.

This is called "Closing the Dump"

now it makes sense.

^Great plan, where do I sign up?

I was wondering if anyone from Bitcoin Magazine staff is here? It would be great to have an electronic version of your magazine too, guys. There's a lot of people outside US who are unable to buy it now and would love to read magazine in that form.

+1 and they could sell on coindl.com, at whatever people want to give.
1518  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase Blog - Buy And Sell Bitcoin By Connecting Any U.S. Bank Account on: October 27, 2012, 03:45:37 PM

 1. Are you really supposed to hand over your full banking credentials to a third party? What would your bank say about that?

Asking for that seems a pretty good way to be tagged as "Internet scam". Suppose they manage to leak the password list somehow.

In Germany there is a pretty popular payment gateway which asks for your banking credentials , you even login in your bank account through their site and make the purchase with your data. It is easy, fast and secure. I don't have any information about the coinbase process but if its similar and secured with ssl its no more risky than your normal online banking.

I wouldn't touch that gateway with a ten foot pole stick. Hearing all this, I feel a little more warm and fuzzy when thinking about bitcoin  Roll Eyes
