Nice one @Bitconian Btw, you learned how to get bitcoin tips? Because I don't see your address anywhere to send you some coins. Thanks! You can send any coins you want here: 1GEUEBTm6XfRuqAswrR6LbofnMq6VN5A5P I still use that wallet, but now it's my old wallet. I got a new one, more secure, and more secret and if you send some....I will appreciate your gesture And thanks every one. I'm glad you like the post. I withdrew the coins right away and the transaction did in fact go through, I made 5x my initial small amount out of nothing. I'm going to see if the site is still doing the same thing. If it is I'll make my fortune then let you guys know the name :p
You could get rewarded more than that if you report it to site owners, depending on their policies regarding service bugs.

Ripple is just a way to keep track of all this. Most importantly, it keeps track of the relationships between pizza owner/employees/olive oil producer.
Or, maybe I'm 100% wrong. It is confusing.
Great, but this begs a question, where is all the accounting info kept? its a p2p system, everyone holds the ledger, which is updated every few seconds So it works like Bitcoin? Having a blockchain with all the transactions and stuff. I don't know. From what I have gathered, it is a distributed database. Users would only need to hold their own data, but available to everyone upon demand. It wouldn't be a 'blockchain' with every transaction. I understand. Offering 250mBtc to the person that does research on Ripple http://www.rugatu.com/questions/6452/what-is-ripple

http://www.no-spec.com/faq/Why is spec work unethical?
The designer in essence works free of charge and with an often falsely advertised, overinflated promise for future employment; or is given other insufficient forms of compensation. Usually these glorified prizes or “carrots” appear tantalizing for creative communicators just starting out, ending with encouraging examples like “good for your portfolio” or “gain recognition.” The reality is that they often yield little extra work, profit or referrals. Moreover they often must sign a contract unwittingly waiving their valuable creative rights and ownership of their work to the ones promoting this system. A verbal agreement is ineffective in protecting the rights of the designer in a court of law. As a result the client/employer will often employ other designers using similar unprincipled tactics to change and/or resell the creative work as their own. This also promotes the practice of designers ridiculously undercharging themselves in the hopes of “outbidding” any potential rivals, devaluing both their skills and those of the graphics industry in the process. Promoting this method encourages some clients/employers to continue preying on uninformed creatives for menially valued labor.
Thanks for bringing it up again TF. I was looking for this a while back to warn people, and recommend them use services like Rugatu that can guarantee them getting paid, by holding the funds in "escrow" while the work is being done.

... Bitcoin: wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed
... First of all try running the wallet A with "-detachdb=1", as psy suggested, and then stop it so you have a consistent database file (wallet) before you copy it over. If it doesn't work you can use the db4.8_dump and db4.8_load utilities to recover it completely. You may need to install db4.8-util package first. db4.8_dump -p wallet.dat >wallet.txt Import the purged dump again: db4.8_load -f wallet.txt wallet.dat.new Replace wallet.dat with wallet.dat.new, and start bitcoin.
