1942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There's still a million free satoshis unclaimed on this forum on: August 26, 2012, 11:43:24 PM
It shouldn't be hard to find.

What do you mean?

http://www.amazon.es/XFX-PRO850W-850-espec%C3%ADficado-Negro/dp/B0045L4BNW/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1346003376&sr=1-5

1944  Other / Off-topic / Re: A microscopic view of Casacius physical bitcoins on: August 26, 2012, 09:16:40 PM
I recently purchases this microscope from amazon, and started looking at everything I can get my hands on at 40-150x.

I wonder how long until someone tries an xray microscope (or whatever they are called) to see the private key underneath.

Looking forward to it.

You mean they can't?  Smiley

nice pics @etotheipi

Sadly, I do not have a scanner.  So all that's on there are pics

Heh, that's a challenge.  Can anyone make out what it says?
I'll see if I can get it scanned somewhere else.  Might take a day or two though.

CamScanner should do the trick, but only if you have an android phone

Are you new to bitcoins and want see how it all works?

Well we are giving away 0.01BTC for facebook likes. Like us on facebook and then post your wallet address on our wall and we will send you 0.001BTC.

www.facebook.com/BitInnovate

*Offer valid for a limited time

So you only want 10 likes for a limited time?
Hmm, make that 1mBtc (0.001btc) for every like, then have a bitcoin ready and you should be seeing some nice results  Wink
1952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card! on: August 26, 2012, 11:34:23 AM
That's bullshit. The terminal wouldn't have access to files on the card. It would interact with the card just like any other terminal for any other electronic cash/debit card.

Exactly how could the terminal make a payment without having access to the wallet file? Its not like you can run bitcoind on a smartcard. Its all or nothing.

^sockie detected, this was easy, look at the name  Shocked, and first thread to comment is this one

+1 what droledabin said, the terminal will interact with the card which would protect the secret keys by hardware means

@strideynet go on with the project, we'll be waiting forward for results. Bitcoiners need your product yesterday dude Grin
1953  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-08-24 American Banker - Lightning Fast, Dirt Cheap: Bitcoin Shows What Bank on: August 26, 2012, 11:16:20 AM
If I were the betting kind, I'd bet the first bank to offer BTC accounts will be a Swiss one  Cheesy

The Swiss have caved to the Eurocrat money Nazis.  They grassed on their US customers.  Farking snitches should get stitches.

Their 900 year tradition of neutrality, privacy, and financial competence is dead.  It just hasn't stopped moving yet, due to inertia.

The first bank to offer BTC interoperability will be in the middle east (Dubai, Israel), Russia (God bless crazy Ivan), or SE Asia (Singapore).

^ this.

lol, two trolls in a row, we're getting better every day here on bitlk.

Neutrality is not dead, just being bashed and fought with all the globalist forces joined together.
The first one will be a swiss bank so, you wanna bet?

No te sigo.

@Taz, for artists a place like Rugatu is great, because they have the assurance of getting paid for their work, so I recommend you trying it out and you will be amazed with the received feedback and art.

We had our logo made by some awesome artists that signed up with us right away. They realized that making profit for their work just got easier.
Here is the contest of our logo http://www.rugatu.com/questions/452/can-you-pimp-rugatus-logo

Except in this case, the artist is not getting paid for their work, this job is pretty much pro-bono as stated in the last reply by the OP.

Got it, didn't read the whole thread.
